Will a Christmas love built on lies melt away just as surely as the snow?Welcome to Seattle, the Emerald City and home to The Single Dads of Seattle. Ten sexy single fathers who play poker every Saturday night, have each other’s backs, love their children without quarter, and hope to one day find love again. This is Zak’s story … Single Dad of Seattle, Zak Eastwood plans to spend Christmas with … Eastwood plans to spend Christmas with fellow lonely hearts. His kids are supposed to be at an amusement park with their mom. However, fate has other plans. When a woman from his club finds herself stranded in the snow, he takes her to safety.
Drowning in student loan debt and her father’s medical bills, first-year law associate Aurora Stratford allows herself but one splurge–a pricey membership to Club Z Fitness to watch the gorgeous Zak flex his muscles. Though out of her league, fantasizing about his blue eyes and tattoos is the only thing that keeps her sane these days, especially since her Christmas will be spent alone with her dead cactus and money woes.
When the snowstorm of the century moves in and the hero of her dreams offers her a ride and a place to stay, Aurora’s Christmas begins to look up. However, Aurora is ashamed of her current financial state–she’s nobody’s charity chase–and her lies of self-preservation begin to take on a life of their own.
Can Aurora spend Christmas with the single dad and win over everyone? Or will her deceit get in the way of not only their happy holiday but her happily ever after?
**Note: This book can be read as a standalone. It includes lots of steamy scenes, cursing, and of course as with all my books, this has an HEA and no cliffhanger or cheating. If you like single dads who take charge, this book is for you.

Absolutely fantastic!! Zak is my new favorite BBF. The connection between him and Aurora is so off the charts explosive that it pulls you into the story. This series just gets better and better.
Aurora and Zac think it’s a simple Christmas together, but quickly realize for them it’s more. What was supposed to be a quiet quaint time spent together ends up turned upside down, in both good and bad ways.
Not realizing they have lives that are entwined with the other, things start simple, and quickly become messy, ugly, and upsetting for them both.
Both Zac and Aurora have pasts and pride that is determined this can never be simple.
This turns out to be an emotional roller coaster, but is so worth the Ride.
Take a minute, jump on board, buckle up, and hang on.
Lately Aurora’s life has been far from easy between school and her family, but she allows herself one luxury and that is her gym membership. If she is honest with herself it is more so she can see Zak rather than a driving desire to exercise. When she encounters a snowstorm, what could have been the worst time of her life turns into the best when the weather causes her to seek shelter with Zak at his home.
Zak was dreading spending Christmas without his kids so having Aurora distract him was a blessing in disguise. What started out as the two them together evolved into a family affair as she becomes close to both Zak and his kids. The only problem is that she wasn’t exactly truthful about what her life is truly like and when truths are revealed and everyone is hurt, will they receive their own Christmas miracle?
Hot chemistry and all the feels this story is certain to put you in the Christmas spirit. It was great to not only see Zak and Aurora’s relationship unfold but to catch up with all the other characters we know and love as well.
Zak and Aurora are two intriguing characters in this story. After his divorce from his wife, women left a bitter taste in his mouth. Aurora caught his attention at his gym but what he didn’t know was that he was her guilty pleasure. When her car stopped and a snow storm prevented Zak from taking her home, she had no idea of the direction her life was going to take. Their romantic journey will touch your heart and have you believing that second chances for love is possible.

5 star review Christmas With The Single Dad (The Single Dads of Seattle #5) by Whitley Cox
This series keeps getting better and better. Every time I read a new book in the series I fall more and more for all the dads in The Single Dads of Seattle series. Christmas With The Single Dad has become my new favourite. I so wanted Zak Eastwood and Aurora (Rory) Stratford to get their happily ever after.
Aurora has been infatuated with Zac since the first time she saw him but knows that she has no chance. Badly burnt by his ex wife’s lies and betrayal Zac has no intention of opening himself up to love again, that is until fate steps in and puts Aurora in his path.
I loved how a snowstorm gave Zak and Rory the chance to really connect with one another. Although it was fast, it soon became obvious to both that there was something worth pursuing. Neither Zac or Aurora can ignore the smoldering chemistry and growing feelings that sizzle between them.
When their idyllic time is interrupted by unexpected visitors as well as his adorable children being returned for Christmas, Zak and Rory embrace the holiday with gusto. For Rory, the easy acceptance by Zak’s grandparents and his children Aiden and Tia melts her lonely heart and I admit it was emotional. In fact there were times when I felt that Aiden and Tia might steal the book away from Zak and Rory.
There were times when I laughed and times where I wanted to cry. It will make you swoon and I think you will be hard pressed not to fall in love with all of the characters. I loved that we also see other members of the club; the camaraderie and friendships amongst the men and the women they fall in love with is heart warming.
However what will happen when Zac discovers Rory’s “lies by omission” ? Will he be able to overlook them and forgive her or will the pain of his past ruin his chance at happiness with Rory?
Can I spend Christmas with Zak? I know what I’m asking Santa for this year. I loved Christmas with the Single Dad. Zak and Aurora’s story is a perfect mix of sexy, steamy, funny, and emotional. It hit all the feels. I cannot wait for the next book in the series! I would definitely recommend Christmas with the Single Dad to anyone looking for a steamy holiday read. I received this ARC in return for an honest review.
I think this has just become my favourite of the series!
Zac meets Aurora when her car has broken down and there’s a snowstorm on the way. They’re together that night but she can’t leave the next day because of the snow. It’s a few days before Christmas but it’s not going to be a good holiday for either of them…
Well written and a total page turner, would certainly recommend you read this one!
OMG! I so loved this book. Zak and Aurora were amazing. These two have both had their share of heartbreak, tragedy, and just crappy luck in the love department. Zak’s ex Loni was a real piece of work and continues to be a thorn in his side, and the only reprieve he has is his two adorable kids and his gym. Rory has had a rough couple of years, losing a loved one, a parent taking ill, helping pay bills with what little extra money she gets from work, and the only thing that gets her through it all is the hunky, sex pot of a man she sees all the time at the gym, little does she know he owns the place. She looks from afar and ogles him while working out. Hey we all have our vices and Zak just happens to be hers. Zak is a stickler though, he hates liars and won’t have it from anyone, he’s closed himself off from relationships and focuses on his family and his business. Well that is until he rescues Rory from the snow and what starts out innocent turns heated, it’s the holiday’s and she’s got no one to go home to except her dead cactus and dead fish. She changes something in him, but also is not completely honest with him about her life, call it pride, self preservation, not wanting to look like a stalker, but she really likes him, his kids and his family as a whole. Their time together is fun, sexy, steamy and deliciously delectable, but we all know that secrets or lies don’t stay buried for long and when people start popping up that she knows and knows Zak this sets the wheels in motion to bring her reality to a crashing halt. Nothing could have prepared her for the outcome of her lies, but who did she really hurt? Can you really consider what she omitted lies? Can Zak forgive and forget what’s happened? Or will he lose the best thing that’s ever happened to him because he’s sitting so high up on that horse of his he can’t really see what’s right in front of him? Such a great story and I can’t wait for Emmett’s. I am loving this series of Single Dad’s they are truly one of a kind and I’m going to be so sad when there are no stories left to read. Hat’s off to Whitley Cox for writing another amazing addition to this series. I received a copy of this book.
This is another book in the series The Single Dads Of Seattle.
This is Zak’s story. Zak is the owner of a few gyms.
Aurora was at one of his gyms eyeing Zak while she was doing
a work out that gives you the background of how they met.
The relationship between them has you laughing and crying at times.
The plot is definitely interesting and the chemistry between them is steamy
but there’s more to them than just sex.
You will absolutely Love Zak’s kids

It was nice catching up with the single dads in this Xmas tale. This time it’s Zacs turn another dad traumatised by a cheating ex & his children held for ransom by her.
Zac owns the gym & Aurora, a new legal assistant trains there. She’s had her eye on him for sometime. Due to inclement weather conditions she ends up at his home along with quite a few others!
I would say it would make a good Hallmark movie but perhaps with an X rating lol.
This was a warm, touching & a perfect Xmas tale. However Zac needs to overcome his issues first.

Really good to read. This was interesting because people judge for all types of reasons but don’t want to be judged themselves. Its a messed thing that affects everyone differently. Some people are too quick to hear what they want versus those that read between the lines. While others have truly been messed over and wont tolerate it at all. A little commonsense goes a long way. If it doesn’t sound right, it may not be true

I Received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I really enjoyed our Aurora and Zak’s story. It was off the charts in everything!! Aurora has been crushing on Zak Since she has seen him add his gym. One feed for snow storm pushes them together and the rest is history. This story was super steamy and you Really feel with both characters went through in past relationships/life. At the end I wanted to kill
Zak But he more than made up for it. Great read, highly recommend!
This is another great book in the Single Dad series & loved this the story of Zak & Aroura. She has fancied him from a far for months going to the gym thats miles away from both her work & home just to see him. Then one night she is late out of the gym just as shes clearing the snow off her car the god himself pulls up next to her in his truck asking if she is OK her car starts but then makes noises & dies. Like her own Prince charming he offers to take her home but reports on the radio say roads are blocked due to accident so he offers for her to stay at his home for Christmas. That night is like her dream come true when the spending a hot amazing night together. Their bubble is popped with their unexpected guests his children then his grandparents who have quickly fallen in love with Aurora who has quickly grown just as fond of them too. She is also introduced to his friends & their families but them the secret she has been keeping is brought out in spectacular fashion on Christmas day if front of everyone & orders her to leave as he has told her all along he hates liars. You really feel for Aroura as she didn’t really lie she just never corrected him to protect herself. His family & friends all tell him he stupid to let her go but he cannot get past her deceit. This story is full of chemistry, hurt, upset, laughter & love that had me glued from the start wondered of the Princess gets her happy ever after.
Zakk and Aurora were great together. I could not get enough of this book. I thought the other guys were my favorite but Zak is my new favorite. Great story and characters.
Single fathers of Seattle, – well this story is simply such a sweet Christmasy feely love story, and a good one at that! It has a good storyline and fabulous characters, some of whom we have met before, i.e. the other single fathers whom we have gotten to know before… This story has it all in short. It is just really well worthy of the five stars I am giving it here. If you like sweet with a punch of steamy with anohter punch of sad and a lot more then this story might just be for you. Overall a really feel good story!!! Can´t really wait for the next story in this series!!!

Christmas with the Single Dad is Book 5 in the Single Dad of Seattle series and I could not put it down! I read it through in one day there is something special about romance, falling in love around the holidays and this book is all that and more! Single Dad Zak expected to spend Christmas with his fellow single dads since his kids Aiden and Tia were going away with their mother for Christmas something he was not happy about, but fate had another idea when his world is finally rocked by Aurora. Aurora was a member of Zak’s health club only she had no idea he was the owner but she has been secretly ogling him from afar for months driving all the way across town to his gym just to watch Zac work out . They are suddenly thrown together when a snow storm hits the area and traps Aurora at the club with a dead vehicle. Zak offers to give her a ride back to her house but they never make it the storm is too bad so he takes her to his house and man the chemistry between the two is instantaneous and combustible! Just when you think you know what is going to happen fate steps in again when Zak’s kids arrive unexpectedly and they meet Aurora. They fall in love with her as much as she falls in love with them. I totally loved the interaction and story of the kids and Aurora, it melts your heart!
There are a number of circumstances that come into play that causes a big riff between Zak & Aurora and that riff also pulls on the kids and their love for their dad and for Aurora. Their love for each other happens quickly but mixed in with the spirit of Christmas is so apparent in this story they both steal your heart from the first page. You also get to see some of the characters from the first four books of the series and I really like this because you get to see how their lives, their loves, kids, family, etc. are going, they are not forgotten. I love that Whitley keeps you involved in the previous four books as she writes this holiday romance! I totally loved this book! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
Wintery Blizzard outside but steamy heat inside for Zak and “Rory”. But will their private hideaway be the perfect chance to further their unexpected romance or will the reality of family, friends, and unwanted exes interrupt their time? Zac’s strict adherence to routine, to clean living and to the truth is the basis of all his relationships. But Aurora’s life as a first year lawyer is shades of grey. Can the two opposing sides meet in the middle, or will the discovery of a secret push them apart?
This is the fifth book in the Single Dads of Seattle series and while it can easily be read on its own I think they are so much better read in order. I have been waiting for Zak’s story and it was a great addition to the series I thought Zak and Aurora were great together they had tons of chemistry and were just smoking hot. This is a really good sweet holiday romance
Zach owns Club Z a high end gym and he doesn’t mix business with pleasure. One night during a snowstorm he rescues Aurora a gym member and brings her home. Aurora is a first year partner at Liam’s law firm and doesn’t have a penny tober name. You see she helps take care of her parents and has huge students loan. Zach and Aurora have this connection and attraction to each other but when his kids come back home unexpectly as well as his grandparents. This is a christmas full of surprise. This is a story of two people who have a connection but his rigid rules can destroy what they can be. This marvelous story will leave you with feeling that when things look dire they can always get better.
Aurora has watched single dad Zak at the gym for 6 months now, and secretly wishing he would notice her. Then one day he finally does, and her car is buried in snow and will not start. While giving her a ride home, they hear the roads are closed down so he ends up taking her to his house. While getting to know each other, they can not fight the attraction and one kiss leads to another with a passionate night together. The next morning his ex wife ends up dropping the kids off early and they end up falling in love with her. The more time they spend together, the more she comes to love him, his family, and friends. Will their new relationship be able to withstand a few little white lies? Zak’s kids Aiden and Tia were precious. Whitley Cox has a great way of making you feel the emotions of every character especially the kids. I am really loving the Single Dads of Seattle series and I can not wait to read Emmett’s story.
