Brides of the Kindred Book One—Claimed Olivia Waterhouse has just graduated from nursing school and has her whole life ahead of her—until she gets drafted. Problem is, she isn’t being forced into the Army, she’s been chosen as a Kindred bride. The Kindred are huge alien warriors—a race of genetic traders whose population is ninety-five percent male. After saving Earth from the threat of invasion … threat of invasion they demand a reward—the right to find brides among the population. The chances of being chosen are about the same as those of winning the lottery—guess it’s just Liv’s lucky day.
Baird is a Beast Kindred who recently escaped imprisonment and torture at the hands of the malevolent Scourge. Through the torment and pain only one thing kept him sane—the thought of finding and claiming his bride—Olivia. His need to possess her is a burning intensity that threatens to consume them both.
Angry at having her future and her family taken away from her, Liv vows to fight back the only way she can—by resisting. She has one month on the Kindred Mothership with Baird—their claiming period. If she can keep from having bonding sex with him during that time, she can go home and get on with her life on Earth.
But Baird isn’t going to make it easy for her. Every week he is allowed to touch Liv more and more intimately and according to the contract she signed, she has to let him. She’s determined to resist him but his touch sets her on fire. And just as she thinks she knows what she wants, a twist of fate and an attack by the faceless Scourge AllFather changes everything…

Claimed is book one in the Brides of the Kindred series by Evangeline Anderson.
Anderson has created a unique and interesting world. The detailed description of the different Kindred races gave me an understand of who they are and what their expectations are for their bond mates.
Baird is a Beast Kindred. The biggest and baddest. His need for …
Evangeline Anderson has written the perfect combination of Alpha and sweetheart in her Brides of the Kindred science fiction romance series. I admit I’m a sucker for an alpha hero that will do anything for his fated mated. In Claimed, we’re introduced to three very intriguing kinds of aliens known as the Kindred. After saving the planet from the …

At first I didn’t think much of this book but then it kicked off big time! Really imaginative and entertaining. Lots of sexy aliens and great story to add.
I am off to read the second one right now!
Got hooked on this world and had to see what would come next. Love this series!
Beautiful love story. Excellent characters. I love the detail the author put into the story so the reader truly understand the Kindred culture. Watching Baird try to win Olivia’s heart and seeing her constantly resist him tore at my heart. Great book.
This isn’t my first experience with Evangeline Anderson’s Kindred world, but this is my first non-giant alien book! And I LOVED IT!! If you’re looking for a gateway into Science Fiction Romance, this is an amazing place to start!
Sign me up to be drafted
The steaminess in this book is off the charts and the story line hooked me from the first page. This was my first time reading about the Kindred and their brides, but I was not disappointed. Olivia has some hang ups, although they are more about the fact that her life is changing then anything else. Baird is a returned …
Ms. Anderson does a great job at world building and creating characters that you relate to and pull you into their lives. I was so engrossed in the story I never realized I had read the entire night.
I was not initially interested in reading sci fi romance, but this book changed my mind. The elements of paranormal mixed with sci fi works well. Plenty of strong male and female characters and romance.
I really liked this book. It was fun, sexy and easily captivated my attention. The characters were very well thought out and delivered. The plot was enjoyable. It was an easy read taking about a day. It is a stand alone but is also a part of a series. So if ypu enjoy it ypu can go on to read about the other characters, if not then no cliff hanger.
A page turned from the time I started it until I was done. Highly recommend this book to anyone that likes action, romance and sci-fi.
Great story line which is very engaging. A keeper
There were many enjoyable moments in the book, but also contained some areas to rush thru. Overall, I would read this author again.
Loved this book. The only issue I had was with the character of Liv I found her very annoying and indecisive a bit too stubborn in some sense
LOVE this entire series! Ive read all but the newest one. This series has 19+ books in it and i can’t stop reading them! I especialy like how ALL the books are woven together!
Loved it.
I don’t usually go for futuristic books. I got this one free on Book Bub. I enjoyed it so much I read the next 6 books in the series. The follow up books in the series continue the stories of the original characters as well as introducing new characters. I plan on reading the rest of the Brides of the Kindred series. Great characters with unusual …
Loved this book. It was a perfect mixture of sci-fi meets romance. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
