Christmas Witness Pursuit by Lisa Harris starts out with a bang. A car crash to be exact. Our heroine awakes to the puzzlement of why she is there and only knows she must leave the wreck because someone is after her. Deputy Griffen O’Callaghan comes on the scene and must find the fleeing woman because it isn’t an ordinary crash- there are men in the car with bullet holes in them. Can he find this damsel in distress and help her discover who she is and who she is running from? What an exciting story with a new twist on the amnesia trope. Lots of things to uncover and Ms. Harris does an admirable job of taking us on a suspenseful ride all in the setting of a Colorado winter.
This Love Inspired Suspense story had me flipping pages very fast.
*I received a complimentary copy of this ebook from the author. I was not required to give a favorable review. All opinions are my own.*
I enjoyed this clean, Love-Inspired Suspense. I voluntarily chose to review this story, and I’ve given it a 5* rating. Warning, there is a lot of violence in this, because of the bad guys. There are lots of twists and turns, so you need to keep reading to find out how it ends. Good Ending.
She can’t remember who she celebrates the holidays with, much less than the murder she witnessed. When Griffin finds Tory and two dead FBI agents alongside the highway, he immediately takes on the role of protector.
Lisa Harris drives readers at a breakneck pace with a ruthless criminal, a winter storm, and several close calls. During the few breathers in the story, I got to know Griffin and Tory and found myself rooting for them more and more.
If you’re wanting a fast, intense, high-energy book to devour this season, you can’t go wrong with Christmas Witness Pursuit.
