One fed up brother. One brash human slave.Crysta knows the only way she’ll ever be able to escape the harsh reality of being abducted into slavery is to fight. She’s a born fighter, and she’ll fight her way out of her cage if it’s the last thing she does.Being newly enlisted into the Interspecies Council Mercy Division, Veri is on a mission to free a shipment of human females from a slaving … females from a slaving auction. He doesn’t expect to come face to face with his fated mate, as well as having the biggest crime lord of the ten Quadrants on his tail. So he rescues her, and runs for their lives.
It seems Crysta has swapped one cage for another. She wants to believe Veri’s wild tale when he tells her she is his fated mate – but really? God knows he’s the sexiest alien she’s ever met and her insides clench with inconvenient need when he touches her. But how can she believe his story when the proof is still around her neck in the form of a slave collar?
Veri must prove to his human female that she has nothing to fear from him, as well as stop the auction from taking place, but when she escapes into a city filled with the scum of the universe, he must find her fast before she is lost forever in a labyrinth filled with the worst of the worst scum this side of the universe.
If you like impossible odds, lawless cities filled with corrupt criminals, sexy alpha blue-skinned aliens and the tension of fated mates, you’ll love Claimed by the Alien Space Pirate.

When I started this book I thought Crysta was one badazzz female and was ready to follow this feisty female lead into her turbulent adventure. So was very disappointed when she started doing too many reckless too stupid to live moves. I mean evaluate the situation before you jump from one danger to another, even if you are not sure Veri’s kindness is real or not take a breath and make an informed decision. After a bit her continued reckless handling of the situations just got old.
Veri is glad he’s found his mate and he is being patient with her. Almost a bit too passive and treating her like she will break at the slightest move, when he should have just been upfront with her about what their situation was. It may have saved Crysta from doing some of the stupid things she did then again it may not have. For some reason and it may have to do with me recently watching Princess Bride, but he kept saying, “As You Wish”…that combined with how the aliens used so much human vernacular that it was hard for me to not imagine a lot of badly written and acted sci-fi movies all rolled into one.
There were some several things that were likeable about the story, how Veri treated Crysta. How the other slaves put themselves in harms way to help other slaves on to a better life, plus a several more instances.
What didn’t work for me was the TSTL moments by Crysta when she started so strong to just becoming reactionary, and the very caricature nature of the bad guys, plus some of the dialogue was so cheesy that I just groaned.

Actioned packed story that was a bit too far fetched even for a PNR story but it did provide a distraction from an otherwise crazy week

Ahhhhhhh this was just such a wonderful book and I just thoroughly enjoyed myself. I didn’t want to put this book down. I just fell in love with this wonderful story and it’s wonderful characters. I will most definitely be reading more stories from this wonderful author.
This book has some dark elements in it and the main female character has a ton of baggage but the male character more than makes up for it by being super awesome. I loved him from the start and if Veri wants a new mate maybe we can work something out.

Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. This series intrigued me from the first book and this is the second book. Crysta was kidnapped and tortured then treated like a slave. Crysta was badly treated where, she was beaten to a pulp and thrown in the trash, Veri was there with his brothers trying save the humans. Veri finds his mate now he needs to find a medic to save her.

Crysta is a human who has been captured by asian slave traders. Trying her hardest to survive, she is subjected to mistreatment and cruelty before being left for dead. Veri is an alien warrior on a mission to stop the slave traders. When he comes upon their ship, he finds Crysta near death and she quickly becomes his new mission to save because she is his mate. He is able to save her, but because of the mistreatment, Crysta is wary of her alien rescuer. Especially because she doesn’t feel the mating bond as he does. Veri is so patient and loving. I loved all of their interactions together even with Crysta struggling to fully trust him. I look forward to reading more books in this series and by this author.
A paranormal story between an alien and a young woman who has been enslaved. I liked her toughness and her unwillingness to allow them to treat her as they do. He was great as her savior. His awareness of her needs was wonderful. A good story.

The first book was really sweet, but this one I liked it better! Crysta is a feisty heroine, albeit with a past full of betrayal and hardship. Veri is what you’d expect from a Rasidian! Hard, dangerous, growly and ready to claim his mate. We see their attempt to find and infiltrate Xataxi’s auction and save all human slaves, while waiting to be rescued by Veri’s brother and the others. I am patiently waiting for the 3rd book, since Raze’s message to his brothers really captured my interest!

Sometimes the help you want is more important than the help others want to give.
Crysta is in a living hell, with no hope of getting out, despite keeping her eyes open for any, and every opportunity, to get out. She’s lived a life where people use others, abuse each other, and as a result, she’s built a mile-high forty-foot thick wall around her heart. When Veri stumbles upon Crysta he instantly knows this is the one person who will complete him, and if he can make her happy, she will give him hope. She is the one person he never thought to find, wasn’t even sure could exist for him given his own past… and yet, she does.
Veri’s determination to help Crysta, not just in the ways he wants to help her, but in any way she needs to be helped, is captivating, and just might be enough to get him past that remarkable wall, to where her heart lies.

Super story with a great storyline, page turning action and plenty of romance. Veri is one of the Rasidian warriors who is undercover investigation selling of human women. Crystal, one of the captured women, has been dragged out of her cage and ordered to perform an unexceptionable act and she tries to bit it off. Fabri decides to beat her to death. As she’s dying Veri finds her, recognizes his mate and escapes to the planet Ahemait where he’s hoping to get help and healing for his mate. Will Veri be able to get his mate healed? Can he finish his mission? This is a romantic story between Veri and Crystal. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Veri is tasked to find out what is happening to all the human females. Crysta ends up being his fated mate. I had a little trouble following this story but I still want to know what happens next.
