Brides of the Kindred Book One—Claimed Olivia Waterhouse has just graduated from nursing school and has her whole life ahead of her—until she gets drafted. Problem is, she isn’t being forced into the Army, she’s been chosen as a Kindred bride. The Kindred are huge alien warriors—a race of genetic traders whose population is ninety-five percent male. After saving Earth from the threat of invasion … threat of invasion they demand a reward—the right to find brides among the population. The chances of being chosen are about the same as those of winning the lottery—guess it’s just Liv’s lucky day.
Baird is a Beast Kindred who recently escaped imprisonment and torture at the hands of the malevolent Scourge. Through the torment and pain only one thing kept him sane—the thought of finding and claiming his bride—Olivia. His need to possess her is a burning intensity that threatens to consume them both.
Angry at having her future and her family taken away from her, Liv vows to fight back the only way she can—by resisting. She has one month on the Kindred Mothership with Baird—their claiming period. If she can keep from having bonding sex with him during that time, she can go home and get on with her life on Earth.
But Baird isn’t going to make it easy for her. Every week he is allowed to touch Liv more and more intimately and according to the contract she signed, she has to let him. She’s determined to resist him but his touch sets her on fire. And just as she thinks she knows what she wants, a twist of fate and an attack by the faceless Scourge AllFather changes everything…

This is part of a series and I love the characters they build through each story.
I must admit when I started reading this book I hated it and thought I wouldn’t like it but as I read it there is our bride Olivia. Her groom Baird. He loves her, puts her needs first, cooks for her, and sexually satisfies her before himself. And she doesn’t want in this relationship. This guy is every woman’s dream! I enjoyed the book and …
I recommend the whole series, each book has its own HEA
This book “Claimed” got me hooked Me on on Evanligeline Anderson I have almost all her books and it is my goal to have all of them, Thank you for many many hours of wonderful entertantment
Steamy alien hunks. So apparently Earth has been threatened by nasty aliens, the Scourge, and these other hunky aliens, the Kindred, have saved us, but in return they want the right to find brides within the human population. Apparently due to some flaw, their women have all but died out and they need to repopulate to save their species. So our …
Entertaining enough, but not sure I connected enough with the characters to read the next one in the series.
STEAMY! I didn’t know I selected a sexy, taudry read. The premise is crazy and unique which leads to a few fun situations. Adding to my review – I read the next two books in the series… crazy good series! I love the character builds, the world is amazing and Ms Anderson’s ability to pull you in and make you care about the characters is …
This came across as a free ebook so I thought why not. It’s very different than what I usually read but I’m glad I did! It’s erotica but not raunchy. There was a couple of parts I had to roll my eyes and think to myself ‘really?’ like in the beginning when she was first taken and she was in a see through nighty on but she got to see her sister one …
Ok book to read
Claimed
Brides of the Kindred book 1
Alien Warrior BBW Science Fiction Paranormal Romance
Evangeline Anderson
This was a wonderful book. I loved the chemistry between the characters. They were great together. They storyline was fun, and engaging. I didn’t want to stop reading.
I was in the mood for a little sci-fantasy and decided to give this author a try, the story looked like it would light and fun and hopefully be a bit better than the last alien bride story I read.
Unfortunately this turned out to be another story that says if the female wanted to avoid becoming a bride they could have gotten married and …
This book will make you want to read the others in the series. It was fantastic and I fell in love with it.
This was a good story, however Olivia was annoying as hell to me. I was at the point of giving up on this story because of that alone. Although the chemistry was really there I just had to get through this book. Now after reading this story I want to see what the next story entails and would the sister be the exact same.
Very well written. I HAVE purchased three books by this author and looking forward to the next.
Great first book in Brides of the Kindred series. I couldn’t put it down!
I really do love this book, especially Baird. However, there were some issues with the plot making sense logically. But it sucks you in regardless.
Excellent story. Loved the characters and the plot twists. Great summer read!
First alien book I’ve ever read- Story was original. Weird but ok- I liked the characters & may buy the next one in series- Sex was little in your face so be prepared for that
Not a huge fan of this series…but I wanted to be.
Ok-ish. But that’s it. I had so much hope for this book and the series as a whole – I really liked the basic plot. However, I just found the relationships between the women to be overkill. I have two sisters – and two best friends for over 20 years, and so I get the girl bond – but I just don’t …
Took too long to get to the point, very repetative.
