From reading One Last Snowy Christmas, I knew that I would just fall in love with the characters in this series more and more.
This story is unexpectedly told through Kinsley’s POV, but it definitely doesn’t take away from the story at all.
With a pretty good little mystery mixed it, that took me far to long to piece together, it was a nice, refreshing story.
I own several books written by AF Crowell but had yet to read one until Claiming Cooper. The blurbs are always enticing and I finally settled down and started to read. I couldn’t have chosen a better first book or a better time to read than this one.
Claiming Cooper is a beautiful love story that shows the many facets of love. New love, unrequited love, all encompassing love, and heart-breaking love. This one brought out all the feels–lots of smiles, lots of tears, some super steaminess, along with a little suspense. I was never bored and made some new BBF’s.
The love journey between Cooper and Kinsley was a perfectly paced romance story. The guiding words they get from their experienced parents made me grab my heart and squeeze. Cooper has his reasons for holding back his feelings for Kinsley and they are commendable but things get heated when Kinsley gets to the point where enough is enough and takes matters info her own hands. She is a bold feisty character and I loved these two together.
The side stories and characters made this the perfect book, chalked full of yummy male goodness at every corner, lessons in love, and crazy exes to keep things interesting. This one basically left me wanting a Cooper of my very own.
I’m definitely on team Crowell now and look forward to my next book by her.
What an emotional continuation of the O’Loughlin boys and their love and friendship with Kinsley. Kinsley has returned from College before graduation. She wants to forget that night and everything about it, but it’s hard when you have the external and internal scares haunting you day in and out. The only place that allows her to forget for a just a little while is the O’Loughlin stables, riding the horses and time with Cooper. A now divorced man, Cooper is free to be with whomever he wants. Kinsley would love that to be her, but Cooper would never do that to his brother Ash. As time passes, Kinsley slowly starts to heal with the help of Ash, her friend Anna and Cooper. However, someone doesn’t want her to forget what happened that night and soon Kinsley finds herself looking over her shoulder, even in the safety of her friends and hometown. An unfortunate accident leaves Kinsley wounded and at the mercy of Cooper. With Ash and Anna slowly developing a relationship, Kinsley finally goes for what she wants, and that is Cooper. Will Cooper finally give in and allow himself to be happy with Kinsley? Who is the person responsible for threatening Kinsley? Will all of Kinsley’s dreams and wishes finally come true?
Claiming Cooper is a rich story filled with devotion, friendship, love, tragedy, mystery and happily ever afters. I can’t get enough of the O’Loughlin boys and how important family is to them and the sacrifices and devotion they have for their family and friends, especially Kinsley. I cried, laughed, rejoiced and swooned throughout the book. AF Crowell did an extraordinary job in making the characters real and lovable. I couldn’t get enough of this crush to love romance. I can’t wait for Ash and Storm’s stories…I know AF won’t disappoint.
OMG I absolutely LOVED this book! This entire family pulls you in and makes you love them all. Kens and Cooper have this amazing tension, this build up between them that kept me flipping pages! There is sadness, there is heat, there is a danger that swirls that kept me on my toes. This is a great story and I cannot wait for more of this series!!
I couldn’t wait to start this series! Kinsley Allen aka Lizzy or Princess has always had a crush on Cooper. Will Cooper keep turning her down?
Claiming Cooper was a wonderfully written story that had lots of feels. I was happy, sad-yes some tears ran down my face so have some tissues nearby and wondering what was going to happen. All the characters in this book are detailed and it feels like you are right there with them.
I read this book in one sitting that’s how amazing it is!!
“I’m your ride tonight, sugar.”
One of my favorite parts of this story where they all were sitting down and taking turns what they are thankful for.
I’d recommend this book to others!

Kinsley has been friends with the O’Loughlin boys since they were children and best friends with Ashton the youngest. She is part of the family and has always felt safe around them. That being said she has had feelings for middle brother Cooper for just as long. Cooper has always been out of reach even more so when he got married. Kinsley left home for college she returned home after the unspeakable happens to her a week before graduating. Now back home reuniting with her and the O’Loughlin families she now has a chance to put the past behind her and concentrate on whats in front of her including the now single Cooper.
Cooper has always thought Kinsley was beautiful and feels protective of her. His brother Ashton has always like Kinsley so Cooper never acted on his feelings, but now Kinsley is home again and someone is going after her so his instinct to protect her is in overdrive as well as the feelings he has been trying hide. Can he finally act on those feelings?
I have loved AF Crowell’s books from the start and I have to say Claiming Cooper is by far her best one yet. The story is fast-paced with great dialog between the characters and such a rich history. Told in dual POV’s we get both sides of this love story which I love. The other thing that Ms Crowell does well is evoking emotions from the readers – I was driven to wanted to yell, cry and laugh with these well written characters. We also get a glimpse into Ashton and Anna (Kinsley’s best friend) as their romance just is getting started, a romance I am very excited about.
This book was great! I am so looking forward to the next book already.
Kinsley came back home after a world of hurt. She isn’t letting anyone in on what happened. That is until her BFF Anna spills the beans. Kinsley can’t help but feel the other show is still to fall.
Cooper is the man of her dreams…for years. Can Kinsley finally get Cooper to admit his feelings or will he break her heart? Will Cooper be able to help Kinsley get past what happened?
Loved the book! Would love more soon 😉
After being introduced to the O’Loughlin brothers in One Last Snowy Christmas, I was intrigued about this family, as well as this new to me author. After reading Cooper and Kinsley’s story, I have to say, I think I’ve found another one-click author!
Cooper is a conflicted character. He knows what he wants, and has for a long time, but feels like he can’t have it. He puts everyone else’s wants and needs ahead of his own, and in the process, almost destroys the one that means the most to him.
Kinsley is a newly graduated college student, that runs home after a traumatic event. Unfortunately, what waits her at home, is almost as bad as what she ran from.
Lots of laughs, tears, and a scary mystery (or two!) kept this book moving, while solid character development and an interesting plot line created a world that I couldn’t help but feel invested in. I can’t wait to read the next book!

Cooper and Kingsley… this is their story of coming together and reaching for their HEA! Elizabeth @ White Hot Reads
Cooper is a hard headed, brooding, protective, sexy cowboy and he is in love with Kingsley. Can Cooper overcome all the obstacles in his way to get the woman that he loves? Kingsley doesn’t see the obstacles, only the darkness that has followed her. Why would anyone want to be with her when trouble seems to follow? One night at college gone bad and she is running home, laying low and keeping the secrets of that night close.
I read this story in one night… as in it was so good I didn’t sleep but had to find out what happend. AF Crowell is putting out another great series and this one has sexy cowboys!! YES!!!!
