A great read about an amazing woman’s venture into unknown tested waters of becoming a lawyer in the early west. She followed her dream with vengeance and perseverance to everyone’s awe and some’s dismay. She was able to do all this through her strong faith and relying on prayer to see her through in moments of self doubt.
Love the book. Bit of history with romance and
I lost the entire day. I could not put this story down. Well written, exciting, with a strong female character. I had a feeling it would turn out well, but was almost breathless wondering how it would turn around. Great book.
Very good kept my interest from start to finish. Loved the character Kit Shannon.
Women lawyers were not exactly accepted at the turn of the century, the 20th century, that is. But Kit Shannon, with her passion for the Lord and for justice, her outspoken nature and sometimes Irish temper, managed to make her way into acceptance and solve a who-done-it murder mystery. Good book!

Great story. Had a good beginning and went a little too long in some of the details. But had a great ending. Thank you for writing.
Really enjoyed. A good clean read
This was really well written. I really enjoyed it and would read it again.
A story about a woman trained to be an attorney and living in the early days of Los Angeles.
Wonderful book, accurately depicting a time in our history where women were struggling to break the social perception of the role of women as only a wife and mother. You root for Kit Shannon both in her social struggle and in the courtroom. A great look at the practice of law during that time.
Great book and a great series.
I almost didn’t read this book because, I didn’t feel in the mood for a sit on the edge of your seat read at the moment. Very glad I changed my mind.it definitely had ts moment’s, but quickly took past them. Both the location and time period were interesting historically. A very enjoyable read.
