One fed up brother. One brash human slave.Crysta knows the only way she’ll ever be able to escape the harsh reality of being abducted into slavery is to fight. He doesn’t expect to come face to face with his fated mate, as well as having the biggest crime lord of the ten Quadrants on his tail. So he rescues her, and runs for their lives.
It seems Crysta has swapped one cage for another. She wants to believe Veri’s wild tale when he tells her she is his fated mate – but really? God knows he’s the sexiest alien she’s ever met and her insides clench with inconvenient need when he touches her. But how can she believe his story when the proof is still around her neck in the form of a slave collar?
Veri must prove to his human female that she has nothing to fear from him, as well as stop the auction from taking place, but when she escapes into a city filled with the scum of the universe, he must find her fast before she is lost forever in a labyrinth filled with the worst of the worst scum this side of the universe.
If you like impossible odds, lawless cities filled with corrupt criminals, sexy alpha blue-skinned aliens and the tension of fated mates, you’ll love Claimed by the Alien Space Pirate.

When you have experienced bad things that enforced the idea if something is too good to be true is likely so, I can understand why Crysta is so distrustful and makes Veri go through so much hardship. Fortunately for Crysta, Veri is that long-suffering. I guess he is subscribed to the saying Something good is worth fighting for.

Instant mates, mind links, fighting against intergalactic slavery, that awkward feeling when you bring your brand new mate to hide in a brothel run by your ex…
*SPOILERS*
I liked the total adoration and care from the male love interest towards the female. Even though he’d just met her, he bent over backwards seeing to her safety, health, and spirit. Yeah, he looked like a big bad thug–but for his honey boo, he was a total marshmallow and that is my jam. Meanwhile, she was all scoffing, trust none, recently traumatized escapee. BELIEVABLE. However, we seriously couldn’t throw the girl a sheet to wear as a dress?! Clothes can do a lot for your comfort levels and she needed all the comfort…
Also featuring: there’s ALWAYS someone bigger than you, and humans are still the least impressive looking species on any planet gd it.
I missed the first book in this series and need to fix that because the side characters were awesome!

This is a very well written book 2 in the Rasidian Space Warriors series with great characters. I cannot wait to read the next book in the series. These characters are believably well-crafted and are likable. I love the story and the way they show their love for her. I have bought every book this author has written so far.

Evil aliens, kidnapped human women and hot alien to save them. Wonderful characters and writing that keeps your attention.A author i really enjoy. I am voluntarily reviewing an ARC gifted by the author with no obligation
I was intrigued by the story and really wanted to like it. Advice to the author, hire an editor. If you had an editor, one of two things happened. Either you ignored your editor completely, or you need a better editor. The issues I had: 1) there was not any explanation for all of these beings magically being able to communicate with one another. They all spoke English? That doesn’t even happen on Earth, let alone in the far galaxies. 2) Stop repeating everything, we got it the first or maybe even the second time. You did not have to pound the same thing out over and over. 3) Spelling, sentence structuring and proper pronoun usage are essential. This third was the most disturbing. Even a cursory reading over the material would have found those errors.

Crysta’s story is almost the story of one of the humans in a SFR story that doesn’t get rescued, because if she’s going down, she’s going to take a piece of her captors down, too. But as luck would have it, she takes down that small piece and gets rescued. Of course, her experiences both before and after her abduction make her view the actions of her rescuer seem dubious.
Having grown up in a culture that was cold hearted, Crysta knows how to survive, and knows how to not grow relationship attachments. This alien world is one she’s not prepared to survive amid, but when faced with the opportunity to take down one of the more brutal aspects of that world, she’s up for the revenge.
Typically, she’d also have to be battling the affections of an alien who is attempting to break down her emotional barriers, but the bond puts a spin on that trope: they’re already broken down, now she has to learn how to survive without them cold-turkey.

This story is about Veri, a Rasidian who is on assignment working for the Interspecies Council Mercy Division, is undercover investigating a illegal auction of selling human women by their number one crime lord Xataxi. While on the space dock, Aeon Terminal, his cover gets blown and now Xataxi has his men chasing him. Meanwhile Crysta, one of the capture human women has been torture by Fabri because she resists being a compliant slave is dragged out her cage so when Fabri orders her to suck on a certain appendage, she tries to bite it off which gets her beaten to death. Dying she’s carried to the refuse chute. Veri running around the station trying to get back to his ship smells the scent of his mate and finds her being dumped and rescues her. Now he has to get off the station and find help for his mate. Guns firing after them they escape to the planet Ahemait where he goes to Haylea hoping she will help him. Will Veri complete his mission and will Crysta trust another being with her body, heart and soul? This is a enjoyable action and romantic alien story of Veri who is one of the three Rasidian soldier brothers that are trying to capture and save the human women from Xataxi was a page turner. I volunteer to read and review this ARC via Booksprout.
A brilliant read, it’s well written, the plot follows easily with the first book, it has a happily ever after guaranteed. I look forward to reading the next in the series.
Crysta was abducted from earth and caged by aliens intending to train her so they could sell her on at auction. Crysta is far from docile and refuses to be submissive and compliant. When she is given to the trainer because of that he tries to make her do what he wants, she injures him and he orders his thugs to beat her and then dispose of her body. When veri finds her he knows she’s his mate, unfortunately she is close to death, veri takes her back to his escape pod intending to take her somewhere to be healed so he can keep her safe. Things don’t go as planned though and they crash land. Veri, who is tasked with bringing the gangster to justice, is on the run after being found out, he gets them to a planet but has to crash land and blow the ship up to keep the gangsters thugs off his tail – pun intended, he then finds an old acquaintance who heals crystas body. Veri then has to convince crysta that he is her mate and he will bring the slavers down. After some near deaths Veris brother arrives and saves them and they go on to find out where their remains brother is and set off intending to find them and stop the gangster once and for all.

Exotic adventure
I’m pleasantly surprised by the depth of the characters in this series. Crysta is a fighter, through and through, and she says true to character, showing strength throughout the story. Now, I’ve never been kidnapped and tortured by aliens, but the mental and emotional trauma, and how the heroine deals with it, seems pretty accurate. I can’t wait for Rase’s book, Rescued by the Alien Pirate.
Crysta is a hardened by life as a foster child who struggled into adulthood, but her strength is not necessarily an asset when she is abducted from her native Earth by a group of alien slave traders. Indeed, the evil Fabri, subordinate of the even more evil Xataxi, has chosen her as a favorite target for abuse. When the slave ship arrives at a station known as the Aeon Terminal, Crysta and Fabri tangle yet again, and this time she is beaten and left for dead. Literally, she is on the garbage heap that will soon be jettisoned into space.
Veri is a fierce Rasidian warrior, on a mission to apprehend Xataxi, the head of the slavers, and as he is reconnoitering the space station, his cybernetically enhanced senses go into overdrive. He senses that there’s a female somewhere who not only needs his help, but she is his “mate.” Upon finding Crysta, his mission becomes secondary to saving the life of his new-found mate. However, Veri is both resourceful and dedicated, so he manages to bring Crysta back from the brink of death, and soon he is back on track to accomplish his original mission—stopping the slave traders and rescuing their wares.
Human females, however, do not have the instinctual mating bond of the Rasidians, and Crysta has become skeptical of others due to the many hardships in her life. So, Crysta is determined to escape, from Veri and from anyone else that she doesn’t trust, which is basically everyone. She flees a safe haven in search of freedom, Veri chases, and the plot thickens, as is typical in romances. Forgive me, but I don’t want to reveal anything else, lest I spoil the plot for potential readers.
Claimed by the Alien Space Pirate by Charmaine Ross is a very hot and sensual read. If you like aliens from space, feisty heroines, and alpha male heroes, along with a lot of spicy sex scenes, this romance novel might be for you. Readers who want to know how the ship is powered, or anything science based, might like it a bit less.
This is a compelling continuation of this series and this book is action packed, brutal and at times beautifully loving!
Really enjoyed this story.
So looking forward to the next book.
Highly recommended.

Veri rescues his mate Crysta after she was beaten and left for dead. She was kidnapped from earth to be part of Xataxi’s slave trafficking ring, but her refusal to give up no matter what, earns her a death sentence. After everything that has happened to her Crysta does not trust anyone, let alone be an aliens mate. I loved how strong Crysta was, she is feisty, independent, beautiful and determined, a survivor. Veri is a good alien, saving his mate, slaves and being part of the task force to take down Xataxi. The writing is really good, characters well developed. The author does a good job describing, events places and the different aliens. While the couple has a HEA in the book, the underlying plot will continue into the next book.

The Second Rasidian Warrior Brother
Veri’s brother, Rhilax, killed Xataxi’s brother. Xataxi wants revenge. Veri is set up for capture at the Acon Terminal during a game of gambling. As he tries to escape, he accidentally stumbles over his fated mate, Crysta, being placed into a dumpster for expulsion into outer space. The aliens that beat her believe she is dead.
So, we start with beatings, graphic sexual violence, escape in progress, a rescue, necessary eliminations of the villains who are engaging in human trafficking, and a spacecraft crashing onto a desert planet.
This book is much more sexually graphic, a lot earlier than the first book of the series. The alien rescuer is more focused on claiming his mate ASAP and is not above using sexual persuasion. What else can you expect, when the hero hides his mate in a brothel?
Crysta does not buy Veri’s explanations and keeps trying to escape. Not a good idea on a desert planet that sells humans as sexual slaves.
I received a free ARC copy. This book is for readers 18 or older. It contains sexual triggers, beatings, fightings, killings, and so forth.
