TAYLORI’m that poor little rich girl whose silver spoon was snatched right out of her pretty mouth.I lost everything. Now my everyday reality includes sleeping in my car and dining on whatever clearance food I can purchase with spare change. But my issues don’t end there. My nightmare family is hot on my heels and demanding something I don’t have. They won’t give up until I crack. And I’m just on the … until I crack.
And I’m just on the brink.
When I finally hit rock bottom I fall into the arms of an unlikely savior.
Kellan Gentry.
Brash and arrogant. Prince of the party scene. Notorious flirt.
The kind of guy who would break your heart with a shrug.
Falling for him makes no sense…
Right?
KELLAN
I used to be careless.
I used to be all about chasing trouble and good times.
But watching my own family go through hell changed everything.
Now I just want to stay on a steady path and make them proud.
Then along comes Taylor Briggs.
Two years ago we hooked up at a wild party and she’s hated me ever since.
She’s gorgeous and sarcastic. She’s wrapped in more secrets than I can guess.
And somehow the ground shifts underneath me.
In the clash between love and logic, there’s no mystery as to which one will win.
I’ve been warned about the complications. I’ve been warned we’ll get ripped to shreds.
I dare anyone to try.
There’s nothing I won’t do to protect this girl.
No matter what it costs me.
Enemies to friends to lovers. May be read as a stand alone.

Clash is book four in the spin-off series of Gentry Generations and is the story of Kellan Gentry and Taylor Briggs.
Taylor Briggs was a popular girl with money and a silver spoon back in the day. However her life has taken a turn for the worse and she is now finding out how tough life can really be.
Kellan Gentry is a party boy as well as a huge flirt. He wants something different in his life, a new direction perhaps.
Both of their lives change when Taylor literally falls into Kellan’s arms. I enjoyed the way Kellan and Taylor’s relationship progressed and that they are both willing to fight for one another.
This story was one heck of a roller coaster, but sadly – I didn’t think the story was that great until I was at 50% of the book. Don’t get me wrong, we readers do need some background and setting of the story, but damn that was a long 50% in. I’m glad I powered through this story as I love the Gentry’s and really was hoping for a HEA.
Thomas…..well my heart just hearts for him.
Cora Brent never disappoints. Read them all. They are beautiful, gritty, heart tugging and triumphant. Sexy with all the feels.
**Please note, I was given an ARC for each of these books for an honest review of them. These reviews are my own thoughts and feelings and I have had no financial compensation to provide these reviews to you**
Taylor’s dad commits suicide while out on bail for an indictment for a Ponzi Scheme and her whole world simply falls apart. With siblings (along with their spouses) who think she knows where a pile of money has been hidden, a bank account that she’s trying to fill so she no longer has to live in her car, and everything that comes with that, she’s at rock bottom and is just looking to catch a break.
Then she runs into Kellan, her one night stand from a year ago, and passes out at his feet. What else could go wrong? But Kellan is one of those genuinely good guys. He just wants to help Taylor get back on her feet (and maybe back in his bed), so he does what he can, which is far more than Taylor ever expected.
This book was totally refreshing in that neither main character have money. In fact, just the opposite. But they struggle through that together to get themselves where they need and want to be. Does Taylor have trust issues? Sure she does. Wouldn’t you if your father was a thief, you’re followed and watched by every agency who has initials that span the alphabet, your siblings only contact you because they think you know something you don’t, you’ve been used by previous relationships, and then you’re mugged?
But Kellan (and his family) are goals. They really do empower the golden rule. Even to the detriment of one of his brothers who may have his baseball career end before it even starts. There is a HEA, but boy do they have to work for it!
Wow! This was yet another amazing Gentry book Cora has graced us with!!
I dont think I will ever get enough of these Gentrys
Kellan and Taylor’s book was beyond amazing. This book from start to finish had me hooked! Their story was beautiful, real and just all around awesome! Loved them both and loved hearing from the rest of the fam too!! These two were meant for love together!
One click NOW you wont be disappointed Cant wait for the next one it’s going to be an amazing ride
Clash is a book from the Gentry Generations series by Cora Brent. It’s a stand alone, but if you are new to her, check out the other books in the series. Good reading plus characters appear across the books. The author puts us through a wide variety of emotions with this couple. Taylor and Kellan met years ago, but her life has changed dramatically since then. While life hasn’t been good to her, it’s actually made her a better person. When Kellan and Taylor come back into each others life, it’s under different entirely different circumstances than before. They reconnect as friends at first , but both Kellan and Taylor struggle with their feelings. As they explore a new relationship, external forces make things difficult and cause heartbreak for a family member
Clash is a book that will confirm why we love all things Gentry. Kellan will own your heart, make you laugh and have you swooning based on his big heart when it comes to Taylor. Taylor was the girl who had everything until she didn’t. Her strength and survival after such a terrible downfall was admirable and inspiring. Their story is emotional, passionate and at times heartbreaking. These two heat up the pages and will have your pulse racing. A captivating story that will at times fill you with dread as the drama unfolds but will have your heart overflowing with love from the ever increasing Gentry family. Kellan and Taylor were nothing short of perfection.
Clash by Cora Brent is book 4 in the Gentry Generations series. This is Kellan Gentry and Taylor Briggs’s story.
Kellan and Taylor had a slow burn/second chance at love type of relationship after their one night stand; the friends to lovers type of relationship is also there because when Kellan and Taylor came back into each other’s lives, they did it as friends. So this is a slow burn 2nd chance at love/friends to lovers. How Taylor came back into Kellan’s life after 2 years apart is emotionally charged and raw. She is not the same woman that she was 2 years ago…now she is full of secrets. Secrets that Kellan wants to delve into and get into the open.
Can they help one another out? Will they get the HEA that was missed out on 2 yeara ago?
The plot is fantastic, the feels and steam level fabulous and the chemistry is sizzling and sweet! I loved reading another Gentry story
My Rating: 4.5 stars *******
I absolutely loved this latest book in the Gentry Generations series!!! Kellan and Taylor were so good for each other. Taylor has been through hell the past couple of years….she is paying for her father’s mistakes that has nothing to do with her. All she wants is to be left alone. She lives in her car and deals with life the best way she knows how. Kellan has a chance encounter with Taylor several years past. When she stumbles back into his life unexpectedly he is thrown for a loop. The connection is still there burning bright, the feelings that she stirs in him are unfamiliar to him but totally welcome. Can they make something out of this connection they share or will Taylor’s past come back to ruin things again for her? This book was sooooo good, I was hooked from beginning to end. I loved everything about it and I can’t recommend this book enough to all. I can’t wait to read the next installment of this amazing series. Well done!
I always look forward to reading about the children of characters I love grown up and finding their own happy ever after and this is Kellan and Taylor’s story, these two are awesome and Kellan I want just for myself he is the perfect combination of sweet / alpha hole , and Taylor you love to see her finally get what she really needs in life.
Clash by Cora Brent is book 4 in the Gentry Generations Series. This is the story of Kellan Gentry and Taylor Briggs. I haven’t yet read the previous books so for me this was a standalone book.
Taylor and Kellan had a encounter a few years back but Taylor was a totally different person then. Now she has lost everything and is pretty much living in her car and looking for cheap food along with dogging what family she has. Kellan is a playboy but he also has a strong family with strong family ties so he does have some different standing than Taylor. Kellan really has a sad story now which Kellan won’t be able to walk away from.
Enjoyed their story and hope to go back soon to read the previous books.
The Gentry boys continue to be some of the greatest book boyfriends ever written. We’ve come a long way from the triplets, but this gene pool holds STRONG.
Kellan is a genuine nice guy. Good person, handsome and smart. How could you not fall in love with him? Any of them for that matter. Taylor has been handed a crap sandwich by life and is having a TOUGH time. Her family is garbage, she’s homeless and just struggling. Their one-time hookup past leaves the door open for a friendship she desperately needs now that they are both very different people.
I loved this story, even the painful parts. It’s always nice for a Gentry to find his fated mate and to witness the dance that has to happen for both parties to come to terms with it. This family, these men, are just so entertaining and swoony! Gentry fan for life!
So, I’ve been pretty addicted to the Gentrys for a while. As in years. And every single book I always find myself falling right back in love with this family, but Clash…Clash is a whole new kind of love for me. This may be my favorite book Cora Brent has ever written. I was entirely glued to this book, devouring it in just a couple hours because I didn’t want to put it down.
Kellan is everything that makes the Gentry men so magnificent multiplied by a thousand. Protective while still being respectful, so incredibly kind, and undeniably hot the man is #bookboyfriendgoals! And Taylor? She’s even more incredible. Her heartbreaking past and dramatic life changes forcing her to grow into a woman that is an entirely new person.
These two have a slow burn that keeps you hooked and has you falling in love right along with them. Their chemistry is off the charts and continues to just grow into something beautiful beyond words with every page.
Another great Gentry book by a Cora Brent. This family is special and this series just works for me. This book in particular I found quite enjoyable. These two made a great match and I liked seeing their development throughout the book. I also loved seeing more of Kellan’s brother Thomas in this book and I can’t wait for his story next.
Clash takes the Gentry Generations series to a whole new level. Kellan and Taylor’s story was fresh and unpredictable in the best of ways. Kellan Gentry has a personality to match his father’s that made me smile. Taylor’s struggles moved me to sadness while subtly raising awareness of things we humans so often choose to ignore. Rounding out this book, the well developed and beloved characters, that make up the Gentry clan, gave me the warm sense of family that has been the heart and bones of this series since the start. I cannot wait for Thomas’s upcoming story and the brilliant story telling Cora Brent no doubt has in store for readers. 5 stars
Let me go on record again to say I LOVE THE GENTRYS. I’ll take any book that throws me back into that family. I absolutely adored this story. Kellan made me swoon the entire way through, where can I find my own version of him? A slow burn that made me laugh and got me flustered with the sexy times. I’ve come to expect nothing less from anyone in this clan. A story about finding one’s self after literally hitting rock bottom. Oh Taylor, honey you had my virtual hand every step of the way. Such a great read.
**RECEIVED ARC FOR HONEST REVIEW**
I have got to say the Gentry brood is getting bigger and bigger. The men are sexy and live by morals and ethics that show they were raised to know wrong from right, how to give and earn respect, and love. Above everything…love.
I liked how Taylor went from rich girl to poor little match girl and she redeemed herself by showing how humble and thankful she can be and is for all she has in life. As for Kellan, as a Gentry he already has a sense of humility and honor. That is what makes the Gentry clan awesome; their relationships with each other. It doesn’t matter how much they fight, they are family and love with all they have and will always have each other’s back.
/The characters and story are engaging. The book was steamy and sexy. I really enjoyed it and recommend you add it to your reading list.
I loved this book. It was very easy to get swept up into Taylor and Kellen’s romance. A powerful one, two punch of sizzling chemistry and deep emotions help create an engaging and moving read. Taylor will make you feel for her, while also admiring her for her determination and resilience. Kellen was 100% pure Gentry. Which if you don’t know means he is hot, charming and totally swoon worthy. This slow simmering, friends to lovers tale will steal your heart and leave you with a burning desire for much more from this series.
I loved this slow burn/second chance love story. The interaction between Kellan and Taylor was great, they had brilliant banter. I really enjoyed this book.
Oh Kellen Kellen Kellen!
This book drew me in from the first page.
The dynamic between Kellen and Taylor is amazing.
My heart broke for Taylor at times, but I was glad she had the Gentry gang (especially Kellen) in her corner.
What are you waiting for, READ this book!
This is a standalone within the “Gentry Generations” series.
This is the story of Kellan and Taylor. What I loved most about this book was the will they won’t they tug of war. The angst in this story was palpable.
Kellan, like all the Gentry’s, is charming, smooth and a bit of a playboy.
Taylor has been beaten down constantly. Life hasn’t given her a break. She is strong, fierce and moral.
These two had an encounter in the past and by chance meet again. Their chemistry was scorching!
This story is filled with emotions. It tugs at your hearstrings, forcing you to root for the two characters. I loved how other characters from different series made an appearance.
The writing was spot on. The intricacies in this world are like nothing I’ve ever read before. Ms. Brent always delivers a heartfelt and emotional story.
