Christmas normally descends on Lake Eden, Minnesota, as gently as reindeer alighting on a rooftop—but this yuletide season the only thing coming down Hannah Swensen’s chimney is a case of murder . . . The holidays have arrived, and Hannah and her good pal Lisa have agreed to provide all the goodies for the town’s annual production of A Christmas Carol. But before anyone can say “Bah, humbug!” a … anyone can say “Bah, humbug!” a Santa-sized sackful of trouble ensues. Like the fact that Lisa’s husband will be playing Mr. Claus to his ex-girlfriend Phyllis Bates’ Mrs. Claus. Or that before the curtains even go up Phyllis is found dead in the snow—wearing a costume that the real Mrs. Claus would put on the naughty list. Soon after, the suspects pile up faster than snowdrifts in a blizzard, while a merry murderer remains on the loose. With clues even harder to find, it might take a visit from ghosts of Christmas past to wrap up this mystery in time for the holidays . . .

Love this series! Easy and fun to read.
Always enjoy the mystery
Love the recipes included in the book
Pleasant albeit fluffy read. Sometimes just what the doctor ordered! Great with a glass of wine..
The recipes
I love her books. Quick fun read. Especially love the recipes!
I love these stories and have read all of them but feel that this is more of a novella. Glad I didn’t spend a lot of $ on it. Way to short to really be a book.
Great recipes..
I have read all of Joanne Flukes books and I loved them all. I like recipes and each of her books has some wonderful ones in them.

Disappointed sums up my review. I love this series, but Ms. Fluke phoned this one in. It’s more recipes than text.
Love Joanna Fluke’s characters! The story is great! The recipes are a wonderful! Thanks, Ms. Flukes!
I love anything Ms. Fluke writes. her characters are so real to me. I am very sad about Hannah’s new husband being missing…or is he?
Great for a rainy afternoon. Not a complex plot but enjoyable
Not my favorite book of the series. I am not a fan of Hannah’s new husband. I believe Fluke should have decided between her two suitors from earlier books. This was a cop-out. Still enjoyed the book, though, and love the characters.
Nice light reading when you don’t want to tax your brain coupled with some good recipes
Great read as always.
