A short but very hot novella.
Serenity and Elliott have been best friends since school, and have secretly been in love with the other for years but afraid to say anything that might ruin their friendship. But after Elliott went out of town for work for six months, all bets are off. They both have to reveal their feelings because they can’t be away from each other for so long again. Will fear stop they from revealing their feelings to each other or will love and desire win? I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
Our hero has been deployed overseas, but it turns out he returns just in time to rescue our heroine for an unruly patron. They will never get a better opening to express their true feelings.
This is book three in the series, but it is written as a standalone. No prior reading is required to enjoy this story.
This is a short and steamy romance story. The story is very well written and easy to read, with a straightforward plot. As with the previous books in the series, the characters are wonderfully developed and shine through as the true stars they are. The result is some nice steam and a wonderful HEA. I really enjoyed this story and, frankly, this entire series and hope to see more in the future.
Highly recommended.

Sassy teaches at and runs a pole dancing club. Elliot is in the military and is back from a 6 month deployment. They’ve been friends for years. While he is away they both realize they want to be more than friends. Will they risk their friendship in exchange for something more?
“Climb” is a short, sweet and spicy ‘friends to lovers’ romance. Well written, told in alternating POV, descriptive dialogue and easy to understand. A good story focusing on the pivotal moment of two people becoming a couple – not just physically but emotionally, too. Loved it!

Sassy runs and owns The Kitten Club. Its not a strip club but a dance studio that she enjoys sharing her love of dance with others. Elliot is Sassy’s best friend since childhood but as they got older she developed feelings for him. He has been away deployed and is just coming back home. Sassy is excited about seeing him again. Elliot has wanted to be with Sassy for awhile but was afraid she didn’t feel the same so he did nothing about it. Just as he arrives at her studio he sees that she is having some trouble with a man. Sassy is glad when she sees Elliot because she knew that she couldn’t handle the man that thought she was running a strip club. After he was dealt with her and Elliot got to have their reunion. But either of them finally admit their feelings for one and another?
This is another greats installment to this series. Once I started it I couldn’t put it down. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.
