Readers’ Crown Finalist! A brash, kick-ass heroine with a hidden vulnerability and an arrogant king forced to be a slave…Riley St. Claire has always followed her own rules. This is one of my go to books for a good laugh.
It was action packed and enjoyable. Riley is a riot. I love her character.
I absolutely loved this book. The character of Riley was so entertaining. She is quirky, snarky and takes no crap from anyone. It was a great read and had a great happy ever after.
Fantastic read. In the top 5 books of all Ms Smiths wonderful interconnecting world of Aliens.
I don’t think I have laughed out loud so much as I did at Riley’s antics. She is wonderful, another strong capable woman who doesn’t need a man in her life but completes them like no one else can.
The fact that Vox, the Sarafin King, one of the most feared fighters in the galaxy keeps tripping over his own paws making mistakes is hysterical.
One of the best books I have read in ages. This book ties in with the wonderful world created by Ms Smith.
I just wish she could write them faster as there are so many wonderful characters awaiting their HEA’s.
I can re-read Ms Smiths books continually as still laugh every time.
SE Smith books are some of my all time favorites so it’s hard to pick the best of the bunch. Choosing Riley and Gracie’s Touch are my top 2 (see my review for Gracie’s Touch). Choosing Riley is super funny and the lead character, Riley, is smart, sassy, emotional, brave, resourceful, and endearing. I did not want the book to end, I just want more of Riley. The world building was well done and the action was even better! I recommend all of SE Smith’s books, but this one in particular is a must-read.
I loved Riley! She is a plus size lady with an hourglass shape. Her mate Vox is hilarious in what he does and how he treats her. She has a big heart and chose to save 5 men instead of 2. Read this if you want some laugh out loud moments. Lots of them! There are sexual scenes. If this offends you, this is not the book for you.
This is an hysterically funny book! So much fun to read. I have not laughed so hard at any romance or action book. Great read & can’t wait to read book 2.
The whole series is great.
Finally, a tribute to the big bag purse with everything in it for “just in case.” This is a fun, lively, laugh out loud story with never a dull moment. I listened to the the audible version, which was very well narrated.
Ridiculous but amusing. This starts out as a comedy. I did get kinda tired of Riley equating everything to a movie, humorous at first, then not. It gets more serious at the end. Still, it was a good diversion from the mundane.
I thought this book was just so-so. Riley was made out to be a complete idiot but still got her man/alien.
I liked the story.
Good book to read while relaxing with a glass of wine. Entertaining enough to hold your attention until the end. I liked it so much that I purchased additional books from this author.
I loved it
LOVE the series.
Oh Riley – fabulous character. Let’s hear it for Big and Beautiful – in her own way. Love that she can dish it out, and handle her Sarafin prince (grin). fun series by one of my favorite writers. I’ll be reading the next in this series – Yay!
This book was a fun read. I really Reilly.
Horrid! Could barely get past second chapter … the language and
Plot are juvenile although would not recommend to young adults.
I do NOT recommend this one.
Laughed a lot
I loved this book. Riley is no man’s doormat. She is spirited, opinionated, and able to knock a man or alien on its ass. She is kidnapped, sent to a mining asteroid, mated to 5 beings, and keeps you laughing the whole time. This is a must read.
