Once back in Chapel Cove, Hudson tries to find the perfect house. He suspects that finding the perfect woman will take far longer.

Heartwarming is definitely a word I always associate with books by this author, and Choose Me is no exception! The reader can almost hear the title “Choose Me” … “Pick Me” … reverberate throughout the book. So much more than just a clean romance, this book has a great depth and is filled with treasures of wisdom about life. Some of the topics included are: heartbreak, rejection, shame, unforgiveness, trust, cancer, adoption, healing, our identity in Christ, the quiet confidence that God really is in control and will work all things for our good because He loves us so greatly, and so much more. This book is one that will capture the heart, mesmerize the reader, and not only entertain, but also cause one to be enriched by having read it. My only regret is that the story ended! This author is immensely gifted, expertly telling a story and creating characters who will remain in the reader’s heart, and appear to be almost real. My favorite quote is: “Hey, everyone has a story. The thing we need to remember is that it’s all about allowing God to use our stories to bring glory to His name.” Well done, Marion! The title is whispering, “Choose Me!”
Choose Me, is a beautiful sweet story by Marion Ueckermann from the Chapel Cove series. It is a very moving story in which wounds heal, family United, an accident and a wedding that is canceled at the last minute. A woman who cannot have children and a girl who becomes pregnant. Marion brings it all together in a beautifully written Christian book that captivates you to the end.
I had a free copy of this book, but this is my voluntary and honest opinion. What a wonderful story. Marion Ueckermann addresses real problems with real solutions. The character development is great and the story line interesting. I really enjoyed reading this book, and would recommend the series.
Another wonderful book in the series that I want to tell you why I love this book and well, the whole series so far. I was getting lost in the world with all the negativity and God brought this series to me. The book has struggles, doubts, wondering if what you are doing is right and also some that are doubting God. All the things I think are relevant to the world today. As I was reading the end of this book, I kept thinking about how God was guiding them and letting them know that this was His plan for them and I think God was with this author as she was writing the series because you can see and feel Him coming through each of the books. Reading this book and this series has helped me to see things clearer and to understand a lot more than I did before reading the series. So thank you for adding this story to the series.
An excellent story dealing with lots of emotion and resolution. Very well written. Great characters. Enjoyed being back in Chapel Cove. Highly recommend.
Marion Ueckermann has packed so much into this book. Julia, Hudson, Olivia, Zoe, Bill Patterson, Melanie, are a few of the examples of God using the bad things that happen in life for good. I had a hard time putting this story down. I had to find out how Julia and Hudson met the challenges that faced them. This is a good addition to the series and I look forward to future books.
Choose Me is the fourth in the Chapel Cove series. This story is written by the wonderful Marion Ueckermann. It follows the story of Julia Delpont and Hudson Brock. Both of whom we’ve met in previous stories. Julia has a wounded heart and is not looking for or interested in love. Brock Hudson or Dr. Brock is a healer, Chapel Cove boy who has come home to work in the small clinic.
Julia is a realtor and Hudson is looking to buy a home. That is how these two come together. So many sweet moments. Julia opening her heart to love again after being dumped at the alter 2 years before. She has so much hurt and no love for love. But can Dr. Brock unlock the key to her heart? So much I could say but don’t want to give anything away.
Please read and fall in love with Julia and Hudson. See some of our old friends from previous books. I love some of the references to Marion’s Seven Sisters series. Like Julia I can’t wait for the final two books. Looking forward to the next Capel Cove books. Thank you Marion, Alexa and Autumn for this wonderful series. Blessings!
God has exciting things planned, not only for Dr.Hudson Brock and Julia Delpont, but the growing community of Chapel Cove, Oregon. Throughout this inspiring story Marion Ueckermann weaves the theme: Miracles still happen, especially when people feel vulnerable and need to feel loved and be loved by God and others. A page turner, gut wrenching at times, story with a believable resolution. Chapel Cove with its unique residents is my kind of growing town.
Choose Me, Chapel Cove Book 4
By Marion Ueckermann
Marion delights us once again as we journey back into Chapel Cove, Oregon and it’s delightful characters with so much charm.
Julia and Hudson’s story is one to treasure. Knowing that you can face your fears while letting God lead the way, true happiness can be found. And that’s exactly what these two did. Sharing their deepest fears with us shows us God’s unconditional love for us. A story not to miss as Ms Marion weaves God’s love into Julia and Hudson’s hearts.
I LOVED this book!! I knew going into the story that Julia was struggling. What I didn’t know too far in advance, was that her struggles were a subject near to me as I have friends who’ve struggled with the very same issue.
I love the way Marion showed that Hudson could look beyond Julia’s problems, and that he knew God had brought Julia into his life. I also love that Marion used Hudson to bring Julia into a different view of God through the way he loved her. It made her walk with God stronger, and showed He is faithful, and does work things to the good for those who love Him.
It won’t be the same for everyone, but this story shows that, no matter what, we can give God our difficulties, insecurities, feelings, and He can still use them to bring good things to us and bring glory to Himself.
I received an advance copy of this book. I was not required to leave a review. Everything expressed is my own opinion.
When Julia moved to Chapel Cove she is determined not to let another man hurt her. Hudson is trying to find a perfect house to raise a family one day. When he switched realtors he never expected to meet such a amazing person. The characters in this book are all truly inspirational and wonderful people. You will feel God working throughout this wonderful book. I had the honor to review this book for the author for a honest review. I would give this book a higher rating than a five star review if I could.
We all have dreams of what our life will be like and what our future will be. However, sometimes life takes a different turn than what we had hoped for. Sometimes those things are in our control and other times they aren’t. It’s how we handle those unexpected changes that make our life rich or sorrowful.
As I read this book I was overcome with buckets of emotions. WOW!
In this wonderful story, we find hope in place of despair, and how God can work all things for His good. Choose Me, is packed with many rich Bible references and lessons of God’s love for us. This is one of the reasons I choose to read anything Marion Ueckermann writes. She doesn’t just add a little verse at the beginning and call it good, she weaves these lessons throughout her character’s lives. These are lessons we can all benefit from.
Julia sees only a life of loneliness and growing old with cats. Even though she really doesn’t really love cats. She also struggles with forgiveness towards the man who left her at the altar on her wedding day. So, you could say her days were bleak. Then she literally “fall” for the new doctor in town and things haven’t been the same.
Hudson is just trying to make a new name for himself after coming back to the town he grew up in. He’s a doctor and wants people to accept him for who he is now. Unfortunately, there is still a bit of old water under the bridge.
When he first meets Julia, sparks fly, and he will do anything to spend time with her.
So, if you like romance, this book has lots of it, and if you’re like me, you’ll tell your husband about some of the ways Hudson tries to romance Julia, just to give him some suggestions.
This story has so many sweet moments yet also some fun humorous parts. It is a delight to read.
The author, Marion Ueckermann, is a truly gifted writer. She brings such life to each of her characters. From the crazy ladies of the bookstore, and the kind, confident receptionist from the clinic, to the grumpy Mr. Patterson. I loved all the banter with each and every one of these characters. Some of the characters I really got a kick reading about.
The setting for this book is in my favorite state of Oregon in a coastal town. Which, if you’ve never been to, is so stunning! I loved how she introduced us to the lavender fields. I actually looked them up on the internet and felt it would be beautiful to see.
I highly recommend you pick it up, also look for the next books in this series. Hopefully, there will be more!
I was given this book by the author for an honest review, all opinions are my own.
