A delightful story dealing with some difficult situations. Starting over isn’t easy in the best of circumstances, but with honesty, courage, and determination Ms Markham surmounts obstacles that would thwart a lesser woman.
Great Christmas Read!
Loved the book. I do wish the author had tied up some loose ends or continued the story in another book. I will read others by the same author.
I enjoyed this book as I read it right before Christmas and there was a nice message
This was a perfect read for Christmas. A good lesson on not judging others and on how to be an example of Christian charity.
I loved this book. It is all about God working His plans and revealing His nature through acts of love. It is about real people in real life situations finding life and hope and healing. It is a beautif, unique, compelling story with an intriguing beginning and a perfect ending revealing how God can make good come from seemingly bad situations.

So very true for the world we live in. Don’t judge a book by its cover. Good clean reading.
This story is about 2nd chances, even if you are innocent of the need. Lena was released from prison and moves to a new town to start over, the people she meets mostly surprise her with their acceptance. Becoming “Mrs Santa Claus” becomes the best thing she does, it has its ups and downs but over all, well read it and find out! Love Melody Carlson …
If you love Christmas, read this book! It’s a lovely Christmas story. The story is contemporary, but has a nostalgia about it. A woman gets released from a correctional facility after being convicted of embezzling funds from the church where her husband was a minister and where she helped out with the bookkeeping. Nearly destitute, she purchases a …
