It was a good one to read.
One of the best books I’ve ever read. It just holds your interest.
Love this series.
It was good to get ahold of a book that the hero (or heroine in this case) not only won but won with a good moral character as well.
I really found myself pleasantly surprised throughout. I love her characters. Realistic problems current with the times. I am on the fourth book in the series! Will read them all! Never disappointed!!!
Enjoyed this book.
Good book. I read the entire series, albeit several years ago.
I loved this book. It is hard to imagine what our early sisters went through in paving the way for women in various career fields. This was an eye opener just as many of us today paved the way for our younger sisters since the 1970’s – those today who can’t imagine what we went through to make it better for them.
Fascinating reading. Factual, educational and inspirational. I couldn’t put it down. Thank you for a delightful time of reading. I look forward to morre!
I absolutely loved City of Angels. Kit Shannon is a remarkable heroine with strong Christian values who does not conform to the “strong female character” stereotype. She remains feminine but assertive, kind but firm regarding what she believes to be right, and is an admirable and relatable hero that I loved reading about.
The story overall is …
Liked the realistic characters and learning about the justice of the times. Plenty of plot twists. Although knew the perpetrator by mid book, had no idea how it all came together until the end. Fascinating; could not put it down.
This book about the first woman lawyer in LA was so good I bought the whole series! There is danger, murder, romance and Christian values. I loved it!
Great historical fiction!
With a few turns and twist, main character Kit will keep you reading and guessing what is going to happen next.
It’s been several years since I read the book, but I remember appreciating the history and the reality of the social norms of that period. A good read.
