Holiday fiction from the bestselling author of THE HEARTBREAK CAFE, a festive and heartwarming Christmas romance based in the pretty tourist village of Lakeview at Christmastime, and part of Melissa Hill’s popular Irish contemporary romance series.
The Heartbreak Cafe, situated in the picturesque Irish tourist village of Lakeview is a local institution, and owner Ella has run a thriving business … thriving business since it first opened its doors thirty years before.
To honour all those happy years, Ella plans to host a huge Christmas party to thank the community for its support, and to bring all her loyal customers and staff together for a major celebration.
She has spent weeks preparing; baking the cafe’s all time-favourite treats, Christmas favourites like mince pies and mulled wine, and decorating the cafe’s interior in the finest festive garb. Everything is set for it to be an amazing celebration of not just the cafe, but of life in Lakeview.
But Christmas week, only days before the party, Ella receives a devastating letter. Her landlord won’t be renewing her lease in the New Year, and her beloved cafe will have to close.
What will she tell her loyal customers? Will she have to start anew? Or is there any way Ella can save the business by harnessing support and convincing her landlord by Christmas that her cafe has a special place in Lakeview hearts and minds. A Kindle Unlimited Christmas Romance.

Very well written. Nice setting and the story line was nice
A fun book.
I love the characters in this series.
Love the entire series.
Not sure if I missed the Christmas part of the title or the cafe part but I had to look at the title a couple times to make sure I was reading the right book. I gave it a two because it dragged on for a while then at the end it was as if the writer was in s hurry to finish. I would have liked to hear more about his cancer and recovery instead of just popping to the wedding. Just my opinion.
Always up for a new Melissa Hill book…she’s a great author.
The unexpected can happen at the most inopportune times! How families come together to save the dream of the sweetest cafe in town.
It was formulatic and predictable, but what do you expect when it is billed as Christmas escapism reading. I enjoyed it for a break.
Nice Christmas story
Nice Christmas story!
It put you in the Christmas spirit!
I hate to give bad reviews; especially when it’s a free copy… I’d usually rather say nothing. However, this one I didn’t even finish – it drags on; characters are NOT realistic. Just couldn’t keep going beyond the first 50 pages… Sorry
Only read the 1st story, it didn’t keep my attention.
This is another story about a small town and how people come together to help each other out. There is a twist to this story with a good human interest element. This book will renew your faith in your fellow man.
I just couldn’t get into this book.
I couldn’t get past the huge number of typos. Get an editor.
A great Christmas read.
I thought the characters were easy to identify with. I really “rooted” for Ella to be able to keep her business.
Someone needs to do better at editing for grammar etc.
I liked this story. I enjoyed the characters. The story was a lovely Christmas tale about a small town cafe owner and the customers and friends who love her cafe, which is in danger of closing on Christmas Eve. I won’t tell you anymore because it will spoil the story. Read it, you’ll like it.
