Continuation of previous story. Zeus saves Lucy and takes her to a private island where the alpha omega bond is reinforced. Unfortunately
Lucy betrays him to Kayden and almost brings about his death. Much more happens in this book with another cliff hanger. At this point, I can’t stop reading as I am totally caught up in Zeus and Lucy’s love, betray, hate cycle. I love this series and would highly recommend it as a great read if you don’t mind cliff hangers and this one has them.
Audio Review:
Claimed by the Alpha – Omegaverse M/F Romance (Knotted Omega Book 2) continues Lucy and Zeus’s love. Very vivid and descriptively detailed descriptions, compelling characters and a suspenseful plot. Betrayal weaves through the narrative.
With a explosive ending, i’m looking forward to listening to the next audio in this series, wrapping up Lucy and Zeus’s romance.
Narators Tor Thom, Charley Ongel duet narration was flawless. Tor Thom inflection fits the role of alpha male perfectly and his deep baritone inflection brought out Zeus’s character. Charley Ongel went toe to toe with Tor Thom bringing Lucy’s character to reality. Her ability to portray Lucy’s turmoil just right shows her talent. The off the charts chemistry can be felt with these bringing a entertaining listen.

Zeus And Lucy’s Over The Top Story Is Daringly Steamy And Super Dramatic!
This is book two of the Knotted Omega series. It picks up where book one leaves off. While possible to read it as a stand-alone, it is confusing without having read the first book in the series beforehand. This story ends at a good transition point, but the couple has yet to earn their HEA.
This is the story of Zeus and Lucy, an alpha and his omega. Their story takes place in a world that has been destroyed by tsunamis and global warming. Zeus is a General and lives in London. Lucy is from Russia, having left it behind when it was invaded. Zeus has a half-brother named Kayden who has plotted to overthrow him, and toward that effort Kayden has used Lucy to distract and lure Zeus into a trap. One week later, Zeus has fallen hard for Lucy, surprising himself. He has a mating bond with her. But Lucy is fiercely independent and struggles against the attraction as well as guilt for her role in Kayden’s plot. Zeus and Lucy dance around the truth of their feelings, but before they come to terms with it, more threats challenge them.
Zeus and Lucy’s over the top story is daringly steamy and super dramatic. It has danger and elements of suspense. It is nicely written. The plot is fairly straightforward but there are some surprises. The characters are decently defined. The story is written in first person. The POV alternates between Zeus and Lucy. I rate this book four stars.
4 star Review Claimed By The Alpha (Knotted Omega #2) by Laxmi Hariharan & Scarlett Brooke
Audio Review:
Both Laxmi Hariharan and Scarlett Brooke are relatively new authors to me. Dystopian paranormal romance is not a genre I typical read or listen to. This was a hot and steamy book, Zeus and Lucy’s story had me invested from the first to the last chapter.
The narration from Tor Thom and Charley Ongel certainly brought the story to life for me, the chemistry between them is obvious and they certainly did the story justice.
Looking forward to the conclusion to this series.
Claimed by the Alpha
Omegaverse M/F Romance (Knotted Omega Book 2)
By: Laxmi Hariharan
Narrated by: Tor Thom, Charley Ongel
As this story continues, I am completely caught up in the life of Zeus and Lucy. Their struggle for dominance is real, and while listening begin to wonder who is really in charge! Their off the charts chemistry continues, and Zeus is adamant about her being his mate. Lucy has an inner turmoil trying to fight her feelings and accomplish her mission. And when things go awry, the suspense is high and the answers to our questions remain unanswered! Will these two finally find their way to happiness? Will Lucy submit fully to Zeus? Will Zeus be the Alpha or will he share the power exchange? Will their worlds be able to coincide? I can’t wait for the conclusion of this story, it’s going to be explosive!
Tor Thom and Charley Ongel continue their narration of this trilogy. Thom has the best voice for this alpha! He has that note of authority when he speaks, and sometimes softens to let Lucy just melt. His inflections bring it to the forefront of the story. Lucy is a hard character, sometimes dominant and then easily submits. Ongel is right there, giving each nuance to her voice so we can feel the emotional turmoil Lucy is going through. Another amazing performance by this duet team.

I really enjoyed reading this steamy, hot dystopian romance & the continuation from the first book into this book is smooth & flawless. The well-paced plot is filled with a lot of suspenseful situations & there are some good scene descriptions. The characters are strong-willed individuals who have good chemistry between them although the female character (Lucy) seems to be rather indecisive at times, the relationship between the two alphas (Kayden & Zeus) is slightly confusing & are quite confrontational. There is some good support from the secondary characters.
There is: a feisty independent female omega (Lucy) was sent by the Scottish Alpha (Kayden, the ½ brother of Zeus) to assassinate his brother the alpha General (Zeus) who in turn captured & claimed her naturally she is not too impressed with the way things turned out & is determined to escape, Vikings/berserkers, twists & turns, intrigue, suspense, drama, adventure, action, blackmail, deceit, betrayal, danger, threats, conflict, violence, power struggles, memories, fated mates, aggression, anticipation, mating bonds, emotional turmoil, disobedience, resistance, confusion, trust issues, manipulations, sarcasm, determination, protectiveness, explosions, injuries, misunderstandings, vengeful feelings, sibling conflict, warnings, surprises, ruthlessness & being held captive, sadly this book does end with a cliffhanger & I look forward to the next book in this series with great anticipation.
I have absolutely loved reading this series. You would think that by this time Lucy and Zeus would have worked things out. But they are both very stubborn and arrogant and egotistical in their treatment of each other.
I often felt like I wanted to just bash Lucy over the head and knock some sense into her head. She loves her Alpha Zeus but still fights him on every angle. If she would have just talked to him openly and not skate around the issues, they would have a better relationship.
Zeus is every bit the alphahole that Lucy calls him, his arrogance and ego just make me so frustrated. He has been so hurt in the past, that he just wont let Lucy in and when he does, she betrays him in a way that he just cant understand. No wonder he has closed his heart off to her. But he just cant see past what she did, but he really needs to see it from her side too. Taken against her will and bonded with him. I can see why they are both hurt.
I cant wait to read the next book. Will Zeus forgive Lucy and will Lucy finally accept that she really does love Zeus and tell him how she feels? Will Zeus let Lucy back into his heart and be able to tell her he loves her? Will Zeus work on the relationship he has slowly started to have with his half brother Kayden?
When I started reading I couldn’t put it down. Laxmi Hariharan is magnifysent and amazing writer.I cannot wait to read more of there books.Keep up the great work. You should definitely read this book. Can’t wait for the next book.
This was an off-the-charts steamy sexy book. It continues the love/hate, push and pull force that exists between Zeus and Lucy. Zeus is the alpha of all alphas, the most ruthless alpha of the land, not caring to sever family blood ties in his quest for revenge and power. Lucy is not your typical Omega; she will fight her submissive Omega inclinations and resist Zeus with all her might. Neither expect the strong connection between them and both underestimate the power of their mating bond. Despite lies and betrayal the bond between them will not be denied. But Zeus will go as far as silencing the bond, a feat he just might accomplish.
In this installment of the Knotted series we learn more about the family history that led Zeus to be the harden leader he is. We also see moments when the couple almost reach a breaking point in their relationship, past the masks and pretense, but as always the plot thickens and before we know it, there is a new enemy at bay. Will this enemy destroy Zeus and all he has worked so hard to accomplish? How will the mating bond fare in all of this? I can’t wait to read the next installment!!!Laxmi Hariharan
I’m of two minds about this book. As an entry to the Omegaverse it’s leading us in a different direction from any other author who’s writing here. I can’t count that as being completely successful for the genre. Zeus is too lenient in all the wrong places for me to fully believe in him as “The One True Alpha”. And Lucy never submits enough for me to believe in her Omega nature. I love her spirit and that’s she’s asking Zeus to prove he’s strong enough to earn her submission. It’s just that the way it’s played out so far means that I’m not investing in their relationship. But, as a post-apocalyptic geo-political drama? That part of the plot I’m totally buying into. And I’m dying to see where the boundaries get carved out in the sand when the fall out is over. Parts of this series seem to be going in different directions simultaneously, and I’m not sure where any of them are going to end up taking us in the end. The cliff-hanger ending means that I’m holding on by my fingernails to see what happens next.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author.
Make Him Work For It
Lucy has always had a stubborn streak and this is no exception. She wants a mate that is strong enough and fierce enough to make her choose him. We all know that we don’t always get what we wish for they way we want it.
Zeus is a bad tempered Alpha that will fight for his right to rule as ruthlessly as possible. He will not brock any subordination.
Two strong individuals who will win the right to breed, die or rule.
If you love characters that are raw, dominant, and brutal then pick up this book and you will not be disappointed.
The Alpha was decided to dominate, submit and own the Omega but his heart was fighting with his mind. What if that was not all he wanted? Doubts, pain and deceive was playing a big role. Lucy’s battle seemed to be lost. Her feelings and emotions had blinded her and her choosing could had not been worse. Passion, deceive, betrayal, violence in this second book full of strong emotions. Two protagonists with an inner struggling that was consuming them. Liked Zeus character and was surprised with Kayden. A little disappointed with Lucy. She could had thought things better. Eager for the outcome of this interesting, intriguing and entertaining story that promises a strong and explosive ending.
For honest review. Zeus goes after his mate to be challenged at every turn of not her, his half brother now the Viking berserkers. Awesome story
Interesting, yet scattered, read in this series. Betrayal, yet love…or is it love or just chemistry…Will they come together for the good of their world/clan or fight to the bitter end
I’m glad that there was more world-building in this book and that more of the backstory was explained. I hate it when little things like that go unsaid or assumed. It ruins a good story for me. That being said, this story is progressing nicely. Lots of steamy Omegaverse scenes, lots of alpha dominance, and omega internal struggles of monologue. So much potential with this series. I hate that we get 2 of the books back-to-back then have to wait till Nov for the next. Why??? I hate cliffhangers
