Christmas normally descends on Lake Eden, Minnesota, as gently as reindeer alighting on a rooftop—but this yuletide season the only thing coming down Hannah Swensen’s chimney is a case of murder . . . The holidays have arrived, and Hannah and her good pal Lisa have agreed to provide all the goodies for the town’s annual production of A Christmas Carol. But before anyone can say “Bah, humbug!” a … anyone can say “Bah, humbug!” a Santa-sized sackful of trouble ensues. Like the fact that Lisa’s husband will be playing Mr. Claus to his ex-girlfriend Phyllis Bates’ Mrs. Claus. Or that before the curtains even go up Phyllis is found dead in the snow—wearing a costume that the real Mrs. Claus would put on the naughty list. Soon after, the suspects pile up faster than snowdrifts in a blizzard, while a merry murderer remains on the loose. With clues even harder to find, it might take a visit from ghosts of Christmas past to wrap up this mystery in time for the holidays . . .

I enjoy all her books. I also like the hallmark movies for this series. Hope we see more books and movies.
A bit of a twist from other books in this series. Very easy read, for total escape. I look forward to thenext.
Loved it
I heartily recommend the Hannah Swenson novels by Joanne Fluke. The characters are wonderful. I love culinary mysteries. I especially love the recipes included in the books. I got a recipe for blueberry muffins from an earlier book in this series that I still make and get rave responses. Joanne Fluke can keep writing these stories “til the cows come home & I will keep reading them.
It was light and fun to read.
I love her series – have read them all!
I have enjoyed all of her books, though I do think the main character has married the wrong person. 🙁
Love all her books! Have even tried several of her recipes!
It was one of my favorite authors and includes yummy recipes.
When you need a break and want something light – JoAnne Fluke’s books fit the bill and it doesn’t hurt that there are recipes included.
Love all these books.
Like all of her books, this one was an easy read. You feel like you know Hannah and her sisters and all the other characters. I start one of her books and I don’t put it down until it’s done. Keep them coming Joanne
Predictable. Got three stars for the cookie recipes.
I love all of all of her books, the characters make you feel you are there. A fun ride and read.
I love anything by this author. She is fun, the characters are well thought out and you can identify with them! Such a great story.
Had never read this author. Very simplistic, poor narrative. I read for the story but it was more recipes. Will choose anither aythor some time like Davidson foos murders
Love all her books just fun reads keeping you waiting for the next one
love her books
Love the recipes
This is not one of Joanne Fluke’s best efforts. There are too many recipes, and not enough of the story. I expected better.
