Will a Christmas love built on lies melt away just as surely as the snow?Welcome to Seattle, the Emerald City and home to The Single Dads of Seattle. Ten sexy single fathers who play poker every Saturday night, have each other’s backs, love their children without quarter, and hope to one day find love again. This is Zak’s story … Single Dad of Seattle, Zak Eastwood plans to spend Christmas with … Eastwood plans to spend Christmas with fellow lonely hearts. His kids are supposed to be at an amusement park with their mom. However, fate has other plans. When a woman from his club finds herself stranded in the snow, he takes her to safety.
Drowning in student loan debt and her father’s medical bills, first-year law associate Aurora Stratford allows herself but one splurge–a pricey membership to Club Z Fitness to watch the gorgeous Zak flex his muscles. Though out of her league, fantasizing about his blue eyes and tattoos is the only thing that keeps her sane these days, especially since her Christmas will be spent alone with her dead cactus and money woes.
When the snowstorm of the century moves in and the hero of her dreams offers her a ride and a place to stay, Aurora’s Christmas begins to look up. However, Aurora is ashamed of her current financial state–she’s nobody’s charity chase–and her lies of self-preservation begin to take on a life of their own.
Can Aurora spend Christmas with the single dad and win over everyone? Or will her deceit get in the way of not only their happy holiday but her happily ever after?
**Note: This book can be read as a standalone. It includes lots of steamy scenes, cursing, and of course as with all my books, this has an HEA and no cliffhanger or cheating. If you like single dads who take charge, this book is for you.

Emotional and fascinating!
I felt that the author had a special ability of conveying depth in the personalities, bringing life and likability to each character.
The writing draws you in and keeps you interested until the end.
The chemistry between the H and h is great plus their attitudes and events going on make the story even richer.

In this book we meet Aurora Leanne Stratford and Zachary “Zac” Ryan Eastwood. Aurora typically works 80 hours a week as an associate at a law firm. She gives all her extra money to her parents since her father’s heart attack that left him unable to work. She has no time to date so her one guilty pleasure is staring at Zac at the gym she goes to. Is it conveniently close to home no is is close to work no but Zac is there and that is why she paid for the lifetime membership. One night close to Christmas she decides she has had enough of the one girl in the gym no matter how much she works out makes her feel bad. So in stead of giving up her machine and cowering away she decides enough is enough. This however has her running late and by the time she gets out of the shower it is dark outside. Lucky for her Zac is leaving late as well so when he car dies he is there to rescue her. Zac knows he should know this woman who is having car trouble it is his gym after all but he just doesn’t know her name. That doesn’t mean he isn’t going to find it out. So when her car breaks down he figures he has the perfect opportunity to play white knight. What Zac likes even better she has no clue he is the owner of the gym. The one thing Zac can’t stand though is a liar after dealing with all the lies from his ex he is done. When it comes out and she has secrets that haven’t been revealed will it be HEA in the end or a great downfall with no end in site?
This is an amazing story. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don’t want to ruin the story for any other readers. I will say this book will have you emotionally hooked into these characters from the first page to the very end. I would highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone.
Well written, fast paced. interesting, cute. It pulls you in and keeps your interest. It is a fun happy read. I recommend it to all. I received it from booksprout and this is my voluntary review.
Aurora, a first year law associate and Zak, single dad and gym owner. It seems Aurora has been a fan of his for awhile, he is the reason she joined that particular gym. She lives and works on the other side of town, but considers seeing him her “guilty pleasure.” A couple of days before Christmas, she stays late at the gym ends up nearly stranded in the parking lot as they have had a major snowstorm. As she is trying to dig her car out, with her bare hands, a large truck pulls up and offers her aid. It is Zak. He digs her car out, but when she tries to start it, it makes a loud noise and starts smoking. Zak offers to take her home, but when he hears the traffic report and considers where she lives, he offers her a room at his house, promising that he is not a creeper, or anything like that. As with all the Single Dad books, I really enjoyed this. Ms. Cox writes some steamy scenes, but one of the best parts of her books is that she is not afraid to talk about sometimes difficult issues. When you read this book, and you should, you will love his kids. Thank you Ms. Cox for the journey into your imagination.

I enjoyed this new “Single Dads of Seattle” story! Great characters and wonderful story-line! The plot and characters really pull suck you in. Zak and Aurora are so perfect for each other if they can get past the lies and deception. Zak has worked hard to build his business and provide for his family. His wife decided she wanted other things, burning him in the process and now he is a single father of two wonderful kids. Aurura is a new attorney, with major money problems, a sick father and the only things she splurges on for herself is a membership to Zak’s gym. She is leaving the gym in the middle of an epic snow storm when he rescues her and offers her a ride and place to stay. As the story develops so does the passion and the lies. This story is fun with some drama, angst and sexiness. A nicely weaved story from beginning to end.
This was an amazing Christmas romance. The characters were fantastic and I loved how the book played out. I could not put it down and I would recommend it to others!!

Aurora is a lawyer trying to become a junior partner. The only thing she has splurged on is her gym membership where she gets to ogle Zak and all his muscles. Getting stuck in a snowstorm at the gym is her worst nightmare until Zak offers her a ride. With the accidents and roads closed, Zak offers to take her back to his place until it all blows over. Reluctantly she agrees. As he is taking his shower, Aurora makes a move on Zak and kisses him. That leads to a lot of making out until his kids show up, then his grandparents, then his friends. How does he explain Aurora to all of them. What happens when her boss shows up and her lies (by omission) are revealed? One thing Zak can’t stand are liars!!

Christmas with the Single Dad is the beginning of a beautiful relationship between my ereader and great storytelling. Aurora and Zak are a beautiful distraction for open hearts everywhere. Love found the right people at the wrong time. Can fate show them that happy endings are more than just a fantasy. Cox delivers hope that leaves a real, lasting impact on the heart.
LOVED!! I’m so glad we got Zak’s book! I’ve been so curious about him as I’ve read the other books in the series. It was interesting to get a deeper look into his life, and I loved watching him & Aurora get together! Man, Zak is one kinky guy! **blushes** I thought it was great seeing him and Aurora both learn to get past their issues and find their HEA. Such a wonderful addition to the series!
PS- That epilogue had me sobbing!!
This was a sensationally romantic story with so much heart. Zach is a single father of two and gym owner who is jaded and doesn’t condone lying because of a drama filled divorce. Aurora is a first year lawyer who struggles emotionally and financially following terrible relationships and past heartache. When a freak snow storm leaves them stranded together, a six month attraction finally comes to a head. Christmas with the Single Dad is a captivating new book in the Single Dads of Seattle series from Whitley Cox filled with heartache, anger, forgiveness, healing, passion, match making kids, friends that tell it how it is, and love. This is a must read that readers won’t want to put down with wonderful characters readers will fall in love with. I have loved reading this series and I can’t wait for the next book in the series.

I loved this book. It had everything I wanted.
Whitley Cox is a new author to me, and I am glad I took a chance.
I loved Aurora and Zak. It may have started off as helping a customer out in the snow. But it turned out okay.
I can’t wait to read more of this author.

This is one of my favourite series of 2019 and just when you think it can’t get any better we Christmas with the Single Dad and we are back with the single dads of Seattle at my favourite time of the year.
Zac Eastwood has been burnt before and he is adamant love and relationships are not for him all he cares about are his two adorable kids and building his fitness business but life is about to be turned upside down for Zac when a snowstorm hits town and he finds himself coming to the rescue of one of his gym members Aurora (Rory). Rory has been attracted to Zac from the moment she met him but deep down she thinks he is completely out of her league until the night he rescues her from the side of the road, what follows is two people getting to know each other but sometimes we lie for self preservation and one thing Zac hates is a liar so can this couple find the magic and the most magical time of the year ……….
This book ticked all my boxes, a couple with sizzling chemistry, adorable kids and let’s not forget catching up with the members of my favourite club the single dads of Seattle. I laughed, I smiled,I sighed and I fanned myself quite a lot as I read this beautifully written love story and I’m sure you will too. This book can be read as a stand-alone but I’m sure you will want to read all of this great series with hot loveable men and their adorable kids.
Zak and Rory are my favorite to date! Hot and steamy are not strong enough to describe this book! A freak blizzard has the couple snowed in at Zak’s house and Santa couldn’t have granted Rory a better Christmas gift! Unfortunately before long the couple’s love nest starts to get over crowded with unexpected arrivals. Add kids, grandparents and a plethora of friends to this party and of course disaster will strike. With the help of his wise beyond their years children, can Zak fix his mistakes?
I’m loving these single dad series!
Zak was jaded after his wife cheated on him and left him and his kids. Trust doesn’t come easily for him after that and one little lie would tick him. Because of that, he doesn’t have the intention date anyone. This Christmas, he was supposed to spend it alone as his ex had other plans with his kids.
Aurora has been admiring Zak from afar for six months. She has been struggling with her family, her study, and in the relationship department. The last thing she thought would happen was spending Christmas with his crush.
I like how this was less heavy drama than Aaron’s story. There’s no unnecessary drama and pretty straight-forward story line. I loved the pace of the story but I kind of want Aurora and Zak to get to know each other better before diving straight to the good stuff (if you know what I mean)
If you love single dad trope, then you’ll love these series!
