Reputations are hard to come by in the big city and hard to lose in small towns…Celia Roberts, the owner of the Hummingbird Inn has it all … almost. She has a wonderful son and a business she loves. Though challenged to make ends meet, she’s come a long way from the tough times she endured as a teenage mom. With the busy Christmas season ahead, things are looking up, until Scrooge himself … himself arrives intent on putting a huge resort next to her inn—a resort destined to put her out of business.
Wealthy business developer Rob McKenna is coming back home to the tiny town of Pinetop, Colorado to tie up loose ends. After the death of his mother, he’s inherited her Victorian home, her dog, and hundreds of acres of land he plans to develop into a resort and sell. It all seems so simple until he runs into Celia Roberts. In high school, she was the “it” girl, and he was nobody. She dated the bully, and he was the target. Now he’s back, and she’s single, and as beautiful as ever. However, she’s the only thing standing between him and his plan to get in, get rich, and get out of town.
He wants to move the small town into the future. She wants to preserve the past. Can the magic of Christmas leave them both with full hearts and bright futures or will one of them end up with nothing under the tree?

Hallmark-esque story of the small town business woman vs the boy who left town and comes back to change the small town. There’s a meet cute, a compromise and they fall in love. I liked this story, not as much as
The Trouble with
Tinsel, which is previewed at the end of this story, and which I read first, but it was a cute story to get you into the holiday spirit.
Celia Roberts and her son Jackson live to make ends meet, she owns the Hummingbird Inn and raises her son alone after her ex-husband leaves them.
Rob McKenna is a business developer, and when he inherites his mother’s land in the small town of Pinetop, he plans to develop the land in a resort and sell. But when he meets Celia, things won’t be as simple as he imagined.
Despite the instant chemistry between them, Celia is afraid to get involved and have her heart broken again. But as they work together to make the festival happen, Celia and Rob decide to give their feelings a try, and with Jackson’s help, everything gets smoother.
I loved the story and the characters.

Kelly Collins has a way of creating beautiful small town romances and Christmas Inn Love is no different. Celia is a single mom of a kind hearted and enlightened teenage boy who owns an inn in her hometown. Rob is a land developer who returns home following the passing of his mother. As these two begin to spend time together feelings blossom into something stronger neither Rob nor Celia expected. Christmas Inn Love is a fantastic sweet romance story filled with witty humor, heartache, childish tantrums, passion, friendship, insta-love and family, misunderstandings, and love. This is a captivating must read that readers won’t want to put down and wonderful characters readers will fall in love with. I absolutely loved reading this new book from Kelly Collins and I can&’t wait to read more.

What a sweet small town second chance single parent Christmas romance. I loved the characters and the story line. Once again Kelly gave me a book I couldn’t put down!
This is a great holiday romance! I really love the way she makes you feel when you read her books, makes you feel like you wanna be there. Read this book to find out Celia and Robs chemistry. This is a book you will want to finish .and not put down til the end. I recommend as a must read, I received this book for a honest review.
Cilia was trying to keep her Inn afloat for her and her son. Rob came back to town and sparks started to fly. But was that good or bad? This book made me laugh and cry. I loved the characters and the town. Great read

Celia and Rob are great although lordy do they not know how to talk to each other! This story draws you in and you get to laugh, cringe, want to slap heads as well as giggle and hope that Celia and Rob get them selves sorted out and see what they can have. I will be honest the development Rob had in mind did worry me as well as Celia’s admirer as both interfered a lot and pushed them apart at times. This is the perfect Christmas read to leave you with warm fuzzies and wanting to know more about the other in the town!

A great romance between Rob and Celia, two people who knew each other in H.S. Rob was bullied back then by Celia’s boyfriend and back then Rob had a crush on her. Years later he’s back in the small town and plans to build a resort, a resort that will hurt Celia’s business which provides for herself and her teenage son. The two but heads in the beginning, but as they start to spend more time together, their feelings grow.
A great romance that had me smiling from ear to ear and a romance that is so believable, it could be a biography of anyone I might have known. I LOVED the little to no drama between them, and the drama that did happen, was believable. I also LOVED the no running away by Rob or hiding his feelings. The epilogue had me smiling even wider and her son…what a great young man. A great holiday romance just in time for the season.

This book is about Rob and Celia along with her son Jackson. The book starts funny with Celia not expecting anyone and counting her blessings for what she has in order to not get overwhelmed with what she does not have. Celia is not expecting anyone, so when she hears a knock on her door, she is not expecting a gorgeous man to be standing there, but the worst thing is that he does not recognize her and she feels awful. They get off on the wrong foot, but seem attracted to each other. Rob is a developer and is there as his mother passed away and left him a lot of land to develop on. She is not happy, as he will ruin her business of the INN in town. Her son Jackson takes a liking to Rob and thinks he is the coolest man on earth especially as he is without a father, and with that, she becomes mama bear and making sure that her son is not let down, but things turn a different way and everyone becomes a family. I will not give out what each of them went through to get to the happy ending, but note that it was very sweet and you do have someone trying to get in the middle of that happiness.

A sweet holiday, small town romance that is wonderful to read. Wonderful characters who feel like family when you’re finished with the book. Celia is running her inn in the small town of Pinetop, Colorado and is committed to her inn and her town. Rob returns to town after inheriting his mother’s victorian home and all the land around it. His plans are to develop it in to a full resort, right next to Celia’s property. As they disagree on the project and continue to stand up to each other, the sparks between them start to build. Will they be able to find common ground for each of their futures? A great heart warming romantic read.

This is another excellent story from Kelly Collins. The characters are charming and well developed. No big bad villain just a man with a vision different from the heroine’s. The drama and issues they work through to get their HEA will keep you turning the pages until the end.
This is a sweet, small town romance about Celia, a single mom trying to run her own bed and breakfast. Rob is also from the same small town and inherits the land next to the Hummingbird Inn from his mom who recently passed away. He decides he’s going to open a new resort, sell it and make lots of money but will his feelings for Celia and her son put a kink in his plans? Loved this fabulous small town, Christmas romance.
Favorite Quotes:
He needed a place to stay and his mother’s house would never do. Every wall held the voices of contempt and disappointment.
He’d probably make someone a nice boyfriend or even a husband. Sometimes Celia longed for one or the other, but she was glad she had neither. She came from the camp of once burned, always shy because twice shy wasn’t enough.
He thought it was too good to be true that Pinetop would have no memory of him being bullied for being a bastard. Reputations were hard to come by in the big city and hard to lose in small towns, but he wouldn’t lose sleep over it.
He knew a little something about moms. He’d had one too, but she was what they’d call a helicopter parent. A damn Military Apache Guardian. Quick and deadly. She saw everything. Knew everything. Her temper was like a heat-seeking missile. Never missed a thing except his unhappiness.
My Review:
This was a relatively light, quick, sweet, and easy to follow holiday read with an interesting mix of heart squeezes, snarky levity, family issues, and a sprinkling of romance. I enjoyed the mix of small-town characters and relevant and realistic family issues and backstories. I find myself sliding into a holiday frame of mind early this year.
A well written Christmas story that makes you believe anything can happen at this time of the year. I enjoyed reading Celia Roberts her son Jackson, and Rob McKenna’s story. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Rob was bullied in high school and I would have loved to see him walk into the reunion tall handsome and very successful. Celia dated the popular jock who bullied Rob and never grew up even when he became a father. After her experience with him, I wouldn’t have much trust in men either. But her son Jackson is a good respectful teen. And Rob is so thoughtful and understanding about their needs. The dog Lucky his mother left him is great with his boisterous personality, perfect for a teenage boy. This was a sweet, sexy, and funny holiday romance.
Christmas Inn Love is a small town, holiday romance. Celia is the owner of the Hummingbird Inn, mother to her teenage son, and loves the feel of her small town. Rob hates the town he grew up in, has big ideas to develop the land, and can’t seem to resist Celia. But will Celia push Rob away to protect her heart, or will she embrace the new changes Rob brings?
I have been craving a feel good holiday romance and this book checked every box I could have wished for! I really enjoyed Celia and Rob’s romance and loved getting to know more about both characters. Celia is so strong because of her past, but she’s grown to be so caring, protective, and I liked some of her flaws – like wanting to feel wanted. She was a really relatable character. Rob’s past made my heart hurt a little, so I understood some of his hang ups, but I liked his instance on change, his desire to give this relationship a chance, and his drive to help. This book didn’t focus too much on Christmas, but the reader definitely gets to feel the joys and challenges of a small town, the connection that forms between the two main characters, and how strong love can be for everyone!
