Carly Graham had chosen the life she lived. And she liked it. She had the best friends a girl could ask for and a loving family that would help with anything. Falling in love was not something she’d longed for. Not since college. Until Anthony. He was bossy and arrogant and goaded her whenever he had the chance. So why was it then, when he walked into a room, the world felt normal again. Except … normal again. Except for her racing heart. The same heart that had cracked into a million pieces years before. Pieces she had carefully swept under the rug and kept hidden.
Just when she was ready to deal with her feelings for him, life threw another curve ball at her, forcing her to make a choice. A choice that would change, not only her life but the life of her friends and family.

I thought this book of friendship and love was beautifully written. I can’t wait to read more about cederville loved Carly and Tony’s story. The addition of Reed surprised me.
She gets to choose the life that she wants…
Carly has seen her best friends pair off, but she’s not interested in that for herself. Not after her whore of a mother turned out to be cheating many times on her father. Not after she caught her mother sleeping with her boyfriend. She doesn’t want to be like her mother, and she’s never going to put her happiness in the hands of another man.
Anthony, however makes her feel safe, and she resents him for it. He’s part of the group that she and her friends hang around with. He’s a typically bossy man, but he shows the best side of himself to his friends and family. She should know, she feels it.
Anthony has seen his best friends pair off, and he wants the same for himself. Women are attracted to him, but he wants more than a one-night stand, and hasn’t since he’d met a certain ball breaking female who seems to hate him, but shows the best side of herself to her friends. He should know, he’s seen it.
Anthony is just the most beautiful book boyfriends. Of course he’s built and gorgeous, lean and sexy, but, he’s also all arrogance and heart. He knows what he wants and he’ll go after it, especially after the series of lewd phone calls he’d received from a certain drunk and lonely female who seems to like him more than she lets on.
I have loved every one of the books in the two series that I’ve read by Bree Kraemer. They’re well crafted, full thickness sexy romances that are just up my alley. And things don’t always go smoothly for our hero and heroine either. Carly chose to leave her past behind, but sometimes the past, in the form of the sins of the mother, reach forward to grab you. The question becomes as to whether it badly affects the future. I choose 5 Stars, and I highly recommend this read, along with the rest of the series.
A wonderful story! An enjoyable afternoon read.
I love this book. Casey doesn’t want a relationship with any man ever again after her heart was broke, and Anthony wants to be with her and wants more than a one night stand. The drunk phone calls from Casey to Anthony had me laughing because we all do something stupid when we are drunk. Then problems arise from her past and it’s either work through it or run from it. I highly recommend this series.
This is a wonderful book about how Carly and Anthony (Tony) come together and fall in love (no matter how much Carly want’s to deny that is falling). They are an amazing couple who face challenges that unusual for anyone to handle but together it seems that they can handle anything. Cedarville is a great town and the people are wonderful. I’m loving the Cedarville series and can’t wait to start reading book #4 in the series. By the way, I’m loving this author, B. Kraemer your
Fab U Lous!!!!!!!!!!
Carly Graham is starting to feel like the third wheel when it comes to hanging out with her friends. Both of her best friends are now in serious relationships with her cousins and don’t seem to go anywhere without their men. Carly has had trust issues since catching her college boyfriend cheating on her (with her mother) that she finds it impossible to open up her heart to the chance of love again. Not even with Anthony, the man who stars in her nightly dreams and the man she can’t seem to get out of her head.
Anthony is a security specialist and friends with Logan. He’s got a thing for Carly, but she seems to hate him and goes out of her way to avoid him. But he’ll do whatever it takes to prove to Carly that he won’t do anything to hurt her if she’d just give him a chance.
However, right when Anthony gets his chance, life throws a curveball at Carly in the form of a 6-year old brother. Now she has to put him first and do what’s necessary for him. Will this put an end to their budding relationship?
I absolutely adored Anthony and Carly’s relationship. Anthony truly is one of the good guys and no matter how much Carly pushed him away he was determined to prove that taking a chance on him would be worth it in the end. Carly was a very strong woman, even with all that she had been dealt with in life due to her mother she came out stronger in the end, but not without a few battle scars.
Carly is trying real hard not to be jealous of her good friends. I mean just cos their getting plenty of sex and enjoying the new loves in their lives even if they are with her cousins and she’s lonely isn’t a reason to be jealous. Tony has been trying to get Carly’s attention but she’s got some serious skeletons that wont give him the time of day much less her. When she receives a surprise visitor things change and Tony is going to take full advantage of the chance to finally get Carly’s eye. Loved this and the surprise and all the goodies that come out of this story. All the feels and aw shucks and hot steaminess make this a great addition to the Cedarville gang as they grow in size and in your hearts. Each story brings them closer and deeper into your hearts.
This is the third book in the Cedarville series by Ms Kraemer. I skipped the second one and that’s OK, each of the books in this series is a stand-alone. The series is about a group of best friends and how they find their HEA. While the characters are woven into each book, you don’t need to read them all, or in order, to enjoy them.
Cedarville, OH is a small town at its best. It’s filled with quirky, fun characters that stick together through thick and thin. This story has some messed up stuff, but it never really gets too heavy. It’s a light read that will have you smiling most of the way through.
The only thing that annoys me about this series is the author’s tendency to pose everything as a question even when it isn’t one. I don’t know if that’s her style or not. (That’s a sentence that would have a question mark after it in the book.) If you can overlook that and the occasional spelling, typo, grammar error, you’ll enjoy the story.
The author gives you a sweet story of two people who have been attracted to each other for a long time but just don’t know it. There are butterflies in the tummy when the other is around, confused and not sure what these feelings mean they have been dancing around each other for many years.
Carly had her chance at love so deep that leave you empty when it walks away. She isn’t going to lay it all out there and get it stumped on again. Nope that is one road she isn’t going to travel ever again, I can’t say I blame her after what her one and only relationship put her through. Anthony is a sweet, kind and protective, man with a sense of humor, he loves to pick on Carly in hopes of drawing her out. It isn’t looking good for him. He pulls, and she pushes that is until one night when something happens that changes their relationship. She needs Anthony’s calming ways as she deals with a few issues, working together will they overcome them and will they finally come to understand where the both need to be with each other. What about those phones calls she made, just what the heck did she tell him?
A fun read that held my interest as well as make me laugh. I really liked these characters they are believable. The author gives a delightful small town read that is delightful with some excitement. I enjoyed the chemistry between these two as well as the support team that makes this a great read.
This is a fast-paced, engaging story in the Cederville series. The author draws the reader into the story so it feels as though you are a part of what is going on. The characters are likable, interesting, and complex. This book can easily be read as a stand-alone, though it might be more enjoyed after reading the first two books. This is a enjoyable series and well worth reading.
