The scorching final novel of the Wolf Creek Shifters series…Fallon Stone is a lone wolf…and she prefers it that way. Sick of stuffy Alphas telling her what to do, she lives on her own in a tiny Wisconsin town, determined to fight her wolf’s need for a pack. When an egotistical Warlock shows up and tells her she’s in danger, she dismisses him, and his desire to help. That is, until death shows … death shows up to take her down.
As the anticipated next leader of his coven, Warlock Aidan Wood always follows the rules. But when a vision shows him the death of a familiar sexy Shifter with gold eyes, he battles with the desire to save her and the laws that have been pounded into his head. It doesn’t help that she wants nothing to do with him.
Her impending death is looming, with a threat that goes deeper than either of them imagined. Now, Aidan must choose between what is easy and what is right.

This states it can be read as a standalone, which is how I approached it. No problem following but I can say with certainty had I read the series starting from the first release I would have been even more enraptured with the cast.
Aidan has protected Killian’s family before. He is a Warlock, a Seer. His visions are a blessing and a curse. Some good, some bad. Even if he can he is not to interfere with the futures of other species without previous approval. When a vision involves the sexy and mouthy Fallon, Aidan approaches his superior (he has a fancy title ) Duval requesting permission to assist. Permission denied! (Really disliked Duval) Unlike the rest of the magical society, Aidan can’t turn his back just because they are not witches.
Will he risk punishment to save a shifter? Can he save her?
I really really liked Aidan. He was quirky in a confident, sexy way. He was vocal in his thoughts though he did attempt to tread carefully so an not to offend, not that he was always successful. He did what he knew was right even if he stood alone.
Fallon I truly had trouble with. She is a sniveling self-absorbed brat. Everything was about her – Her freedom- Her life – Her feelings- I would have dumped Her arse in the snow and left her! Yeah, she had her good points but she was so wrapped up in possible slights against her femininity that at times she was a danger to those trying to help her unappreciative arse!
Felicity and Oliver are on my faves list for supporting characters along with Luke and Cat.
The world building was well done, even had a few twists to the paranormal (like Aidan’s scent when he cast).
I enjoy the more detailed and full-length paranormal reads and Savage delivers with Claimed by magic.
Full of action and suspense with an edge to the unknown that keeps the reader engaged. The relationship between our H/h was intense – Aggravating and perfect. It fit their characters to a tee.
Wait till you find out the why behind the vision?
I am going to suggest this be read in order with the series. Especially if Paranormal is your normal genre.
This series checks all my must have boxes – complex world building with solid plot lines and a vivid and creative cast of characters that you will love or loathe.

Fallon Stone is a lone wolf after leaving her father’s home and finding it is easier to be on your own than in a pack. Unfortunately lately she has hit a patch of very bad luck when she loses her job and then a Warlock tells her that she is danger but he doesn’t know from who or what.

Aidan Wood is a Warlock that works at Lion Heart Investments under Duval, a man that has raised him like a son. Aidan has Leir, which is the ability of 2nd sight and he can tell that someone is after Fallon. Aidan realizes how much danger Fallon is in and he vows to protect her and get to the bottom of everything. Yet he also must be careful as he needs help but knows what he is doing is going against the Coven and the consequences could be deadly.
This was an action-packed book full of temperamental, snarky shifters and witches. I enjoyed getting to know Fallon and Aidan, as well as watching them fall in love. For most of the book, they were barely getting along, but it was obvious they were a great match.
With all the things that were referenced by the many characters, it’s clear that I need to go back and read the earlier books in the series. This one worked pretty well as a standalone, but I think I would have appreciated it even more if I knew more of the backstory. As it was, I found this to be well written and very engrossing. I loved the idea of a magical world existing alongside the everyday human world, and it was great to see the supernatural characters who were willing to fight to keep both worlds safe. Great story!
Claimed by Magic can be read as a standalone (which is what I did), but it is part of a series, and I believe you would understand the relationships between some of the characters better if you read them in order. However, I do not believe that detracted from this story at all. Fallon is a shifter who dropped out of college, was working as a bartender, and had been cut-off financially by her parents. She loses her job, won’t go home because she does not want to deal with her dad. Aidan is a seer, and in one of his meditations, he sees that Fallon is about to get killed. He goes to her to warn her, but she doesn’t really take him seriously. He keeps showing up, and a vampire had her down when he showed up and killed the vampire. She realizes she needs help, and they go to her brother, Killian’s. Aidan has defied his coven leader by going to Fallon and getting involved, so he is risking a lot to help her. But more help is needed, so he enlists Oliver and Trinity – and wow they are some amazing characters. I had figured out who the villain was before the end, but there were still many more revelations and twist that I did not see coming. I loved so many of the supporting characters, and can’t wait to read the next one, and go back and read the prior ones as well. I will definitely be reading more works by this author. I didn’t think paranormal was really my genre, but I am a fan after this book. Try it, you may find something new that you enjoy reading…it had all the things I enjoy in a book – along with some magic.
WHOA!! CLAIMED BY MAGIC by H. R. SAVAGE had me Hypnotising and She is a New Author for me. Definitely Must Read Book with its Mysterious Adventure, romance and magical hotness. This BOOK was Uniquely Well Written plus such an Suspenseful Epic story that will Leave wanting more! It was an Unexpected journey of a Rollercoaster ride of TWISTS AND TURNS INTO the UNKNOWN!
This was my first time reading a book by Mrs. Savage. I liked the writing style and felt the characters had depth. Although I haven’t read the first two books I didn’t find it hard to follow along. In fact I was quickly drawn into Fallon and Aidan’s magical world. I look forward to going back and reading the other books in this series.

Can Aidan protect Fallon when his feelings for her increase and he must find out who is at the bottom of it all?
This is the first book I have read in this series and I really enjoyed it.
I liked Fallon’s independence but as the bad luck started it just started getting worse and worse for her. I wasn’t surprised that Fallon didn’t take Aidan seriously at the beginning but soon she realized how truthful he was being.
Aidan was just 100% awesome and cocky. He made me laugh so many times with everything that came out of his mouth and just how much he made Fallon mad and frustrated. He really had Fallon’s best interests at stake but he also wanted to protect her by keeping her hidden which made her even more mad.
I really liked the group of characters that came together to protect Fallon and work at discovering who was behind everything. I figured it out about a chapter before it was all revealed although I had some doubts right from the beginning.
There were definitely some twists with whose side a few people were on and I liked how it all played out, even if I was mad at one or two characters for some time. I was very proud of Killian for defending Fallon to their dad.
The end was super intense and I was worried but had my fingers crossed that Aidan would be able to save the day!!
Looking forward to more books in this series!
I have to say this book was filled with Action, Suspense and love and of course lots of magic. You don’t have to read the one before to enjoy this book but you might want to to clear up somethings.
What a rollercoaster of emotions! This is my first time reading a book by this author, but it definitely won’t be my last time! I read this book without knowing anything about the other books, and I didn’t feel like I was missing anything, but now I want to go get all the other books!!
Fallon is a BADASS, and Aidan is perfect for her. This book will keep you on the edge of your seat,,,, there is so much going on that you never know what’s gonna happen next! Such a great book!!
Fallon is trying to make it by herself. She doesn’t want to be in a pack especially her fathers. They cut her out after she decided ro leave college. Aidan is a warlock that gets visions. He gets a vision about Fallon and goes to worn her. I loved the characters. I would read the first 2 books in the series if you want to know their story. Great story.
An interesting stand alone wold shifter book. I did not read the first 2 books but I feel that I might have enjoyed this book more if I had (so I will go read them now) but still a solid story on it’s own full of magic, evil and everything else you can imagine. Defiantly worth a read
This book says it can be read as a standalone, but it would help to read the others to know the supporting characters in the story.
Aidan is a Warlock who has the ability to see visions, a specialty in his coven. He spots a shifter named Fallon in danger and sets out to save her. He has met her once before through her brother, leader of a pack in Wolf Creek. Fallon has chosen not to join his pack or any other for that matter. Split from her family because of her decision, she leads a solitary life. That is until Aidan shows up and turns her world upside down. Now she is being hunted by a vampire who was given orders to take her out. She now must turn to her family and Aidan to figure who and why she is being targeted. During that time, the handsome Warlock Aidan is capturing her heart and will do whatever to keep her safe.
The book was not ruined by not reading any others in the series. I would like to know the relationship between Aidan and Fallon’s brother as well as others in the pack. This just means am going back to read the previous books. I liked the story and the chemistry between Aidan and Fallon and the way the story played out. Time to go one-click the previous books in this series! I can’t wait to meet the others of the Wolf Creek Shifters. Thank you H.R. Savage for introducing me to them.
This was a good read. I didn’t much care for Fallon. I found her somewhat of a pill.
There is just something about shifter books that gets me every time and this book was no exception. I was hell captivate from the beginning to the end of this story and it left me wanting more. The characters are amazing and fantastic, easy to follow and fall in love with. I really can’t complain about how well written this book was. Hats off to this author and I definitely recommend this book.
I’m always nervous when I start a new PNR cause I never know if I’ll like it. The prologue sucked me in and then the book progressed and kept me involved. I got overwhelmed at times trying to remember what all the names meant, but the plot and characters were really good.
When Aiden has a vision he knows he should stay away from the outcome, but he can’t. He can’t get Fallon out of his mind and he vows to help her. As they search for the threat to her they come across something dangerous and evil.
This was a good shifter story. I liked that the warlock and the shifter were fighting their feelings for each other. They weren’t meant to be together but sometimes you can deny love. There was action and angst all around. Fallon was spunky and independent. She did not want to depend on anyone but did learn that she didn’t have to do it all alone. Aiden was cocky and sexy. He was determined to help Fallon but not get close.
I rated the book a 3 because the story moved slow in my opinion. It did have great characters and plot
This was a quick and magical read about witches, shifters and vampires. Mystery, intrigue, action, betrayal, heartbreak that ultimately ends with an HEA is just some of the many great reasons why you will enjoy this read. Aiden and Fallon are interesting characters and the story line will keep you invested from start to finish. I would love to see more about this couple and what happens with them in the future.
I must admit I really didn’t like Fallon at first. She was really a bit€h. But as she grew on me and hearing what she endured growing up (which was way way into the book by the way) I grew to like her. Aidan was just the man er warlock to tame Fallon. He was persistent and he still had to save her. This ended up being a great read.
