This is a fun book. The Main Coon cat Diesel is the best part. I didn’t figure out the murderer until the end. Lots of stuff going on with different characters. Easy to pick up and start reading
These cats are the heroes and they our smart the humans. Why not!
Enjoyable read. Unlike Midnight Louie, the cat in this series isn’t the center of the plot or the detective, but a comfortable companion to his friend Charlie, the retired librarian.
A wonderful read on a day that I had nothing else to do. I look forward to reading more of this series. As I have a 300 book chanllenge this year I feel this series will help me achieve my goal. 🙂
This is a wonderful series!! I absolutely love Charlie and his family and friends and of course Diesel. Very engaging characters. I immediately got the next book when I finished this one!! I’m reading them all!
I have enjoyed all of the books I have read in this series!
It was an entertaining read. Perfect for a rainy day.
I liked it; I am partial to the Protagonist.
Charlie and his companion cat Deisel and an entertaining pair of characters. The series will be well worth my time if I can find the books at a bett r price. The author really knows cats and that just makes the book sing!
a lot of fun and interesting
Enjoyed it. Easy reading
I like the characters, especially the relationship between Charlie and Diesel. I makes me want a Maine Coon cat.
This is a southern cozy mystery involving a father and son. The boot is full of characters and their involvement with each other as well as the murder. The characters are very likable and enrich the story. I would reccomend the book and plan on reading more from this series myself.
Great characters, especially Diesel, the cat.
This series never disappoints
This is a wonderful series. I can never wait for the next one to be published. I can read this and still go to sleep at night.
I have loved all of the books in this series. The only problem I have with them is the depiction of Diesel on the covers. He’s a Maine Coon. Maine Coons are long haired cats.
Enjoyed the pet characters. Liked the family struggles with relationships and their resolution.
This is part of a series, and readers like me have become fond of Charlie, his big cat, and the extended family. I enjoy keeping up with the family problems, and pondering the mystery to be solved. Each book also presents a social issue to be discussed, in this case post part depression.
I love all her books!
