“He was everything I’d ever wanted, and never dreamed I could have.”
FINALLY!!! I needed this closure. I’ve loved Panther and Solo from the minute I met them, so it was no doubt that this final book was a necessary read! I know I am always bragging abut how well Ella and Brooke write together – I have never hid that love affair I have with them. But, I think it goes a step farther because I *know* that whenever they write a story, I am going to get a full story. One that has a rich history, a full background, some amazing characters (sure helps that they are sexy!!), and plenty of growth in those characters. It’s a well tuned machine between these two, and I can definitively say that I will read anything they write. I have been enamored by their words since I first read them, and once again – they gave me an ending worthy of a huge smile.
Instead of saying the same thing every time about how much I love Panther and Solo; how much they have made me smile; or how much their love melts my heart – I can’t say it enough. It’s just really easy to say that they honestly work for me. Their men are able to not only catch my attention, but they garner my emotions and my heart. They have an easy going perfection. Light enough to smile throughout, heavy enough to get emotional over, and swoony enough to melt.
I love reading vulnerability in a strong, alpha male. I love when I can feel the vulnerability shooting off the pages. The love these two shared was nothing short of amazing because in the industry they’re in, I cannot imagine the stress of the job alone, let alone coming out to everyone. I LOVED their story and I cannot recommend it enough.
“When I met you, you were this cocky pilot who couldn’t play well with others, and now –”
“I play well with you?”
Panther and Solo honestly turned me into a pile of goo. They melted my heart a bit, and the wonderful writing sure made it easy fall in love with yet another couple by this duo. But my favorite part was the moment when they let down their guard and actually allowed another person in. These were two very alpha, cocky males. They knew their place…their hierarchy, if you will. Top dogs, proving a point with a cocksure attitude. I loved that about them SO much. But when the inner workings of the emotions came out and reared their not-so-ugly heads, watching these men fall in love was seriously the swooniest – all the heart eyes. I loved them so so much.
These ladies are so smart and emotive with their words; extremely expressive. It did, however, take me a few minutes {{a couple of times}} to reconcile Solo and Panther’s soft side with their alpha side that was predominantly on display. It seemed out of character from when I was first meeting them and getting to know them, up until the end. It was just a personality shock to see these super macho, alpha assholes turn into mush around each other. But it was such a joy to see it all come together.
Panther and Solo’s own language of love came through effortlessly and it was easy to understand everything Ella and Brooke were spelling out for me – pain, inhibition, just the doubt these guys felt, allowing themselves to give in to those feelings that were so foreign to them. I loved watching them break down and come out and enjoy all they had coming to them.
There is nothing I love more than to settle into a storyline – a couple to fall in love with. Ella Frank and Brooke Blaine have delivered that consistently and meticulously. I love the ease in which their stories seems to be told. I never feel like I walk away with questions…..other than just wanting more of their men. I LOVE this duo. I am so glad I finally started reading them – I will always look forward to more!!
“Just when I thought I had the upper hand with him, he managed to take it right back.”

Brooke Blaine and Ella Frank are truly amazing authors, creating characters and stories you can’t help but become invested in. Panther and Solo finally got their HEA in this book after everything they have been through. They epilogue was so sweet and just perfect for these two. Love this series so much and hope we will see more of Panther and Solo in the future!
I could not begin to tell you how much I loved the way these two amazing authors brought this trilogy to a close. Each one of them is a powerhouse as a writer but bring them together and you have perfection.
This is book 3 of 3 in the Elite Trilogy. I was happy with the first two books but I loved every inch of this one so much! I adored this couple and won’t forget them anytime soon. Grant “Panther” Hughes said Mateo “Solo” Morgan are the best of the best as fighter pilots and perfect for each other. Solo, after losing his parents and his only sibling, learns he won’t be solo any more with Panther by his side. And Solo is exactly what Panther needs to show him it’s ok to let go a little and not hold on so tight.
My heart filled to overflowing as they took every obstacle coming their way and managed to succeed together, always, no matter if it was flying or their hearts. I usually love books high in angst. This book gave me so much heart and the perfect amount of angst to keep my attention.
So I will repeatedly exclaim I loved Panther and Solo, the world within the pages and even the other recruits at NAFTA! Every time Ella Frank and Brooke Blaine have written a series, I fell completely in love and now is absolutely no different.
I hate that the story of Panther and Solo came to an end but I have to admit, the story up until then…total fire! Their chemistry as a couple leapt off the pages.

The final book!
You NEED to have read books #1 & #2 to read this second one!
We start right where we left Solo & Panther in book #2.
They’re about to walk into the Gala … as a couple. In front of all those important military guys – and Panther’s dad.
And after that we’re trying to not screw up this new relationship – and even make a real serious permanent one out of it.
But what about their jobs once this whole Elite thing is over?? They’ll probably end up thousands of miles apart …
Great final book! I loved reading it!
These two are just adorable.
This book was so sweet and funny and sexy and sunny and Top Gunny.
… and happily ever endy???
READ IT!
I LOVED IT!
I also think that we might get a little epiloguey novella about those two one day!
ARC received for an honest review
Yaaaaas the final installment of the Elite series is here, and it was worth the wait!
At the end of Need for Speed, our lovelies were at a cross roads.Solo and Panther sure do know now to have a coming out part I don’t want to give anything away, however I love what happens at the start of this book.
Where can their relationship go? What is in store for them at the end of their “Top Gun” course?
For that you are going to have to read for yourself!
I also may or may not have had a tear in my eye as I was reading. This cannot be confirmed nor denied by me though lol
I loved being taken along with them as they forge their new relationship, dealing with outside influences, team mates, perceptions.
Throughout it all, I just adore Panther and Solo. Panther comes out of his shell, Solo seems to mature s much – he wasn’t really childish before (penises in the sky excepted) however his mouth was!
Sweet, sexy, fun and flirty, this made me want to watch Top Gun (even though I still haven’t forgiven them for Goose, and can not stand Tom Cruise!)
I would not say no to more of these characters in the future.
Wonderful ending for a trio books series. Highly recommended
I needed the conclusion to this so much I couldn’t even wait for the audiobook. Panther and Solo were an amazing couple that I just adored. They were cocky, arrogant, but caring and romantic as well. You need this series in your life.
That epilogue is what dreams are made of!!
*insert girly squeal here*
I flew through this trilogy so fast as I usually do with all of Ella Frank and Brooke Blaine’s books but this one, I think will always hold a special place in my heart. Yes, I know this is a work of fiction but even reading about a couple who can fall in love like that in the military and not got a whole lot of flak for it is really something. They did get their fair share of issues from Utah and even Panther’s Dad, but it was relatively tame compared to some stories I have heard. For that alone YES!!
With the way that Need for Speed ended I knew this story was going to go one or the other and I was so happy the way that they took it. Panther never felt right about letting Solo go the ball without him it wasn’t until he left that he knew he couldn’t do it without him. He was falling in love with him and as with everyone else at the ball he wanted to take the person he wanted, consequences be damned.
Mateo never saw it coming, Grant wanting to walk hand in hand with him into the ball where his father as well as their superiors would be but that is exactly what they did. As they grow closer together, they are becoming faced with the fear of what is going to happen after their training is over. They could end up 6,000 miles away from one another. Then what? Is every feeling they shared and every moment together going to be lost because of distance? Neither one of them are ready to face that fact just yet until Mateo is slapped in the face with it by Grant’s Dad.
Classified was a bit more on the heavy side compared to the previous two books because everything is leading up to this. It is leading up to the moment of either goodbye or figuring out a way to make things work no matter the future. As expected, Ella and Brooke gave us the perfect ending to Panther and Solo and I couldn’t be happier.
A fitting end to the trilogy
Book three gives us a fitting end to this trilogy. I throughly enjoyed all three books, binge reading them all in one long night! We get it all…emotions, action sequences, angst, and finally, a HEA. Strong recommend for a quick, light, fun read.
This was a nice wrap up to the series. Not quite as action packed or tension fueled as the first two, but that was almost a relief.
Really liked the characters. I especially appreciated the inclusion of a female character in the story. Yes, women can fly jets too…
The narration was a nice addition to the story.
Panther & Solo’s amazing story continues. I’m really not ready to let them go! Loved this whole series. Aiden & Christian fully deliver in their narration. So hot!
You’re worth the risk
I wasn’t sure what was pounding harder, my heart or my cock.
I have waited for the conclusion to this story for what seems like forever and now that I have it, I just want to read them all over again.
this man made me believe in words like love, forever, mine and yours.
The Panther and Solo who we met in the first chapter of the first book is nothing compared to the men they turn into by the end of this story and I believe they were meant to not only fly together in the sky but on the ground. They bring out the best in each other.
The sexy times get hotter in each book and a few characters will even surprise you a little!
i know for a fact he said that last line with a cheeky f-ing smirk on his face. Classified is even better than I hoped for. Brooke Blaine and Ella Frank have a knack for cocky alpha men and their well…
[clears throat] Seems I’m a suck…er for a good love story and I have zero shame. As soon as I saw Danger Zone (book 1) I knew I needed the set. Mateo and Grant are definitely going to heat up the sky, your ears, and eyes (depending on your method of reading). Enjoy the ride because it’s definitely entertaining, heartbreaking, and full of love.
Oh and of course its full of big, long…pencils too!
This final book in the trilogy was everything. From the highs to the lows, Mateo and Grant had a lot to work through in order to find their happily ever after. The Elite series is another fabulously written set of books by these two amazing authors.
Great conclusion to Panther and Solo’s story. Finishing on top, they get their much deserved HEA.
The conclusion of this series couldn’t have been better. There was so much personal growth in this book for both Mateo and Grant. I seriously loved their relationship so much and how they both rubbed off on each other. You could really see how much more restraint Mateo had and how much less straight laced Grant became. I could not put this book down unless necessary and when I had to I obsessed over it until I could pick it up again.
Omg!!! I loved this book. The love between Grant and Mateo was so palpable. To go thru the highs and lows with them was amazing. Never have I wanted two people to find their happiness when life is trying to keep them apart. As much as I hated that this book had to come to an end, it was very fitting for them. Sometimes we think we have life planned and then someone shows us that we weren’t living until they came into our lives. I can’t wait to see what else Brooke and Ella has in store for us.
Classified is the final book of The Elite series. It was the perfect end to a great series. The love these two share is phenomenal. The book shows how much Pather and Solo have grown and what they have overcome. The whole series is worth reading, but must be read in order. Definitely worthy of a re-read.
Loved! This ending was phenomenal, I could’ve use one or two more pages at the very end but I totally enjoyed it LOL
Panther and Solo, seeing how they finish up in the elite Academy and beyond. Acceptance from your peers and family. Loved this book! This couple is the best! This couple is one of my fave MM duos! L Lo
Highly recommend this series!
