Event planner Violet Calhoun lives to deck the halls, and her quaint Southern hometown’s fiftieth annual Tinsel Tour will be the event of the season. With a magazine crew on hand to document Peach Grove’s transformation into a winter wonderland, this year’s festivities have got to be the holly-est, jolliest yet. She does not have the time to deal with a Grinch–even a gorgeous one like Brady … Jackson.
Divorce attorney Brady has plans to divest himself of his family’s ancestral mansion and be back at his Atlanta firm by New Year’s. Hanging so much as a wreath on the door is not a part of that plan. Nor is dealing with an annoying–though undeniably adorable–elf.
But Violet is all about making holiday magic happen. As they work together to stage Brady’s historic house, the town grump reveals he’s more sexy than Scrooge. And after some mind-blowing kisses, what starts as a Christmas flirtation starts to feel more like a year-round affair…

Small town Christmas magic! Jules Bennett brings the Christmas spirit in droves with her sweet and feisty holiday romance set in small town Peach Grove, Georgia. The characters are a joy to read with quite the compelling connection and the town is simply delightful. It’s a bit slow in spots, but you are sure to raise your Christmas spirit with a dash through these pages!
Violet is adorable! She’s perky to the point of being cheesy, but she’s so good-hearted that you can’t dislike her one single bit.
Brady has his reasons for being hardnosed when he first arrives in town, but it doesn’t take long for Violet to carve a home for herself in his heart.
I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a quaint small town filled with interwoven characters and holiday traditions as love is in the air all around.
OH MY HEART! I love Christmas and I LIVE FOR CHRISTMAS ROMANCE (yes I am shouting LOL). Jules relived ten fold. Brady just pulled at my heart. He didn’t want to be home but he had to come there to sell his Grandfathers house. I love that Violet was ALL Christmas. I love how she made it magical. I loved their chemistry. I love when she surprised him with the special gift and the ending the BEST. I will be re-reading this for sure.a
This was a cute, entertaining read to make me wish for the holidays. Brady and Violet aren’t quite on opposite sides of the Christmas decoration war, but Brady’s certainly not 100% on board with Violet and her plan. That is, he’s not until she outmaneuvers him and he suddenly finds himself going along with anything she wants. They both know that this dalliance of theirs is only temporary, but they’re not anticipating the depth of their feelings for each other. They just need to both face their fears about being the only one voicing their feelings to make it all work. And it’s not the person you’d think who opens their mouth and puts their heart on the line first, either. But it’s a good thing that risk is taken because they both manage to find their happiness in the most unexpected way.
Violet loves all things Christmas. She has a Christmas shop in town and also is in charge of the Tinsel Tours. This year is the 50th Anniversary. William and his wife started the tours, now they both have passed and his grandson Brady owns the house.
Brady is a divorce attorney in Atlanta and has come go town to clean out the house and sell it.
Loved the book. Its a cute story about the most magical time of the year.
Christmas on Peach Tree Lane by Jules Bennett is an wonderful read about an Event Planner Violet Calhoun and Divorce Lawyer Brady Jackson. Brady doesn’t know what hit him when he met whirlwind Christmas holiday lover Violet. For you see Brady isn’t really into Christmas. Brady is just back home to sell the family ancestral home but Violet wants to use it for Christmas. I encourage you to read this enjoyable book to see how Violet changes Brady’s mind and they reach their HEA. This book also has a cast of secondary characters that didn’t disappoint me, so enjoyable! A hit in my book!
I received an ARC for an honest review.
It took me a little bit to get into Violet and Brady’s story, but once I did I began to consume it quickly. Violet was bubbly and very into Christmas and Brady was a workaholic on a forced leave. Violet’s gentle but not so subtle way of convincing Brady showed she had compassion and drive. The way these two started falling for each other was gentle and sweet. Now that I’ve finished this wonderful story, I’d really love to get Violet’s friends stories.
“Christmas on Peach Tree Lane” by Jules Bennett is THE feel-good holiday romance of the season.
Violet Calhoun is the embodiment of Christmas spirit. She’s in charge of Peach Grove’s Tinsel Tour and needs the home of Brady Jackson for the tour to be a success.
Brady is in town on a forced leave from his job in Atlanta and to settle his grandfather’s estate, the man who invented the Tinsel Tour fifty years ago. The last thing he needs is this spirited woman in his life.
But being the holiday, Violet and Brady will have to decide if their relationship can last beyond the magic of the season.
Ms. Bennett pens an engaging read featuring the grumpy-sunshine trope that also displays her own love of the holidays.
Sweet small-town holiday story with a bit of heat and a whole bunch of Christmas spirit. With the death of the town’s leading citizen, William Jackson, Violet is wholly in charge of planning this year’s Tinsel Tour. Violet is determined that the fiftieth-anniversary tour will be the best ever, especially since a magazine crew is documenting every step. She needs the Jackson mansion because of its importance to the tour. She doesn’t need gorgeous but Grinchy Brady Jackson getting in her way.
Attorney Brady arrived in Peach Grove on a forced vacation after a public blow-up with another attorney. A workaholic with no idea what to do with his days, Brady intends to clear out the house and put it up for sale as quickly as he can. He doesn’t expect a steamroller disguised as an elf to upend his plans.
I enjoyed the development of the relationship between Brady and Violet. Brady arrived in town exhausted, dejected, and riddled with guilt over not visiting his grandfather as often as he should have. Keeping the old homeplace makes no sense with his busy life in the city but facing the memories steeped in every room increases the guilt and pain. Violet’s appearance in all her antler-wearing Christmas perkiness rubbed him the wrong way, and he flat-out refused her plans for the house. I loved his confusion as she rolls right past his objections, and within a couple of days, finds himself agreeing not just to her plans but also to helping her.
Over the next several weeks, Brady and Violet work together to stage his house for the tour. I loved seeing Violet’s capacity for fun rub off on Brady. He has been so focused on work for so long that he’s forgotten what it is like to enjoy life. I loved seeing Violet bring out that side of him with the help of an adorable puppy and reminders of small-town life. With the amount of time they spend together, it’s no wonder that the sparks of attraction between them grow stronger and deepen into something more. Though both of them realize that Brady will return to the city by the New Year, it doesn’t stop them from taking advantage of every moment they have together. There were so many fantastic scenes of them together, from stargazing to reading his grandparents’ letters, from teasing to kisses, that it was easy to see Brady undergo something of a transformation. Though he’s still focused on his return to Atlanta, it’s also apparent that Violet and the rest of the town have gotten under his skin. I ached for Violet when he left, her pride keeping her from telling him how she felt. However, Christmas magic being what it is, I loved the ending. Brady’s big moment was romantic, emotional, and beautiful.
The secondary characters were fantastic. Violet’s best friends, Robin and Simone, were an excellent blend of support and common sense. I loved how the three of them were so determined to breathe life back into their town, though Violet seems to be the engine driving that train. It was fun to see them rein Violet in when she would fade out or get carried away. I would love to see them get their own stories. I also liked Violet’s mom. They have an excellent relationship, and the additional activities of planning Lori’s wedding added to Violet’s life at a dead run vibe. I also loved Brady’s kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Brady, who had several sweet scenes with him.
Christmas on Peach Tree Lane is a Christmas story by Jules Bennett. It started out extremely slow for me and I put it down several times. When I finally got into it, I did enjoy the connection between Violet and Brady. I received an advance copy which I chose to review. This is my honest opinion.
Love this small-town Christmas romance! Violet and Brady are an unlikely match, but as Brady is in town for a month for an unwelcomed break, he sees the small-town charm that he remembers growing up. Violet, lover of all things Christmas, is just the person to show Brady that a small town is wonderful place to live. Violet, along with her best friends who are like sisters, are reviving the town into its once former glory. This heartwarming story is a page turner, and is Jules best book yet. Hope this book is the first of a series because I defiantly want to be back in town with these friends to see what happens next in their lives!
This is a slow moving romance but so worth the read. Violet loves everything about Christmas and looks forward to decorating every year. Brady is the opposite, he doesn’t care about Christmas and only wants to sell his family’s ancestral home so he can go back to work. Violet is horrified that he plans on selling the estate since that house is the highlight for the town’s Christmas house show which she’s in charge of.
I really loved this story, and I would rate it more than 5-stars if I could. The quotes from Violet at the beginning of every chapter were great. I also enjoyed the trio of friends, Violet, Simone, and Robin and of course Mama Lori. This group of ladies is awesome, and I would love to hang out with them. I was pulled into the story and wondered what Brody would decide to do with not only the house but his job as well. I really felt for him especially when you knew he was struggling with a lot of things when he arrived. This was a great story, and I would love to go on the Tinsel Tour and see all the houses decked out for the season. Perfect Christmas story.
What a cute, sweet, Christmassy cover. And speaking of that holiday, Violet has soooo much Christmas spirit! Like she’s a holly jolly elf mixed with an energizer bunny and a savvy business woman who won’t take no for an answer. Poor Brady never stood a chance. Not that he seemed to mind, because these two fell hard and fast.
Brady is one of those guys who only works all the time, doesn’t have time for dating or small towns or pets. A couple weeks in Peach Tree Lane is all he really needed though. This has all the classic feel good holiday romance vibes goin. Not super angsty, kinda cute and sweet and a bit funny. I really enjoyed it.
I love Ms. Bennett’s books so I was excited to read this one.
While it was somewhat slower than I’m used to from her in the beginning, it really picked up after a few chapters and was a very enjoyable holiday read. I love small towns and Peach Grove is no exception.
While Violet and Brady seem somewhat adversarial in the beginning, they can’t help the pull they both feel towards each other. And they truly enjoy spending time together. Luna is a wonderful addition to the story!
I truly enjoyed how this book showed that when you find the one, sometimes the things you thought you always wanted can change in an instant and for the better.
What a wonderfully written heartfelt Christmas story by Jules Bennett. The story pulls you in from the first page. Violet loves Christmas and she is running the tour of homes this year. The main house he owner has passed. She always helped him. This is the 50th year this has been going on..Violet wants to make it special but the home owners grandson, Brady is a curmudgen. But Violet has a way with people and soon gets him to agree to everything..
I don’t how many times I giggled and laughed reading this story. If you love a good Christmas story this is the one for you! You won’t be able to put it down. I promise.
Jules weaves a story that keeps you interested and begging for more. Throw in Christmas and it makes it that more special. The words come off the page as if they are a movie you are watching. A must read, holiday read for this year with everything that has went on. Let the book take you away to a beautiful engrossing story.
I really enjoyed this holiday story.
Violet is the quintessential lover of christmas and Brady is a workaholic. He comes back after his grandfather’s passing on a forced vacation. Violet needs his house for her Christmas tour.
The give and take between these two is great.
Christmas on Peach Tree Lane is a quick, sweet, fun holiday read. I enjoyed it.
Such a cute read! The story line is adorable as whirlwind Violet meets an almost unmovable rock Brady. The characters are strong and determined but soon develop an undeniable attraction. Really an enjoyable read you won’t want to miss.
I voluntarily read and reviewed this book; all opinions expressed are my own.
I love this book. Thank you so much I thank you for letting me review it.
I love this town. I wish i lived in a town like Peach Grove. It shows how the holidays can break through the wall around your heart.
Violet is a beautiful and wonderful person. I did scream at her a few times by not telling Brady how she feels and vis versa. I want more. Oh and i wish I had that wonderful home.
It’s always heartwarming when the Christmas romances start flowing in! Christmas on Peach Tree Lane was a wonderful Christmas romance written by the lovely author Jules Bennett. An opposites-attract romance that will hit you in your feels!
The main characters, Violet and Brady, were a water and oil sort of mix…She was all about Christmas, he was kind of Grinchy.
This holiday romance was full of fun, strong characters, had an enjoyably festive storyline, and written by a wonderful author. I love the cover and the backstory and the small town energy. I recommend this for anyone who wants a great small-town Hallmarkish Christmas romance! 4 Christmas tree topping stars!
