“All she wanted was to sing, but can Leandra focus on her dreams after she learns the biggest producer in town is actually a Demon? What will she do when he’s claimed her as his own?”Leandra Katell has finally made it to the big city. Now, she just needs a job. All she wants is to sing in front of thousands. Is that too much to hope for?She knows she has the voice to do it and what’s more, the … what’s more, the perfect show is just about to go under production! There’s just one glitch in her plan. The show’s producer.
Arrogant and spoiled, Chance Madoc is the golden boy of Broadway. Every show he touches turns to gold. Literally. Known for having a very specific type for his female leads, he turns down Leandra based on her photo alone. The plump songbird is not what he is looking for at all.
This half-Demon is all about the tall, thin, and gorgeous. When Leandra seeks him out, determined to make him listen to her sing, he’s about ready to throw the curvy little brunette out on her rounded bum.
Until his Demon side gets whiff of her! Then all bets are off and Chance won’t rest until he has Leandra by his side.
She might not know it yet, but she’s about to be claimed by the Demon!

This is a wonderfully well-written story of a third “fluffy” friend to find her mate. The characters in this book are well-constructed and unfortunately he has a rude comment she overhears and he regrets his quick harsh words until he can win her over. He is her hero due to what he has done for her profession, but with that one comment and then another act he does without permission she is disillusioned with him. This story has a great couple having to work for something they both want. A must read. Can be read alone but goes well with 3 of Gorri’s otherbooks.

Chance had the golden touch everything that he had to do with succeeded. Leandra was a singer when her friend took her to try out for the play, Chance said that she was fat and not the person he was looking for. When she started to sing his demon said that she was his mate. He wooed her and finally won her over and Leandra also loved Chance’s demon side.
I loved it. I was hooked from the beginning and couldn’t put the book down until it was finished.
I couldn’t help but laugh at Chance, seems like he was always putting his foot in his mouth where she was concerned. Now, I wonder whether Terrence will have his own story.

Leandra really wanted the lead in the new broadway musical but Chance would not even consider her because she wasn’t model skinny. Overhearing his mean comment about her size she still goes out to show him a bigger girl can still sing. Chance catches her scent his demon half lets him know that he has just met his mate. Now all he has to do is claim her. Easy right? Maybe if she hadn’t heard his fat comment. Oh and the pesky little issue of her being a ‘normal’. Though part of a series this can be read as a standalone, it has no cheating and ends in a HEA. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
