Love should be everything or not at all.At least that’s what I used to think. I’m seventeen now, and back in Malibu. Mama’s drying out back East, and here I am living with my father and his new wife, Tiffany Blume, Hollywood harlot. At least that’s what Mama calls her. I keep my distance. I just have to bide my time until I turn eighteen and go off to college. Away from them; away from … go off to college. Away from them; away from Seth Drake.
Seth is living his dream. Studying acting in New York City, landing a recurring role in a hit series, and grabbing my heart one last time until it breaks.
He’s got fame. Fortune will likely follow.
I hate him.
I love him.

Claimed book two in the Evermore series takes up where one leaves off. Neely Evans trying to get her footing not only in her surroundings, but in deceit, family drama, peer pressure the struggle of life’s changes in her teenage years and trying to figure out Seth Drake who at one time was a constant in her life.
Rachelle did a wonderful job narrating this story and it’s characters.
Reviewed for a fair and honest opinion.
And the story continues with Seth and Neely with this book and the emotional turmoil is thick here. Neely struggles with some pretty grown up revelations and we are left wondering about one in the end. Hopefully the next will give us some answers.
The story is getting good and picking up steam. This picks up with Neely in California with her dad and stepmom. It isn’t long before Seth walks into the scene. Things definitely get complicated and it isn’t long before she’s again booting him from her life.
This installment has plenty of teenage angst and hormone driven actions. Neely does make some friends and embarks on new adventures z namely college and… some frowned upon taboo activities.
Rachelle Williams continues to bring Neely to life with her Southern drawl.

Claimed is book 2 in the Evermore series and it delves deeper into the Neely’s life back with her father. Finally seeing Seth, old feelings come out, but are the feelings strong enough to get them back together? Seth is in college, secrets were kept from Neely and life at her father’s is settling in. So many things are still up in the air. Her mother’s rehabilitation, Neely’s decisions for her future and the surprise at the end may just change it all. Andrea Smith has me captivated, investing my heart in these characters and I can’t wait til the next listen. Rachelle Williams keeps it fresh and emotional with her fantastic narration.

I received this Audiobook from the author through Story Origin.
I didn’t realize this is Book 2 of a 4 part series. I was a little lost at the beginning. And the end was so abrupt, I wondered what the….?
This piece of the story was very interesting. This girl is muddling her way from adolescence into adulthood. Hopelessly in love with a guy who is scarred himself… Her parents have issues. Struggles all around.
Well read. Well told.
After 2 years, Neely returned to live with her father and new wife. Neely didn’t expect the humiliation at a New Years Eve party on the beach with Seth and his friends. Seth came to her room later, drunk, on New Years and claimed her. Did it mean they were getting together again? or was it just revenge? Devastated, she didn’t understand why he was so mean to her! Was her Mothers hidden secrets and agenda, cause the rift between her and Seth ?
Andrea Smith Evermore Series is about a dysfunctional family, full of teenage angst, family drama , secrets, manipulation, betrayals, revenge. Andrea shows how Seth’s and Neely’s connection and relationship is evolving and changing as they grow older. Neelys naivete and sweetness shine through in this story.
Rachelle Williams Is an outstanding narrator and gives this story the life and emotions throughout. I was gifted this audio thru Story Origin and offered my honest review.
Seth And Neely’s Angsty Story Places A Wholesome Southern Teenage Beauty In The Midst Of The Next Generation Of The Hollywood Elite.
This is the second book in the four part Evermore series. The first part tells the story of the friendship formed between young Neely and her Malibu neighbor Seth when her family moves from Tennessee. The pair becomes best friends for years and finally transition to boyfriend and girlfriend when she is fifteen and he is sixteen. Neely wants to be an artist and enjoys painting, and Seth wants to follow in his mother’s footsteps to become an actor. But when her father’s affair hits the tabloids, Neely’s mother returns to Tennessee, taking Neely with her. The pair keeps in touch until she breaks up with him during her one and only visit before he leaves for college in New York. Seth had wanted more from her than she was ready to give, and when his mother shared her own concerns about Neely and the relationship, Neely knew it was best they not make promises.
In this book, Neely has returned to Malibu two years later. Her mother is finally getting the help she needs for her alcoholism, so Neely is finishing high school in California. Living with her father’s mistress-turned-wife proves to be a challenge, but Neely is a survivor and makes it work. She turns to her artwork once again, the only thing that gives her purpose.
After using her new camera to take pictures on the beach on New Year’s Eve, Neely tries but doesn’t escape Seth’s notice. She had heard his family was out of town and thought it was safe. An awkward exchange ends quickly, but when Seth shows up drunk later that evening, he doesn’t seem interested in discussing the past.
Neely faces new challenges in this book. She is finally free from the responsibility of taking care of her mother only to be plunged into trying to get along with the woman who stole her father away. But that isnt her only challenge. Neely is by nature sweet and honest, so when Seth returns to her, she doesn’t question whether the boy she has been in love with might have ulterior motives for his attentions to her. Neely cannot seem to catch a break, but as she works through her dark times and discovers new facts, she has the support of a new friend to help her through.
Neely is a compelling character. Her feelings come through the pages, and her hardship is deeply felt. Seth’s love for her had been so adorable and genuine that it is difficult to see him two years later. The mystery of what happened to him when Neely left begins to unfold, but much remains to be learned.
Seth and Neely’s angsty story places a wholesome southern teenage beauty in the midst of the next generation of the Hollywood elite. Despite her father’s job in the industry, Neely remains an outsider in a tough environment. The story is well-written. In this story as well as the last, the present story is told as flashbacks fill in the blanks of the past. The plot is somewhat complex. The characters are carefully crafted. They feel genuine. The story is written in first person from Neely’s POV. I rate this book 4.5 stars.
Neely and Seth’s story continues with Claimed, and starts right where Crush left off.
I’m really enjoying this series, and I want nothing more than to see this couple having their HEA, but is their love strong enough to make it through?
I’m telling you, this is an amazing series, and I can’t wait for my next audiobook. The performance is great!!
After a summer with her grandparents and mother in Tennesse, Neely is set to go back to school in California. It’s about time! Her mother has been spiraling downward and continues to berate her daughter, but she has agreed to get help in a rehab center. Now Neely’s back in California, living with her father and self-centered stepmother as they celebrate Christmas. t’s been quite some time since Neely has seen or talked to Seth, but it was her choice to go back to Tennesee without a word. Her insecurities got the better of her and so did Seth’s mother when she warned her not to get too close to her son. Neely left him a letter, but she also left her promise ring behind. When they reconnect, they are so different in many ways, but still the same in others. I listened with apprehension as she met his friends at a New Year’s party he arranged and it broke my heart. This is an angst-filled story that gives you hope but takes it away just as quickly. But I still hold out hope for Neely and Seth.
This is the second book in this series. We move forward more on the semi-relationship between Neely and Seth. Each is moving ahead in their own life but they do come together. It’s been two years and some thing have changed but others haven’t. I felt sorry for Neely in this one. I feel she was surprised and hurt.
I did listen to this on audio and Rachelle Williams did another good job. She does more than just read. She puts feeling into the words.
I’m so in love with this story line!! I wish it was a longer book. But, I am very thankful to have been given copies on Audible for an honest review.
Neely and Seth knew each other as neighbors in Malibu when her parents were married. But, her mother went back to Tennessee with Neely. This story picks up with Neely back with her father and his wife In Malibu.
One fateful night Neely and Seth have an encounter that changes Neely. Even if she now has new wounds, Neely is quite impressive. She is a strong young lady who is focused.
While visiting her mother in Tennessee, she goes through her mother and her stuff, she discovers letters from Seth from a few years back. Her mother never gave them to her, one in particular letter where Seth declares his love for her was so emotional for me. “I LOVE YOU NEELY EVANS!”
Cannot wait to start listening to Book 3, even if I will be sad to see such a well written, beautiful romance having to end.
Claimed by Andrea Smith is a coming of age story that I listened to on audio narrated by Rachelle Williams. This is the second book in the series and does end on a cliffhanger.
Andrea does an amazing job pulling you into the story. She makes you feel like you are Neely’s best friend and know all her intimate secrets. I just couldn’t stop listening until I knew how the story was going to end. I cannot wait for the third book Paparazzi to be released on audible.
Rachelle did an amazing job on the narration. I loved that she used different voices/tones for each character. She really made the story come to life.
“Evermore” Greatness continues! Fantastic Audible Listen

Evermore Series, Book 2
By: Andrea Smith
Narrated by: Rachelle Williams
I am loving this series, the characters and storylines are interesting and enjoyable. Andrea Smith brings Neely back to Malibu in the second book of her awesome “Evermore” Series. In her first book “Crushed” Neely had broken things off with Seth, her long time friend turned to lover, she left him a letter with her reasons at the time. She then returned back to Tennessee, living with her Mom. Her Mom’s drinking spiraled out of control and she finally went to rehab and Neely left to go live with her Dad & his girl-friend turned wife, Tiffany. Neely is not a fan of her new step-mother but she is just buying her time until she graduates HS. She hasn’t seen or heard from Seth in a couple of years and does not plan to, but he should be away at college in NYC. Turns out he is home for the holidays and she sees him on the beach, she tries to avoid him but he sees her as wetland they wind up getting together. And what a get together it was! Andrea Smith has a way with words, she masterfully fits a lot of story into this novella sized book. The story is well plotted and captivating, once I started the book I did not want to put it down, I needed to know what was going to happen next. There is no dull moments in this book, there is plenty of drama, angst, some heartfelt moments as well as hot romance. Character development continues, Neely is one of my favorite characters it is great to see her growing as a person. We do not hear much from Seth in this story, but he sure left an impression and not a good one, I will only say he has some explaining to do. I am looking forward to what comes next for Neely these great characters. I am sure Andrea Smith will not disappoint, she never does. Thank you for another awesome story, I hope the rest of the series makes it to Audible soon!
I listened to the Audible edition, Rachelle Williams is a wonderful narrator, she continues to bring these characters to life, giving each their own voice and personality. You can hear how much heart she puts in to her work as she projects the emotions of the characters into her performance. She is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another great listen
Claimed by Andrea Smith is a wonderful story full of teenage angst, first love blossoming, hope and a gamut of emotions. Seth and Neely are the focus in this book. Rachelle Williams is wonderful bringing the characters to life. She inflicts the right emotions in her voice which add to the realistic vibe of the story. I am really enjoying this Evermore series.
OMG – I can’t get enough! this is book 2 in Andrea Smith’s Evermore series and really to get the most from this you should really read / listen to book, although I guess this can be read as a stand alone but you will get so much more from it after reading book 1. Both Neely and Seth are hurting and it seems they are out to hurt eachother more and more becasue of it. A little more mature but not the wiser this book was full of heartbreak and yet and I can’t help but have hope as it seems neither can get past their love – no matter how hard they may try…
Well written and well narrated, captivating and heartbreaking. This read /listen will have you obsessed even more with not oly the main characters of Neely and Seth but also the secondary characters – mom’s, dad’s, friends and more play a part in lives and decisions.
This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.
