First in the New York Times-bestselling mystery series: “A cleverly plotted cozy full of appealing characters and delicious cookie recipes.”—Publishers Weekly Take one amateur sleuth. Mix in some eccentric Minnesota locals. Add a generous dollop of crackling suspense, and you’ve got the recipe for this mystery series featuring Hannah Swensen, the red-haired, cookie-baking heroine whose … cookie-baking heroine whose gingersnaps are almost as tart as her comments and whose penchant for solving crime is definitely stirring things up.
While dodging her mother’s attempts to marry her off, Hannah runs The Cookie Jar, Lake Eden’s most popular bakery. But after Ron LaSalle, the beloved deliveryman from the Cozy Cow Dairy, is found murdered behind her bakery—with Hannah’s famous Chocolate Chip Crunchies scattered around him—she’s determined not to let her cookies get a bad reputation, so she sets out to track down a killer. But if she doesn’t watch her back, Hannah’s sweet life may get burned to a crisp.
“Culinary cozies don’t get any tastier than this winning series.”—Library Journal

very good
It’s like you are in there service less coffee offer other drinks with lunches, and dinner parties. Other than that your books are hilarious
Love all of Joanne Fluke’s Cookie Shop Mysteries. This is one of my favorites; highly entertaining and kept me guessing to the end!!
I’ve read all her books and they are wonderful
Love this series
Great recipes and this author writes a good mystery for the love triangle to solve.
All her books are good and the recipes are yummy.
Interesting tame cute
Hannah, her sister, her bake shop, all seem so familiar, as if you already know and love them. Great fun, and good cookie recipes too!
Great recipes included in all her books.
Although a bit predictable, this book as well as others in the series makes for enjoyable reading. Many of the recipes included throughout have also been tried and found delicious.
Fun quick mysteries that are great “palate cleansers” after a difficult read.
This is not a book for a serious mystery lover or English cozy. Very predictanle, light reading. My sisters-in-law live them, but not for me. I do like the Hallmark Mysteries series of this authors books much better.
This series was very good in the beginning, but has become too repetitive for me and I am no longer interested in spending time reading this author when there are so many new and entertaining writers available.
Definitely easy read and a cozy mystery
Enjoyed this book. Looking forward to reading more in the series.
I love all her books, and this is no exception
Always a good read. Enjoy her stories
Loved it. Loved the recipes and the action.
Liked that the author included the recipes for her readers to try.
