This is a 4-book set, and it’s wonderful! All the stories are holiday-themed, and they’re sweet and clean little romances. This is a good afternoon read, and I thoroughly enjoyed the set. My favorite is The Christmas Movie Date. A teacher and divorced architect are alone this year, and they’re both a little sad. They meet at a movie festival at the local theater, and a friendship blossoms. I particularly like that the chapter titles are the date and the movie that they see.

The stories in this collection were so sweet and interesting. Each one tugged at my heart and had a little bit of drama to make it exciting. Good characters that grab you and make you cheer for their HEA’s. Sweet stories.

A delightful Christmas story collection. I enjoyed every one of them.
*The Christmas Movie Date, by Megan Mayfair
Annabelle and John meet casually as they both fill their time with movies at the old time movie theater in Cathedral Springs. Before you know it, they’re both looking forward to seeing the other, without even knowing names or addresses! Just when things start to go places, interference may derail it all.
*A Kiss for Christmas Eve, by Jayne Kingsley
Cara is not going to go down easy! Her landlord wants to sell her beloved shop and she just knows it’ll be bad for the town. Noah has to come back to town to sell it due to his grandmother’s will, but never thought he’d find himself wanting to stay again. Cara’s determination, and his family and even the Town help him to see he can be happy, at home again in Cathedral Springs.
*All I Want, by Stella Quinn
Adam is a up and coming metalwork artist that’s burned out. His godmother gives him the perfect out, to make a replica bell for a historical society renovation project she’s in charge of, and he takes the opportunity to run away. He needs peace and no deadlines so he can rediscover the spark that feeds his talent He meets Prue, a tightly strung university lecturer and student of early American architecture. She’s in the middle of finishing her thesis and needs a project to report on. They’re at opposite ends for what they need.

This was a great collection of short Christmas books that leave you feeling warm and fuzzy all over!
*The Christmas Movie Date, by Megan Mayfair
I think this is my favorite as Annabelle and John meet without anyone’s interference and fall for each other because they don’t have the pressure of having to behave a certain way, instead they get to sit back, watch a movie and slowly open up to each other. I finished this one with a big smile on my face and think Johns daughter is one we smart cookie too!
*A Kiss for Christmas Eve, by Jayne Kingsley
I loved how feisty Cara is and with Noah you could see how torn he was about selling but that he was haunted by something and he needed Cara to show him that his past wasn’t that bad and that Cathedral Springs could be home again. It was touch and go for a while but withe Cara’s determination as well as his family and the Town he got to see he can be happy an have love.
*All I Want, by Stella Quinn
Lol Adam and Prue definitely lived by priorities and urgency and that was what they both needed as they forgot who they really were and what they wanted in life and gosh I loved the scene with the baby bells. This really was a story and stepping back and finding out what you really want in life and how happy you can be when you do what you really want and have love.
*Unwrapping her Heart, by Marianne Bayliss
This was so sad with how much Alexandra had withdrawn into herself after a totally unintentional accident and how Jake hid his true feelings for her while doing what he thought he needed to prove he was a great chef not realizing how good he really is. You feel how torn Alexandra is knowing what Jake is trying to do and struggling with what she really wants and breaking the wall she has created. Jake is so sweet with the dedication he has he to Alexandra and the need for her to start to really feel again… so swoon worthy!

Four stories by different authors – what they have in common is that they started out as lonely before Christmas, but a chance encounter brings two people together to have a great Christmas time – and hopefully a happily ever after after Christmas.
The stories are fairly short, well-written and entertaining, helping the reader to get into the Christmas Dreaming of a wonderful time and lots of magic around this season.

Four great Christmas stories that I will be reading again. The stories are The Christmas Movie Date, by Megan Mayfair, A Kiss for Christmas Eve, by Jayne Kingsley, All I Want, by Stella Quinn, and Unwrapping her Heart, by Marianne Bayliss. All New Authors to me and I will be looking for more by each Author. These are all short quick stories to read. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
As with any anthology there are obviously some stories I liked better than others, but all had well written plots. The characters were likable, and situations realistic. Some moved slower than others and some were a bit more… suggestive than others although nothing steamy was written on the page.
A collection of short stories by 4different authors. Stories took place in the same small town which I liked. In most of the stories, the main characters were well developed and relatable. These were sweet, but there were a few cuss words scattered occasionally in a couple of the stories which was a turn off for me. Needless to say, I enjoyed some of the stories more than others.
This is a collection of four sweet Christmas novellas. The stories all take place in Cathedral Springs. A couple of the stories were rather slow paced and I would have liked a little more insight into the characters.

Christmas on Hope Street is a collection of shorter length stories by four AU authors. These are my first reads. I would have enjoyed these stories more if they had been set in Oz instead of the States, I live here and know all about my country. The authors did do a great job with old fashioned small town living and values. I found this book on Booksprout. 4*
Megan Mayfair, The Christmas Movie Date – I enjoyed this sweet romance with three wonderful characters that made the story delightful and heartwarming. Intelligent characters with mature dialog; no stupidity or drama. Yes, Die Hard is a Christmas movie. 4*
Jayne Kingsley, A Kiss for Christmas Eve – Another sweet romance with good storylines and good characters. The townsfolk are a good part of this story, which makes you wish these towns still existed as a whole instead of pieces here and there dying out with the older generations passing and new people moving in clueless on how to be part of a whole or sharing the same values. 4*
Stella Quinn, All I Want – I almost did not read this story; I could not get into Prue. So I dropped the story and came back to it the next day. Already exposed to Prue, I got past her and into the story, which I ended up enjoying quite a bit.
The characters are decent people and their storylines are interesting. The author does a good job vividly showing the reader the locations and the events as well as all the emotions of everyone. 4*
Marianne Bayliss, Unwrapping Her Heart – I did not care for Lexi and stopped mid-way in chapter nine. Otherwise, the story had good characters and storylines to that point. Not rated.
Everyone needs some hope at Christmas
Christmas on Hope Street: A Sweet Romance Anthology contains 4 short stories by Jayne Kingsley, Megan Mayfair, Stella Quinn and Marianne Bayliss. As I had not read any books by a couple of the authors I was not sure what to expect. I had also picked this up last Christmas but for some reason did not get around to reading it at the time so ended up waiting to read it this holiday season. These short stories were all well written, sweet and fun. The characters were delightful and the story-lines were all Christmas themed but with a little something extra.
