Darby Quinn has a bone to pick with Cinderella. Burned one too many times by ex-boyfriends, Darby has lost all belief in the happily-ever-after that the fairy-tale princess promised her. She’s sworn off love, Prince Charmings, and happy endings and she’s happy about it. Really. Or at least she was… until she met Jake, her gorgeous neighbor and the manager of her favorite restaurant. But Darby has … has rules about dating, ones she’s culled from her years spent with so-called “princes,” and starting something with Jake would break all of them.
Charming, fun, and unwilling to give up on her, Jake doesn’t fit any of the profiles Darby has created from her case studies of ex-princes-gone-bad. Finally presented with her own Prince Charming, can Darby take a chance on a happily-ever-after?
Full of wit and sarcastic humor, Cinderella Screwed Me Over proves that sometimes the perfect love, like a perfect pair of shoes, is just within your grasp.

A different way to look at relationships. A weekend/ vacation read.
Cute book! I really enjoyed it.
More 2.5 stars. The book was readable and I liked the heroine’s analysis of past boyfriends as comparable to various fairytale-type characters, I found it overall to be a one-note plot.
I’ve often thought the same thing. Disney’s Cinderella has always disappointed me that the birds and forest creatures aren’t helping with housework.
Entertaining story! Darby’s outlook on love keeps you wondering what would happen next.
I loved the title, “Cinderella Screwed Me Over” lol! Made me think about all those princess videos I let my daughters watch.
It gave me the old emotional rollercoaster as I cried, laughed, and screamed in fury at times while reading it!
Gotta love a fun and quirky read!
Page by page this book wins the reader over with wit, charm and real life experience. Quite a few laugh out loud moments, too. I usually go for the sexy/steamy books but this was definitely worth reading!
Not my cup of tea…novel idea for the plot, but it needs to have the comparisons more obvious.
A really well written story that draws you in with it’s humour and loveable characters. A book for all of us jaded by the concept of ‘the one’.
Loved the story!
A little slow at the beginning but got better
Great reading!!
This is a fun read that has me laughing.
Everyone needs a Jake in their lives.
This is just me, but I was happy to read book with characters who did not jump into bed on their first time together.
I enjoyed reading this book and look forward to reading more by this author.
Interesting take on men’s behavior while dating, comparing them to fairy tale characters. Easy to read chick lit without a lot of depth. Nice beach read.
I had a hard time liking Darby.
A fun read!
