Hannah isn’t expecting her jewellery shop to be hit by masked men & even less expecting the FBI agent to be her ex husband Tom.
Tom regrets leaving his ex wife after the trauma they both suffered.
Both regret the break up but neither were brave enough to admit it.
Tom is adamant that the break in is different than the other shops that were targeted, with so many twists he has his work cut out.
I liked the story but found that parts of the story was repeated/retold.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
Christmas Hostage is book one in the Christmas Romantic Suspense by Jane Blythe and is a great suspense story that she does so well. This story is a gripping thriller that will have you captivated with all the mystery and different paths you find yourself walking down.
Our main characters have come face to face with each other after being torn apart by tragedy. Their past is raw and very painful and the events that have lead them back to each other, force them to once again face what happened.
Will they be able to work their way through the past and face and help each other finally heal? Will Tom be able to save the one he never stopped loving before she is lost forever?
I enjoy reading Jane’s books and can’t wait to see what else she has instore for us.

FIVE STARS
This is a great read. Quick and to the point. The characters become real to you right off the get-go and you will get sucked in. When you read the last words you will feel like you have been put through a ringer and you will want much more. I know it was like that for me.
A string of jewelry store robberies, coupled with past trauma may be the final demise of Hannah. Can she pull through this or will it sap everything she has? FBI agent Tom Drake is also Hannah’s ex-husband. Yet again he feels as if somehow he has failed to keep her safe.
This book is a second chance romance. Can Hannah and Tom overcome the past to make a new future for themselves?
You have to read this book to get the answer to that question. You also will get sucked in trying to solve the case and find out who is out to hurt Hannah.
