Opposites attract in the third Ace Security novel from New York Times bestselling author Susan Stoker.Bailey Hampton will do whatever it takes to keep both herself and her little brother safe from the vicious Inca Boyz gang. Hiding out in Castle Rock, Colorado, is only a temporary solution until she can earn enough money to get out of the state altogether. But when she meets handsome security … meets handsome security nerd Nathan Anderson, she discovers a reason to stay and fight for what she wants.
Ace Security’s Nathan Anderson has always been the “numbers guy,” not the man any of the firm’s clients look to when their safety is threatened. But from the first time he ran into Bailey, she never made him feel like less of a protector than his brothers. Nathan was attracted to the petite, black-haired pixie with wild tattoos from the start, and by some miracle, she seems to return his interest.
But danger stalks Bailey and her brother, so it’s up to Nathan to channel his inner alpha and find a way to end the threat to their lives once and for all—and he’s not giving up Bailey without a fight.

Exhilarating!! I love this story because it kept me engaged right up to the ending which was fantastic!! Bailey is a strong, independent woman who is running from the gang and it’s leader, her ex, in order to protect her 10yr. old brother and keep him out of the gang. Nathan Anderson has been searching for Bailey in order to protect her from the gang leader he knows is after her. Nathan finds Bailey in a chance meeting and the excitement begins! This story has it all, edge of your seat excitement and intrigue and a beautiful developing romance. Highly recommended if your a romantic suspense fan and want to bury yourself and escape for a little while.
Susan Stoker has never been one to shy away from controversial topics in her romance suspense novels. Her handling of siblings trying to escape gang life and it’s nightmare effect on their mental health, once again shows why she is on the bestsellers list!
Claiming Bailey is a non-stop thrill ride, balanced with some of the most tender romantic moments a romance nerd like myself could ever hope to find. Introducing the third Anderson triplet, Ace Securities number nerd, Nathan, Susan creates another “cracked soul” whose tender demeanor had me falling in love on page one. Pairing him with the elusive Bailey, the ex- girlfriend of notorious Inca Boys gang President, was both unexpected and brillant! For these two unlikely people to have so much in common emotionally, brought tears to my eyes. And the story involving their escape from the menacing Donavan, the gang leader had me holding my breath, gripping the edge of my chair and glued to every word Susan wrote, from start to finish. There was so much excitement crammed into this novel, I am surprised I didn’t explode before I finished it! Move over Nora Roberts, Danielle Steele and my other fave romance writers, Susan Stoker has earned her place on my romance bookshelf!
Spectacular story
Claiming Bailey is the next book in the Ace Security series and focuses on Nathan, the Anderson brother also known as the genius amongst them and his obsession with finding Bailey, the ex-girlfriend of Donovan, the gang leader
Even though Ace Security usually deals with cases of abuse, this one was more of the consequences and aftermath of the abuse and working towards those stages of healing for both Bailey and her brother Joel
An absolutely amazing, beautiful story by Susan which endeared this couple to me and the ending which has set me down a path of intrigue to find out what the heck is now going on with Felicity
“Claiming Bailey” is the third book in the Ace Security series and this series just keeps getting better. This is the story of Nathan Anderson, he is the nerd of the family, a very lovable, number loving nerd. Bailey Hampton is in trouble, a gang is after her and she cannot let them catch up to her because of her little brother, Joel.
This is a great addition to the series and I loved how both Bailey and Nathan are unsure of themselves.
There is a lot of suspense and action in this book and it will have you flipping the pages to the very end.
Five “Pixie” stars for this one.
I absolutely adored Nathan Anderson. The quiet man that Susan Stoker created was awesome and inspired. He knows that Bailey is his one but if all he can ever be is her friend that’s what will happen. His interactions with Bailey’s brother Joel tugged at my heartstrings. Bailey is no doubt a survivor but all she sees are her inadequacies and flaws. Nathan slowly builds her self confidence with affirmations, care and concern about her well being. He never gives up in his efforts to win her over even as they must plan for the day that danger finally catches up with her. It’s not a matter of if but when.
Bailey and Nathan are an unlikely couple. Bailey comes with a background of gang life such that it is. Nathan is a reserved, quiet man who’s family background is one of abuse. At this time in their lives, they are just what each other needs. Nathan is also just what Joel, Bailey’s little brother needs as well.
Erin Bennett did a fantastic job once again.
Awesome Author. Awesome Book. Need to read all of her books. They are all HEA.
OK. Although it seems that large portions were mailed in. I have really enjoyed Stokers books, but the latest ones seem to be on autopilot.
This story was heart breaking. Not only did Bailey suffer, so did herror little brother. This Anderson , I think, was the strongest. He loves her and her her brother so very much. Great story.
Bailey is a tough, strong heroine. She is the former girlfriend of a gang leader and looks the part with all her tattoos. Working as a mechanic, she is trying to make a better life for herself and her brother Joel.
Nathan is the nerdy Anderson brother of Ace Security. He is more the “numbers” guy and not the rough and tough, out in the field guy. But when things “hit the fan” Nathan steps up and keeps Bailey and Joel safe.
“You deserve more. Don’t fall for me,” Bailey warned him.
“Too late,” was Nathan’s whispered response.
Claiming Bailey might be my new favorite book by this author! I love the nerdy hero!
-5 Stars!-
Safety
Nathan & Alexis have been looking for Bailey because they are worried about her safety from the Inca Boyz. Little did they know she was right under their noses in Castle Rock. She ended up helping Nathan with his car in the parking lot of the market. Nathan always felt he was the geek of the triplets but something about Bailey hit him in the guy that he could come to love her, and especially wanted to take care of her & her little brother Joel.
I don’t know what to make out of this one. It’s definitely something different than the other books by Susan. The story is a nice one but I didn’t get in it. Nathan seems a little to clingy and awkward, trying too hard to get to Bailey. Unfortunately not my most favourite book by this author.
4 Stars
I purchased a copy of Claiming Bailey (Ace Security Book 3)by Susan Stoker and this review was given freely.
An opposites attract and attraction at first sight romance. Coincidence places Nathan in the same place as Bailey, the ex-girlfriend to the Inca Boyz’ leader that he has been searching for for months. Nathan’s gentle and caring character help both Bailey and her 9 year brother to heal while making the Anderson family and Ace Security an even bigger target for the Inca Boyz’ revenge. Susan Stoker continues the series with books written in a style that reflect the main male character. Although there is some suspense, this novel is calmer and at times corny or dorky as reflective of Nathan’s nerd personality and Joel’s evolution to being a “normal” boy. Wonderful characters, the birth of the twins, and the close caring relationships between the three brothers and there friends make this a heartwarming book with some steamy love scenes and a brief violent scene at the end and gripping hooks at the end.
Best if read in order in series. Recommend age 18+
I read and listened to this book and this may be my favorite of the Ace Security series. Nathan is the opposite of his big burly brothers. More brains than brawn, he still doesn’t shy away from helping those in abusive situations. While he may be the nerd of the bunch, when he finds the woman that’s meant to be his, his inner alpha makes a big appearance. Bailey is on the run from a gang she was unfortunate enough to be tangled up with. To save her younger brother, she ran and ended up in Castle Rock in a parking lot aiding the nerdy Anderson brother. Their story revolves around the head of the gang coming for her and Bailey and Nathan’s budding relationship. But it is also about the growth of Bailey as she come into her own. I am never disappointed in Susan’s Stoker’s books. This series is one of my very favorites of hers and the audio version is done so well, I love listening as I drive. On to the next book in the series.
Great Story the best in the series
What if what you did as a teenager is not what you want now that you’re adult and raising your little brother? Bailey was able to take her brother and run away from the Inca Boyz Gang before they can get their claws into her brother. She settles into Castle Rock , finds a job as a mechanic and hopes she’s escaped in time to save her brother, Joel.
Nathan Anderson is the self proclaimed computer nerd of Ace Security and meets Bailey when his car Marilyn give up the ghost. She helps him get her started but he’s been hit hard by Cupid’s arrow even though he knows she wouldn’t feel the same about him. When the brothers find out that Donovan has been released from prison early and go into protection mode to give Bailey and Joel the security they will need. When Donovan finds them it will take Nate, Bailey and Joel safe while taking out the leader of Inca Boyz Leader.
Bailey wants to give Joel a better life than she had growing up after her father passed away. When she gets to Castle Rock and finds a job with Clayson’s Auto Body as a mechanic little does she realize that she will gain the family she craves from the guys there. When she meets Nathan she doesn’t realize that Ace Security helped put Donovan away and that Nathan will do everything to protect her and Joel. Can they both find love and keep the gang away from Joel?
There’s a teaser at the end that will have you saying hmm..I didn’t see that coming and will set up the final book with Felicity and Ryder’s story.
I always enjoy the “romantic rescue” type books. This one had a bit of a different twist (seemingly bad girl hooks up with good boy), but I still enjoyed it. I can’t wait to read more!
I loved them all but this one especially because it dealt with normal people. Not just hunks and babes. Nathan and Bailey were just every day normal people and I loved them both! Read them all, you’ll love them!
Bailey was introduced in the previous book and I couldn’t wait to see more of this feisty lady! She is on the run from her former life as girlfriend of the Inca Boyz leader. She was more like his sex slave and when she realised that he had eyes on making her young brother a gang member, she took Joel and fled.
Nathan has been looking for Bailey for months. He has been intrigued by this former gangsters girl and when he inadvertently meets her, when she helps him repair his crappy car, he is further sucked into the injured soul that is Bailey. He knows he isn’t the strongest of his brothers or the toughest but he is the smartest and he can see that Bailey has suffered at the gangs hands. She is rightly frightened of them finding her and Joel and will do everything he can to save them.
Nathan single handedly makes Nerds cool! He is sweet but when he finally relaxes around Bailey his little Alpha core blooms! He is the strong, sensitive, father figure that Joel needs to back him up and the tender but determined lover that Bailey needs. His response to “that” tattoo is awesome and I love that he gets his points across to Joel without shouting, swearing or raising his fists.
Bailey is not as alone as she thinks, the boys at the garage are like surrogate brothers, if she would just let them in more. Nathan and Bailey may not fall into bed as fast as some lead couples but that blends well with both of their histories and perceived failings. Nathan may be a self confessed dork but he is a fast learner and Bailey is a willing teacher!
I loved the ending it was just so Bailey/Nathan!
Blessed are the geeks, for they are constantly underestimated. The conversation on the hillside between Nathan nand Joel should be required reading for every boy. Susan Stoker creates the alpha male gentleman with ease in all of her books. I’m binging this serie. One more to go!
There was many aspects of this book I really enjoyed.
To me the roles in the book was reverse to some extent. Bailey was the harder person and Nathan was the kind, nerdy unsure of himself person. It was very interesting to read this because most of the books I read the male is very alpha. It was a nice change of pace.
I really liked Bailey. She was tough but not too tough. She had been through a lot and was trying to make the best of a bad situation. She was trying to take care of her brother the best way she can and to keep him safe. I liked reading about her insecurities because it made me feel for her more.
I adored Nathan in this book. He was the “smart” one of the three Anderson boys and he was the smallest. He tried to hide the hurt of this by talking or joking about himself in a unflattering way but I liked that Bailey was able to see through this.
I admired the lengths Nathan would go to protect Bailey from the outside world but also from her world. How he was with her brother to not pushing for a relationship with her even though he desperately wanted one. He was patient with her and her brother. This is what made him a truly amazing man.
