Eight awesome Christmas tales in one place. I loved this collection, each story was unique in its own way but they were all set around Christmas. The only author I had read before is Arietta Richmond. Her books always leave me with a good feeling when I have finished reading them. I was pleased when the other seven authors made me feel likewise. You will need to set aside some special reading time, because this collection is hard to put down once you start. This would be a great collection to give as a Christmas gift.
A wonderful collection of holiday stories from eight great authors. Each with a heartwarming story that will make you sigh as you turn the pages.
Courting a Spinster for Christmas by Arietta Richmond
A sweet story of two lonely people who seem fated to meet under unusual circumstances. Lydia Millpost, an educated spinster and the local vicar, Nathaniel Godfrey find they have something in common, a love of history. They go on an adventure to track down the descendants of an aristocratic family and find a mystery. But they also find an attraction that may prelude their quest!
Kissing by the Mistletoe by Cora Lee
Loved this story! Best friends, Maddie and Kit tried to stem exceptions of them marrying. It was to the point that all the men stayed away from her because they did not want to poach on Kit’s lady. But she was tired of being a wallflower and decided to take action! Going to Kit’s brother, Thomas, she proposes they act like they are are courting so that others will see she is not tied to Kit. But the problem is that Thomas has been secretly in love with Maddie forever. But as affections begin to evolve, there is a stumbling block for Kit and it seems they might never be together!
How the Duke Stole Christmas by Alanna Lucas
I loved the title because I knew it would have to do with the Grinch or a miserable Duke. Having been betrayed by the two people closest to him, Theodore, the Duke of Greystone had kept himself cut off from society. Only with the urging of his mother had he made one appears socially and it did not end well. It seemed he was doomed to be betrayed and this time by a masked woman at a ball. But when he comes into contact with that lady again, it was at his house and he could not believe it. Patience and her aunt had come to visit her aunts friend for the holidays and was astounded to see that man at the ball was none other than the Duke of Greystone! Prepare to be enchanted as these two go head to head and try to find their way to love.

This is a wonderful set of clean regency romances by eight different authors. The stories are all different, although all have something to do with Christmas. The heroes and heroines are delightful, and I loved the variety with mysteries, fake courtship, second chances, and other romance themes.

I like this story It is well written and quite and engaging read. The journey that the characters go through was well thought out.
I will be honest when it comes to a collection like this one I could write a book on how wonderful each and every story is. The eight authors featured are some of the best Regency authors writing today. Each story is beautifully written, clean and my granddaughter loves to read them too. That is always a benchmark for me. She just turned 14 so for her to share this love of Regencies with me is grand. To share with a loved one is one of the greatest gifts and these authors have given it to me. I highly recommend these well-crafted pieces. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
I love clean romantic Christmas books, so this collection is amazing. Although Christmas is coming soon, but I like to read it earlier. I can’t put it down because I want to see what will happen for the characters in each book. The stories are lovely as well as the plot. The choice of characters in each story is great. I finish this entire collection of books quickly because I love it. I will recommend this book for readers who want to read clean romantic Christmas stories for the holidays.

8 stories set in the early 19th century Britain, where some people look for more than just a convenient marriage and a good social position.
The stories themselves are nothing special, the usual romantic stories, but they vary enough to be entertaining as a boxed set.
They are a good way to provide some down-time from the Pre-Christmas stress.
