This isn’t real life. In real life, you don’t have towering, broad-shouldered, Greek Gods of men stepping out of a portal and into your reality. Shirtless, in nothing but loin clothes, with every inch of their rippling, marble-hued muscles covered in tribal tattoos… You don’t have men like that appearing out of nowhere; out of a rippling crack in the universe… Until three of them do exactly … exactly that…

I really enjoyed this book. It is steamy and a different story line. It was a good “escape” book. I will look for more books by this author.
I’ve read other books in this series, but I felt this one let me down. I’ve loved all of the others though.
*****SPOILER*****
I didn’t like how our heroine in this book just ups and leaves the 3 aliens she loves. She didn’t wait for an explanation from any of them and just jumps thru the portal. She ends up regretting it for over 30 years. Because of the storyline, she didn’t waste too much time and used her time away to train for when she might get back to the alien planet. When I read the blurb, I just expected something different.

The great character and storyline development kept me glued to my kindle throughout the entire book! I was so engrossed in this story that I ended up reading this book in one sitting!
This story is different from the other books I have read by this author, but I enjoyed it just as much. I enjoyed the internal denial that went on in Aubrey’s head. I think I would have reacted the same way. I also loved the chemistry between the characters and all the sexy scenes. This story isn’t for the faint-of-heart, or those younger than 18, but it is one that shouldn’t be missed.
This time the Scorp tribe is in trouble and a little human women may be the key to their survival. This story has all action that you would expect from the other Aurelians books, just not as hot and heavy (too much action and survival going on).

The second book in the Scorp Blood Tribe series. I could not put this book down it is well written and held my interest until the end. Aurelian Warrior Triad of Forn, Hadone, and Durok get drawn into as Barl is being decimated they save Tammy and four orphans that are in her care. There is suspense, drama, danger, sickness, portals, fighting, villains, and romance. I think I liked this better than the last one. I would recommend this story.
