After saving Earth from the threat of invasion … threat of invasion they demand a reward—the right to find brides among the population. If she can keep from having bonding sex with him during that time, she can go home and get on with her life on Earth.
But Baird isn’t going to make it easy for her. Every week he is allowed to touch Liv more and more intimately and according to the contract she signed, she has to let him. There was a lot of gratuitous sex. I don’t mind sexuality if it helps the plot along, but in this case it did not.
Predictable.
So bad in every way, I can’t even begin…
No storyline, just porn.
Blah. She whines, he pouts. Repeat.
I think this is one of those books where someone writes their fantasies and gets it published. The world is extremely complimentary towards women and gives them power. There wasn’t a lot of plot besides the seduction.
Claimed had me on page one with the word, “Mine.” Mine is right Baird. As in I’m your’s! He was the perfect balance between dominance and lenience. Hasty and patience. Gentle and rough. Affectionate and merciless. Plus, he worshiped her damn body! How many other men have you read about that massaged a woman’s body for hours without asking for …
The female character was tiresome and whiny, I started skipping pages half way through the book.
This book was absolutely predictable, but I couldn’t stop reading it! It was the Kindred!
The author did a fabulous job of reining in gratuitous erotica, yet, delivering every woman’s fantasy lover, in three tasty choices! Everything about the Kindred and their world captivated me, and I just wanted more and more. This book really did take …
This is a really entertaining read. I also like the unique world of the Kindred my only issue I had was with Olivia she was such and annoying and frustrating characters. I’m all for strong and fierce female heroine but her indecisiveness was driving me crazy. She was also selfish, immature, and unwilling to compromise with her husband Baird who …
Loved it.
Although it started a little slow, after a few chapters I became enthralled by the world Olivia is in. The details of each Kindred were interesting, and Baird himself was an interesting character. Any Sci-Fi fan should read this at least once!
OMG! I loved the book! This was my first Sci-Fi/Erotica novel and it was amazing. The descriptions of the characters and the settings were so vivid and clear. And the intimate scenes between main characters and the way that male lead interacts with her…Let’s just say I often had to put the novel down and fan myself or cover the bottom half of my …
I loved this book and the world Ms. Anderson created. I have purchased several more in the series.
I really liked the book there were some parts in it that seemed long in the story. However all in all a great book.
Interesting read
This was the most unique book I have ever read in this genre. I was captivated by the world the author created. The people, their customs were creative genius! I have now purchased the second book in the series and am half way through. I hope there are many more to come!!
Entertaining
I just could not get into the story was very confusing to me
I was hooked on this book from the minute I started reading it. The storyline and characters are amazing, the sex is out of this world and the romance made me just sigh….so good! Can’t wait to start the next book in the series.
