He’s my ex-best friend’s ex-boyfriend. I shouldn’t care, except that I have to. I’m breaking the girl code. Dating Christian would be a mistake. But I can’t keep my hands and my mind off him. Christian is the kind of man I’ve always dreamed about. A biker bad boy. His strong hold sends shivers down my spine. Things are perfect between us. Except the drama. My ex-best friend is trying to rip us … drama.
My ex-best friend is trying to rip us apart.
Will she succeed at shattering our love into pieces?

I liked this romance a lot! Christian and Beth were made for each other: both hard-working, wanting their own businesses, and artistic. Tisha, Christian’s ex and Beth’s best buddy from kinder through high school, kept me on the edge of my seat wondering what serious trouble she would cause next. I enjoyed Christian’s brothers and parents but what I didn’t like was the book’s cover. That is not a picture of a 27-year-old man!
Christian is a photographer which is at odds with his brother and father who are heavy into the Heavy Hogs MC.
Beth is a landscape designer and a member of the Heavy Hogs MC , thanks to her father.
These two also have a friend in common – Beth’s bff and Christian’s ex Trisha.
When these two meet they realize they have much in common on not the least of which is their attraction to each ither.
This is a good story. Once again the MC plays a background role. Beth and Christian are two creative people who did not expect to fall in love but decided to take a chance. Of course there is always a bump in the road, but they find each other.
I am voluntarily giving this review.
This is the 5th book in the Heavy Hogs MC series but each of these books can be read as a standalone. I’ve only read 3 of the books so far, not in order, and have enjoyed them all. Christian and Beth are legacies of the Heavy Hogs MC and have known each other since high school. Christian dated and was head over heals for Beth “BFF”, a self absorbed piece of work, Tisha. Tisha dumped Christian after she became engaged to someone better and richer. Heartbroken, Christian becomes a player and one night only kinda guy, to protect himself. Beth feels loyalty towards Tisha because they have been “friends” since kindergarten, but is slowly figuring out being “friends” with Tisha means being her punching bag for insults, being used, and being her doormat to make Tisha feel better about herself. Come on, we’ve all had a “Tisha” in our lives, a user only. When Christian and Beth connect at a Heavy Hogs BBQ, the chemistry is intense, they really enjoy each other, and they want more. Beth struggles with being a BFF with a narcissist Tisha, while being attracted to her ex. The book is well written, fast paced, maybe a bit predictable, but really good. I enjoyed it.
I received this ARC from Bad Boy Updates. Beth and Christian belong to the Road Warriors but usually never run into each other, and if they did they kept their distance. Tisha was her best friend and his ex. She moved away and basically left them both behind. When Beth and Christian reconnect the attraction is there, but they fight it at first because of the past. This is a story about finding yourself, your voice and what is truly means to care for someone. It doesn’t hurt to have a growly, hot guy who she can’t resist pursue her! Loved it!
Christian hasn’t dated anybody seriously since he was hurt by his ex but after saving beth at their Mc party feelings come out for them both. Can beth show christian he’s a good man or will his ex ruin their chance?
