I CAN’T CLAIM HER…BUT SHE WILL CALL ME MASTER.I was born blind. My genes are defective. Unsuitable for breeding. That’s the only reason I don’t claim the alluring human we rescued from a slave auction.I have no intention of mating her, especially since she’s meant for another. But when she calls me Master, I can’t help but take command. And command I will.
Highly recommended to anyone who loves bdsm
Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. Once I started I could not put the book down from start to finish you just could not get enough with twists and turns hot and steamy like a rollercoaster ride of emotions that makes you want more with Tarik was born blind and did not believe Zina the human would not like him he believes she belongs to another until the chemistry between them was hot.

Wonderful like ever in all regards and sensitive written how lacks become strengths how it is possible to overcome insecurities or live with constraints – and not to forget the hotness in between.
While I’ve not read all of the Zandian books I have read a number of them & while I’ve enjoyed them all I was very surprised at the level of emotion that was present in this story. It deals with Tariq, a Zandian who was born blind, & Zina, a human woman who had suffered greatly while kept as a slave & has the scars to prove it. This was a wonderful story. While it’s easy to read it as just a sci-fi alien sexy romance, it actually delves into the value that we place on ourselves as individuals & the worth that each brings to society. Loved it
This series is one of my favorites and each book gets better and better. The characters are fascinating and very different from each other, which makes the romances very unique and exciting. This is the story of Tarik and Zina, both of whom have some sort of physical disability. Neither one believes they are worthy of love, and watching them find that with each other was beautiful and brought tears to my eyes. I love the strengths both characters have and the way they overcome the obstacles in front of them. When you take that sweet romance and add in the heat that I have come to expect from these authors you are left with something that will bring a smile to your face and get your heart pumping.
I have absolutely LOVED reading every story in this series! I love the fantastic world that Renee Rose has created. I love the characters that are in the stories. I love how the Zandians have come back from extinction and they give humans a safe place to be, with the women being cherished. I think it is fantastic that both characters in this story seem to have what many may considered defects or disabilities, when in reality they are people like any other, and they overcome what some may see as faults. Yes, the Zandians are normally beyond perfect specimens, but who says what is perfect and what is flawed?
Zina has been rescued and she has been beaten down and broken. She doesn’t believe that she will ever be safe or cared for because she has flaws. When the Zandian gets her, she doesn’t see his differences, but she feels safe and calls him Master and likes being around him.
Tarik was born blind, something unheard of for a Zandian. But with his blindness, he has other abilities that make him totally unique to all others. When he is part of the rescue team for Zina, he is drawn to her but he believes that he won’t be able to mate with her because of his disability. He feels that other, more whole males should be able to claim the beautiful Zina, but he does love it when she calls him Master.

HE CAN’T CLAIM HER, BUT SHE WILL CALL HIM MASTER. Tarek was born blind. His genes are defective. That’s why he says he won’t claim the alluring human they rescued from a slave auction. Absolutely loved and enjoyed Zina and Tarek’s story. They’re complicated characters, connection, angst, chemistry, and the twists and turns. Gonna go back and read the other Zandian books. So good.

What makes Claimed by the Zandian stand out are its characters, who offer a unique take on the universe Rose has built throughout her Zandian books. Both her hero and her heroine work against the usual types she’s featured in previous entries in this series.
Zandian males are usually amazingly perfect specimens, so it was fascinating to see that our hero Tarik is blind. Even though Zandian technology affords him the opportunity to be a navigator, I liked the way that Rose made him acutely aware that he isn’t like the other Zandian males. It also made his opinion that he wasn’t worthy of a mate because of this understandable. In a world with a limited number of females, why should he jump to the top of the list of candidates?
Tarik is well matched in Zina, who copes with her own disabilities—a damaged leg and a bruised soul—in her own way. I loved that she has to address what she sees as drawbacks and learn how strong and capable she is. Both Tarik and Zina have negative views of themselves, and Claimed by the Zandian shows how their growing love is a mirror to each other of all that is positive instead.
Rose also ties elements of this plot to earlier Zandian stories, and this all adds up to one of the best in this long-running series. Claimed by the Zandian reminds you that when you’ve got great characters who offer readers new and different perspectives, you can end up with a fantastic book.
Never give in to a challenge
I love how these authors work together writing. This is another great Zandian tale. I like the challenged hero and how he uses it for the better. The characters click together throughout the story. I can’t wait for another story from these two authors.
This was a fantastic read. I cannot wait to read more books by her. The connection between characters was spot on. I don’t want to spoil the book for anyone so I will just say that you have to read this book.

I liked how determined Zina was to protect Enya and in return Enya wouldn’t leave without Zina. I also liked that she didn’t care at all that Tarek was blind. I am glad in the end she was able to finally find where she was meant to be. I am also glad that Tarek was able to accept wanting to be with Zina. I also thought they had great chemistry.

Another high five for Ms. Rose. The action and humor in this book was on point. Denial and acceptance because of a disability or injury make or break you human or alien. The fun these characters had bad the mischief were funny. Even though the main characters had a place and job to do the interaction they shared was one for the books. HEA and leads to another story is always interesting to find.

Well worth reading!
Tarek had already caught my attention in the previous book, and I was excited to see that this was his story. I was a little sad to learn that this doesn’t exactly pick up the threads of the political intrigue where the last one left off, but the amount of angst and drama more than make up for it. Tarek and Zina are two imperfect beings who were raised in societies that prized their own versions of perfection. The two of them have developed very different outlooks to deal with the situation. I really enjoyed seeing them let down their guards with one another. I was a little distressed at what it took to achieve their happily ever after, and yet I was so glad to see it. I still have some questions about what’s going to happen next, so I’m looking forward to reading more of the series.

I loved this book. When you cry, laugh, and want to hit something, you know you have a hit story. Renee and Rebel write such wonderful alien stories that need to be read. I hope we keep getting more of the Zandian series in the future.
Tarek has been blind from birth, Zina was permanently injured by her slave master and his doctor for no reason whatsoever. Neither one of them feels like they are quite whole or really deserve any good things, but then they meet each other, and boom.
I like how strong Zina is. She’s ready and willing to fight for what she thinks is hers or for what needs to be protected. It doesn’t matter if she is going to be outgunned, outmuscled, or outfought, she’s going to make sure that she hurts someone along the way. She’s protective and caring, and she’s going to do what she thinks that she needs to do.
Tarek is protective too, and wants to protect Zandia as much as possible, and he uses the tech in his head to do that. He has a really caring heart, but he hides it behind his gruffness. He doesnt want anyone to see it or believe it, I think.
I did get mad at Tarek a couple of times, mostly because he had his head up his rear, and because he did something I really didn’t like, but mostly I did like him.
I liked that the “h” and “H” were handicapped and not perfect. Zina’s little ploy to make Tarek jealous was hilarious. I loved Tarek’s reaction!! Could Zina be any worse at navigating?? Lol. Some twists and surprises make this an emotional, heartwarming story. I loved watching their story play out, as they overcame obstacles and moved towards their hea.
This story drew me in from the first paragraph. I loved that the hero is damaged and alone. I loved that the leading lady didn’t give up hope. The story starts out so sad with slavery and fear. I love a happy ending and this writer gives you everything. My emotions were all over the place hoping that this couple would have their happy ending. Also I enjoyed the alien world. I can not wait to read more from this series.

These two authors have written a really splendid, enjoyable sci-fi alien romance & I enjoyed reading it. The plot is intriguing with suspenseful situations. The world building & scene descriptions are outstanding. The characters are well-developed complex individuals with physical disabilities & emotional flaws. The secondary characters offer some good support.
