In fact, he makes me regret ever leaving the house. One wrong step and I fall—hard. Who’s there to save me? None other than Max. Seeing him again brings back so many memories. One, in particular, brings tears to my eyes—the day I … brings tears to my eyes—the day I ended us.

However, returning to Max means choosing a road I never thought I’d take again.
Maxton
I always know when Shaine’s home on break from college. Every part of my being goes on high alert the second she enters Cringle Cove. She was once mine, but not anymore.
That is until I find her on the ground in pain. Ice happens.
With her suddenly near, I have to fight the constant urge to wrap my arms around her and kiss her. We aren’t the same people we used to be.
We have a lot to work through. Hearts to mend. If Shaine is my Christmas gift, it’ll be worth all the pain.
This will be one long week.
Every book in The Cringle Cove Christmas Chronicles can be read as a standalone and in any order.

Maxton and Shaine were the perfect couple, they just needed to overcome numerous large obstacles. Good storyline that flowed well with vibrant characters. This was my first time read with this author, but won’t be the last. Good slow burn romance.

A heartwarming beautiful second chance Christmas romance. The storyline is flawless, funny, witty, well-written, quite enjoyable, and very interesting. The story flows smoothly and moves along at a brisk pace with excitement and a mix of emotions on every page. The chemistry between the main characters is intense and hot with sparks flying everywhere. Definitely recommended!

Coming home to a town that goes WAY beyond the Christmas spirit means torture for Shaine, but then add in the man she left behind when she left for college and you have the recipe for a spicy second chance romance. Maxton’s been trying for years to forget her and she’s regretted leaving him behind. In Ms. Dare’s fashion she runs her characters through the gamut of circumstances and emotions before their HEA. This holiday novella is a delightful addition to her bookshelf.
Who doesn’t love a Christmas story? Even better who doesn’t love a Christmas Story with a happy high school sweetheart love story? I know I DO!!!
This book is just what the doctor ordered or should I say chiropractor .
Maxton and Shaine are high school sweethearts, but when Shaine left for college she broke not only her heart but Max’s. Every time she comes home to Cringle Cove she is reminded of the love she had and lost. But one unfortunate accident has her having to come face to face with her one true love. Can Shaine and Max overcome the past and move forward together? You’ll have to read this book to find out…
I really enjoyed reading this book… The characters and story was well written. I loved the spunk and chemistry between Max and Shaine. I am hopefully wishing we may get more of their story in the future…
This was a great fast paced story which got you sucked in straight away and got you wrapped up in the romance between these two people! Will the magic of Christmas break in Cringle help them over come their past??

Shaine and Maxton made one huge mistake yrs ago, they gave up the love they had. Now in the same town same time it’s time to fight for what they both want. Loved this cute little Christmas story there is no better time to rekindle a love then over Christmas.
Shaine Prescott and Maxton Kenrick were high school sweethearts who lived in Cringle Cove. Christmas is Cringle
Cove is like a winter wonderland. Before Shaine left for college she broke Maxton’s heart by ending their relationship. She thought the grass would be greener on the other side. She quickly realized she made a huge mistake and wanted Max back but he would not give in to her.
Here it is, years later and they finally run into each other again. Max actually rescues Shaine whe. She falls on ice and injures her back. Both are still very much I love with each other but are afraid to make the first move. Will they be able to pick up where they left off? It has been years since they have been together. Trust is a huge factor in a relationship and Shaine walks in to find a situation and flips out. Will Max be able to tell her the truth or is Shaine to mad to hear him out. There are a few tears shed by Shaine throughout this book but sometimes a girl needs that to break through her rough exterior and really go after what she wants.
I thought this was a great book however in the beginning I wasn’t a fan of Shaine’s.
This story has three of my favorite things! 1) The setting takes place at Christmas, 2) It’s a second chance romance story, and 3) It’s written by Michelle Dare! Her stories are always like visiting old friends even when you haven’t even met them yet.
Shaine broke Max’s heart when she left for college. She was led to believe she couldn’t have a boyfriend and live the “college life”, so she broke up with him. When she realized her mistake she tried to get him back, but he wasn’t interested. Because of that, whenever she’s visiting home she stays close to her mom’s house so she won’t accidentally run into Max. But, on her latest trip home for Christmas she falls on ice and of course who is the knight in shining armor of all people, but Max!
This was such a great story! It was a quick read, yet it had all the elements of a full story (not rushed, details left out)!
If you love second chances you’ll love this book. It’s a quick read and a lovely story. I love Christmas time stories and this one doesn’t disappoint. As always this author is fantastic and did a great job bringing the characters to life.

I do not read many Christmas themed novels or stories but their were a few authors that got me to read theirs as this was one of them. This one was a quick and delightful read that had me rooting for a second chance louder than I have in a long time. Shaine and Max are like two peas running away but this time something will be a bit different. Follow them getting pulled on the edge in a good way cheering them along. This relationship will give you the fuzzies and leave you feeling more than good.
This is a quick holiday read that I highly recommend for fans of the second chance romances. Shaine broke up with Maxton before leaving for college tearing him apart. Now back in town for the holidays they meet again. Is there still a chance or is it over. This is a story about growing up and finding your way.
