Jack Reacher is in Fort Knox on his own mission: to bring down a dangerous criminal ring operating at the heart of America’s military. Except now Will Trent is on the scene.

Not the best work of either author but still enjoyable. A dumb ending I thought.
Name recognition drove the price. Nice story but nothing special.
This book is a mash up of Will Trent and Jack Reacher. While I don’t have a lot of experience with either of these characters, I still enjoyed this book. Shady things are happening at Fort Knox, and the only two people who could solve this mystery are Jack Reacher and Will Trent. Will is supposed to be investigating Jack and solving a 22-year old cold case. However, this conspiracy seems to go deeper than either one of them could have imagined. u2063u2063u2063

I though this was a fun book to read. It feels like you are a part of the team. I wish I had more background about the characters because this book felt a little rushed for me. However, even with the quick pace, I really enjoyed the story. I hope to see more collaborations from Slaughter and Child in the future.
Really, just don’t bother. Reacher is pretty much in the background and Trent comes off snarky. Surprised the Reacher I know would tolerate it. Haven’t read any Slaughter, and won’t be either.
Why? Seriously, why? This was a complete waste of time and effort.
This is the 1st book I read by Karin Slaughter. This book’s storyline was okay. This book had a lot of cursing . The ending was okay.
Classic Reacher fiction with interesting links to reality in the Fort Knox angle.
Wow! This is a well-written, entertaining short story with two great mysteries packed into its limited number of pages. It can easily be read in one sitting. I have read and enjoyed many of Ms. Slaughter’s novels, and none of Mr. Child’s novels. I have now added Mr. Child’s “Killing Floor” to my TBR list, and expect it to be the start of a wonderful series.
I didn’t really care for this book. I’m not a Jack Reacher fan. That being said, the story was predictable and I found the characters quite boring. Sorry but I wouldn’t recommend this book.
I enjoyed this suspenseful and unique short story by two acclaimed mystery writers – Karin Slaughter (A personal favorite) and Lee Childs (new to me). The locale is Fort Knox, of all places! It is always good to see Slaughter’s lead character “Will Trent,” and it was a fresh idea to team him up with Childs’ s “Jack Reacher.” I won’t give away spoilers, but there were some surprises. I hope this is only the first of many team-ups of these four writers and characters.
Now am a Karin Slaughter fan, thanks to Lee Child. Will Trent is an interesting character. I enjoyed the little battle of wits between Will and Jack.
total wast of time. I love both authors so I had high hopes for this. disappointed
Enjoyable.
I love books by Karin Slaughter and her character Will Trent. This was a short story but I had a hard time getting into the story, then the story just seemed to come to an abrupt stop. I do look forward to reading the new Will Trent book The Last Widow.
Great book
Very good short story!
A great read for the summer.
A Jack Reacher short story to whet our appetites for the next Reacher novel — Blue Moon — to be released 10/29/19.
Great easy read with lots of action! Though Reacher is not encountered the writing and action and is similar to the Reacher novels and the tie to Reacher drives the story.
It’s a nice little co-written short story. I’ve read all of the Jack Reacher stuff before, so introducing a new character from a new author got me to go start reading the Will Trent series immediately.
