A very un-Merry Christmas!
Jake Williamson is slowly buying all the small businesses in town and replacing them with chains that are destroying the character of Treasure Cove. On top of that, Sabrina’s good friend Julie is missing. It makes Sabrina think of her sister’s disappearance and the discovery of her remains years later. There are not enough Christmas parties in the world to cheer her up right now. Christmas will definitely not be merry this year!
Treasure Cove has so many murders that it is a miracle there is anyone left. In spite of that, I really like the Daley Buzz Series and this book is no exception. Sabrina and her family are very likable and her ongoing romance with David adds depth to the story. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
I have been enjoying this series. Sabrina’s amateur detective skills once again came in handy. I loved how things came to her when she was having random, friendly conversations. I also like the continuing relationships throughout the series with her friends and her boyfriend. I will say this was another good one, and again, Lisa Beacom did a wonderful job with all the different people she portrayed. Thank you.
I received this audiobook as a gift, and this is my unsolicited review.
When Sabrina’s friend goes missing and her boyfriend (Sabrina’s ex boyfriend) is the prime suspect, Sabrina and David leap action to solve the disappearance before it ruins the Christmas holidays in this 7th story in the Daley Buzz series.
These stories all follow the same basic template, but the characters are fun and it’s always entertaining to try to figure out which of the smorgasbord of potential villains is the killer.
It’s Christmas time in Treasure Cove and someone has been very naughty this year. Sabrina in reliving the nightmare of someone close to her going missing, then being found dead. When someone very close to her is arrested in what looks to be a open and shut case, Sabrina can’t believe it. She knows they didn’t do it and sets out to prove it. Will Sabrina and David be able to solve the murder by Christmas or will this case be finally to much?
This time Julie, Sabrina’s friend is missing and Christsma is just around the corner. Will Sabrina solve the mystery with David’s help? The audiobook is just awesome.
cozy-mystery, murder-investigation, law-enforcement
Sabrina’s family owns the coffee shop in the small town where David is a police detective and together they work to solve the murder of a friend just before Christmas. Aside from the disturbing thing about a murder so close to the holiday, there’s the part about small town life where everyone knows everyone else and some of the suspects are friends. The suspect count rises as each one points to another and they ALL look guilty but there’s no proof!
Really good read!
Lisa Beacom is the perky narrator.
love this book keeps you interested
Sabrina and David are knee deep in another murder investigation. Sabrina’s ex-boyfriend is in trouble and Sabrina is trying to help him. The characters in this series are well developed and loveable. Betsy is an 84 year old spitfire, she taught Sabrina everything she knows on how to enjoy life. What a fun grandmother Betsy is!!! Snickerdoodle is so cute and funny; you cannot help but love him. All of the residents of Treasure Trove are well worth knowing.
A fun and fast cozy mystery. Very enjoyable, you will be glad you read it.
I like the interaction between Sabrina and David as they go about solving their latest murder in this latest cozy mystery over the Christmas season.
