These characters grew on me and I seriously loved this series.
They started as enemies that have issues but tried to hide them behind a mask, then a newly-found friendship with a lot o chemistry that finally ended up with them living a beautiful love story.
There is drama as any final book in a series, a last test you could say, where they show their love for each other completely. The guys matured and we know they were super hot at beginning but we also get a more lovey-dovey sweet side from them. Something I also liked is that we can read both their POVs and experience their dubts and happy moments.
Overall, it was a great conclusion for this series. I can wait for their next collaboration and solo books.
Oh my conclusion! I knew the conclusion to Panther and Solo’s story was going to be amazing, I just didn’t realize HOW amazing. I love everything about these two. Their chemistry and connection is one of my favorite, so seeing these two make their relationship known? AMAZING. They had so many hurdles to overcome because of who they were and what they do for a profession. They weren’t expecting each other. They definitely weren’t prepared for their attraction to each other, but it made their story so much better.
This book, this book, this book. My heart leaps and melts and breaks and swells, and by the end is so full that I’m overflowing with all the feels.
So book three in the Elite trilogy, Classified, starts where Need for Speed left us on the edge of our seats. Solo and Panther are getting ready to enter the ball, and we all know it’s going to be a big damn deal. But that’s not the scene that got me. It’s the scene right after the ball when a drunk Panther, makes it home with Solo, and Solo asks him to dance. Gah, my freaking heart exploded.
You know I don’t want to give you too much, so I’m telling you, read these books. I love it when these two authors write together, and I can’t gush enough about how much I loved these books. Classified is the perfect ending.
Side note, if you’re an audible lover like me, please snag these books and take a listen. Aiden Snow is fantastic, he and Christian Fox own this narration.

Classified is the third and final book in the Elite series from Brooke Blaine and Ella Frank and holy swoon! Grant and Mateo have held me captive from page one of Danger Zone all the way to the last page of Classified. I loved the ending, but I’m so sad to see this series end. I can’t say enough good things about this series. As with any book by these two, there’s swoony heroes, lots of love, and allllll the steaminess. I highly recommend this series. Read it today.

It was everything I never dreamed about and never thought to hope for. I was a bit afraid of this book after the second – Need For Speed – because I was a bit dissappointed when I read that – but not this time!
Classified was perfect as it was. Panther and Solo were amazing and they fell more in love page after page – just as I was falling in love with them. They were just as sexy as you can imagine if it comes to Brooke and Ella’s books. Panther and Solo were so into each other.
Loved their relationship and loved their workspace too – and Whiplash and Houdini too. I was afraid of the ending, I couldn’t imagine who would come out on the TOP. Who will be the best of the best. And what after that? So there were so many questions, but Brooke and Ella answered everything so well.
The epilogue was more then perfect. And I was so so happy that Panther’s decision was what it was (working).
After all I really loved and enjoyed this series, Panther and Solo are unique and lovely characters. They were sexy, cute and real. Ella and Brooke never dissapoints with their men. Super sexy love story.
What a perfect and epic conclusion to Solo and Panther’s story! Blaine and Franks took these two to just a different level in Classified. This book was so much more than I thought it would be.
Mateo and Grant just took me for an emotional ride I wasn’t expecting. Everything about them in this book was just more! Emotions are higher, risk are higher, and feelings are deeper. Every moment in the first two books have been building to this.
I love the cocky, arrogant man Mateo is, but what I love more is the sweet, romantic guy Mateo is. I was just blown away with him in this book. His growth from the I don’t give a s**t guy he was to the one he is in Classified is amazing. Grant has always been the “by the book” one and to see him take the risk and go outside of the book was fantastic. These two not only grew as individuals but as a couple as well. Neither one of these men are the same ones that we met in the bar in book one.
Their journey wasn’t easy and it was messy but together they made each other better. Each brought out a side in the other they didn’t know they had.
Blaine and Frank could not have given us a better ending to Solo and Panther. Classified was angsty, tension filled and addicting. I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what happened next. These two authors delivered an amazing story with characters and writing to match.
5 elite stars for Classified and Blaine and Franks! These two delivered an absolute perfect journey from start to finish for Mateo and Grant. Each book in the The Elite was better than the last, with Classified being perfection! This is a must read!
A truly marvelous conclusion to this trilogy!! Solo and Panther had this push and pull throughout the series finally it came to head. In the story there was not a lot of drama on the relationship front but there was a whole bunch of drama surrounding their relationship and people’s opinion of it. Mateo doesn’t do relationships but Grant snuck inside his walls he kept around his heart. Will Mateo live up to his call sign and goes his separate way from Grant? Will Grant’s father drive an irreparable wedge into his son and Solo’s relationship? I can’t wait for another story by this dynamic duo!!
As soon as I reached the end of Need for Speed I started counting down the days until book three! I had to pick this one up as soon as it landed on my kindle and I finished reading it in one sitting. I loved getting to jump back into this world. I enjoyed this installment so so much!
“Panther” Grant and “Solo” Mateo’s story continues! I couldn’t wait to see what would happen next with these two.
With Classified and the other two The Elite books, Ms.Blaine and Ms.Frank have created such an awesome story!
*I volunteered to read and review a copy of this book from the authors*
This is the last book in the trilogy and the story picks up right where we left off. What a perfect way to end this trilogy!! I absolutely loved Solo and Panther’s journey from the first book!
“This man made me believe in words like love, forever, mine, and yours. I wanted to have, and be, all of that with him.”
Out of all three, this one is my favourite. Their chemistry is scorching. Every look, every touch, every kiss.
Solo had barreled into my life like a hurricane and made me fall head over heels for him, and with every minute we spent together, I got more caught up in his pull.
I loved the character development, from the need to win above all to releasing you just want your lover to be happy. I absolutely loved this series and highly recommend it! Best for binging!!!

GAH… I need more… This was the final book in the Elite series and it was amazing, I so didn’t want it to end! I love Panther & Solo, I’m so going to miss them. This book made my swoon, smile cry & laugh then end in happy tears. A Recommendation Series Read!
This trilogy has been such a blast to read, and while I’ve loved the other series that Brooke Blaine and Ella Frank have worked on together in the past, there was just something special about The Elite. In short, this trio of book lived up its name. This is also where I’m going to remind readers new to the series that the books need to be read in order–Danger Zone, Need for Speed, and Classified–because there is a continuing story with the same cast of characters led by United States Navy pilots Matteo Morgan (call sign: Solo) and Grant Hughes (call sign: Panther).
The pace was quick, the development on-point, the romance sweet and steamy, and the flying had me wishing I had a front-row seat to all the action. Matteo and Grant have come so far as both pilots and lovers, with realizations of just how committed they were to each other, followed only be their love of being in the cockpit. Naturally, getting to that happily-ever-after doesn’t come easily, but I’m glad Blaine and Frank don’t meander and add on unnecessary drama. I’m seriously going to miss our Solo and Panther. Le sigh. Five-plus stars for Classified.
This is book three in the trilogy and books one and two must be read before this one.
After the ending in book two, I couldn’t wait to see what was to become of this pair, taking the next step to be an official couple in front of everyone they know. There was a little anticipation with this build-up and I loved the honest feelings that came from them.
How great were their fellow pilots? I loved those relationships and that their work colleagues worked them up about being together (except Utah), showing the bond between them all. But what I loved most was the conclusion of who was the top Elite, something they have been competing for throughout the books.
Although this book shows growth between them as individuals I liked the turning point of their relationship when they both cared more about each other than where their careers were going to take them and were ready make some difficult decisions, Love and being together was their priority, very different from the beginning when they were set on achieving their own goals.
I liked the easy flow of the story, with only a little bump in the road. These men were everything, totally dreamy and I definitely swooned over them. Ella and Brooke are my favourite MM writers and I can’t wait to see what’s next!

I didn’t think I would fall more in love with Grant and Mateo, I was so wrong. These two made my heart beat so fast and this final installment? Damn my heart… I just melted, enthralled by their journey. I couldn’t put it down.
As their training coming to an end, the pressure to be on top of the class never felt so trickier as their relationship took another step higher.
Nothing would stop them for being the best of Elite and they would earn it.
There was something so special with these two, the hotshot who was trying so hard not to fall for the rebellious and arrogant guy who was his match in every way.
From being enemies to friends then to lovers, I enjoyed their journey as they lived their dreams, worked hard for it and fell in love along the way.
I was eager for every interaction, every look or touch, Grant and Mateo made me smile, swoon and get me emotional so many times I lost count.
They took that leap of faith and might have overcome some obstacles but it was worth the risk.
I could sense the switch in their relationship when they realized that it became that something more, vital like the air they breathed, feeling it in their whole being. This pull that turned more intense every time as they gave their hearts and soul to the other.
The intercourse was more than smoking hot and expressing with their bodies what they couldn’t express yet with words.
Outside the intimacy, their banter was showing how off the charts their chemistry was, raw and teasing, sweet and emotional at times.
They both faced their struggles and insecurities together even if it was hard to show that part of vulnerability. Challenging and supporting each other. Couple goals!
The authors managed to talk about something taboo in the military but brought about a genuine change in attitudes and behavior. The characters were focused on their job but knowing that people would judge about their lifestyle or sexual orientation and they proved that it wasn’t what defined them. They were so much more than that.
This was a story I adored to read. Passionate, captivating and thrilling. My head just spun with these two men with this intoxicating feeling.
I was just floating on cloud nine.
Action packed and so romantic at once. The two parts mixed perfectly.
This is definitely a story I will revisit in the future. Probably more than once. And these covers… so hot!!!
It was all building to this!
Classified was a fitting end to Panther and Solo’s story. We got a little angst, a teeny bit of drama, and a big ol’ helping of love.
I liked that we saw a different side to Solo in this book, even if it came at a slight cost. He’s always been so confident and sure of himself, to see him open and vulnerable was a nice change. Which kind of feels wrong to say, since he was hurting, but I stand by my comment! He and I didn’t see eye to eye in the beginning, so I’m happy he won me over!
Solo and Panther each came a long way during their time in The Elite, and I enjoyed being on the journey with them. For all their differences they were very much the same. Once all the obstacles were out of the way and they were free to be a couple, they were very loving. Which was a nice change from how things were between them in the beginning- when it was all back and forth, hot and heavy, with really only one thing on their minds. And you can guess what that one thing was!
I do wish this series had been a duet instead of a trilogy, though, if I’m being honest. At times it made it a little difficult to really feel the connection between Panther and Solo, especially in the beginning, with the way the story was broken up. Just when I’d start to feel some kind of way the story ended and I’d have to wait for the next one, and hope I’d get those feelings back. But this final book did give me the closure I was hoping for, for Panther and Solo. And the epilogue was so sweet, even if it did leave me wanting more!
*4-4,5 stars*
There are some stories that just grip you and never let you go. It was such a rollercoaster ride that will lead you to so many places. An end to the conclusion of Panther and Solo’s story and one you don’t want to miss out on!
Grant and Mateo aka Panther and Solo are embarking on a new adventure together; one that both never thought would be possible. With everyone competing for the top lead, it’s even harder for them to have their relationship and work closely together but somehow they are making it work. But doubt is creeping into Solo’s mind and it’s not easy to maintain his hope into the future. Even though both have come to love each other more deeply, there’s still something that seems to be standing in their way. Will things work out for both of them and will they have a future together?…
Holy moly, #5stars for Classified, the amazing conclusion of The Elite series!
OMG, I absolutely loved Solo and Panther’s relationship. Friends and lovers, and ridiculously talented pilots. They’re perfect for each other and I couldn’t wait to see just how their story ended.
And oh my what an ending! Don’t bother looking for any more details from me. #nospoilers
You need to read all three books to get their whole story, bur trust me, it’s worth the read from the first word to the last.
Finally the conclusion is here!
It was soo worth the wait.
Panther & Solo had my heart soaring to the skies with the love they have for one another.
This book is filled with soo much love and romance.
Be ready to swoon and just love the fact that these two men overcome their obstacles with feeling and finding love with each other.
I loved the outcome of their happily ever after.
Love is Love and that is exactly what this series will give you.
4.5 popped!
The best ending!! What a rollercoaster of a ride in fighter jets this story was. After all the turmoil, hiding and secrets, we finally get the best coming out party of the year. When graduation rolls around these guys both want the top spot, but it can only go to one of them, or can it? There is a lot of competition when it comes to the Navy Elite, throw in a Dad’s idle warnings, and the teams pitted against each other adds for just enough angst.
Loved this trilogy!
Classified is the third and final book in the Elite trilogy, which must be read in order. Brooke Blaine and Ella Frank are an amazing author duo who have managed again to write a seamless story of conflict and love between two Navy elite pilots.
Elite doesn’t adequately describe Panther and Solo!
These two hot shots are amazing at their day job and in the sack. When Panther’s father confronts Solo in a manner that has him questioning everything about his future. It doesn’t end well for the happy couple.
Like the old saying… absence makes the heart grow fonder, these two are just meant to be.
We’re back with Panther and Solo in the third and final book in the The Elite series. Feelings are running ever deeper for Panther and Solo but there’s obstacles in their way; they’re part of a crack team of fighter pilots—the best of the best in the US—so they don’t need any distractions and need to be fully on their game, and then some, then there’s Panther’s father, Commander Hughes who surely won’t take the news of his son’s burgeoning relationship with a peer, who’s male to boot, too well will he? (view spoiler) It probably couldn’t have come at a worse time, but love conquers all or so they say, and here, with Panther and Solo, you get the feeling that that might just ring true. What I enjoyed most about this story is that we got to see them both in their little bubble, really just enjoying the heck out of each other and see the growing respect they had for one other which was quite evident to see. There was teasing, plenty of white hot encounters (who needs the hot Californian sun when you’ve got these two around?) and just the simple joy of being in each other’s orbit. With so much against them, and will they have a chance at really exploring what’s between them or will they punch out? You’ll need to read it to find out, but I think this was a fitting finale for our two men.
