I enjoyed this book more that the first book in the series. The characters a interesting and the plot is fast-passed and intense.
A unique plot. I won’t say anything more for fear of spoiling it for other readers.
Once you start this, you can’t put it down.
I’m pretty picky about crime thrillers. To me, so many of the popular best-selling authors are just okay. So for me to give this 5 stars is a pretty big deal. Well developed characters in a real page turner. One of those books you stay up all night reading. Lots of twists and turns. Overall a great read if you like crime thrillers.
This is also a good book that’s very hard to put down..
A competent novel but not outstanding. There are better authors of such mysteries.
Good read
Excellent English crime novel. Good characters.
This book held my interest from start to finish. Great read!
It was ok but it jumped around too much. The ending was thrown together
Love Morton!!
I’ve gotten hooked on mysteries set in England. Well developed plots and always something new to learn about the country side. This book moves along nicely with two plots woven together.
I would read more from this author
Interesting plot & characters without being too gritty, too explicit.
Great book! I enjoyed reading this installment in the series and am enjoying how the characters are developing.
Good mystery plot built from the main character following one clue. The single clue ties murder and greed together leading the reader on trying to figure it out before the main character.
Interesting and moving
Just couldn’t get intetested. Sounded good, but not as interesting as I hoped.
Unpredictable. I enjoyed the read.
Thriller!!
