Feline shapeshifter Prince Jarlath Leandros of the planet Viros is a man who understands duty. As heir, he’s had his future as leader of the House of the Cat mapped since childhood. Boring! Jarlath yearns for an indefinable more.

A war is brewing, one that brands Jarlath and Keira enemies, yet their hearts shout otherwise and their animal selves—the leopard and the crow—care nothing for conventional barriers. I have recently discovered this author, Shelley Munro, and so far none of her books have failed to utterly entertain me. Claimed & Seduced is no exception. All of her characters were interesting, and the plot and pacing of this story was done very well. I loved Jarlath and Keira, and the sexytimes fit in and were pretty steamy. I thoroughly recommend this book to all!

I loved reading this steamy sci-fi romance. Prince Jarlath, royal heir to the kingdom planet of Viros, meets his match in the beautiful widow Keira who is smart and sassy and full of deep dark secrets. But falling in love creates more problems for the heir apparent and his chosen mate as his people come under surprise magical attacks and a stealthy coup by their sworn enemy. Very exciting!

A different path…
Doing the same thing every day can drive a person to extremes. Luckily all it did to Jarlath was send him down a different path during an outing. That path leads him to Keira. Of course they have to fight their way to a HEA. There’s all kinds of intrigue, war and snarky comments. This is the second book in the “House of Cat” series. I am truly loving this series. I actually read a later book first and had to go back to start from the beginning because it was so good.

The second book in the House of the Cat series, a book I enjoyed reading. This is Feline shapeshifter Prince Jarlath Leandros of the planet Viros and Keira Cloud is from the House of Cawdor and is his enemy or is she. I want to read the next book in the series. opposites attract – and they might just find new destinies.
Crown Prince Jarlath is heir to the throne of a race that is dying out – their shifter beasts are dying off, and with them, their longevity.
Keira Cloud is a widow, wed as second wife to an ambitious man by her father for gain in position and monies.
She was named a murderess after the death of her husband – though she in fact had little to do with his death, and his ambitous offspring sought only gain.
The two find each other when Jarlath decides to take a different route for a change – and he finds his feline within him stirring.
The kicker? Keira has a crow shifter – a sworn enemy tribe.
But they seem to prove themselves true mates.
So what is to become of them and their home?
Read on to find out, in this steamy shifter romance.

Prince Jarleth decides he is tired of his daily mundane rituals. He never would have thought that breaking out of his old mold would thrust him into a new scary and fantastic adventure. Wrongly accused of murdering her husband, Keira Cloud just wants to live in peace. But accidentally running into Prince Jarleth in the woods changes all of that quickly. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next House of the Cat book!
I was gifted an ARC in return of an honest review.
Keira is a widow who was accused of the murder of her husband. This is not true, but his grown children keep spreading the lie. She lives on the farm left to her by her husband as she is treated very badly when going to the town. Jarlath is the heir to the throne. Ellard is his best friend and bodyguard. Keira is a crow shifter and Jarlath is a feline shifter. And their families are enemies. Keira has never shifted into her crow and Jarlath cannot shift anymore due to some kind of disease which has spread all through the castle and town. But when the two of them meet, their other selves start stirring. What a fabulous, fabulous story. Absolutely loved it.
I didn’t like this book as much as some of the others I have read from this author. It took me about halfway through the book before I liked Jarlath. I found it distracting when an oven was called a cook-box and a refrigerator a chill-box. It was unnecessary and didn’t do much for the flow of the story. For me, this book was just okay.
