First in the New York Times-bestselling mystery series: “A cleverly plotted cozy full of appealing characters and delicious cookie recipes.”—Publishers Weekly Take one amateur sleuth. Mix in some eccentric Minnesota locals. Add a generous dollop of crackling suspense, and you’ve got the recipe for this mystery series featuring Hannah Swensen, the red-haired, cookie-baking heroine whose … cookie-baking heroine whose gingersnaps are almost as tart as her comments and whose penchant for solving crime is definitely stirring things up.
While dodging her mother’s attempts to marry her off, Hannah runs The Cookie Jar, Lake Eden’s most popular bakery. But after Ron LaSalle, the beloved deliveryman from the Cozy Cow Dairy, is found murdered behind her bakery—with Hannah’s famous Chocolate Chip Crunchies scattered around him—she’s determined not to let her cookies get a bad reputation, so she sets out to track down a killer. But if she doesn’t watch her back, Hannah’s sweet life may get burned to a crisp.

I love the way the author uses dessert recipes to introduce.conversations and members of the community. I frequently try the cookies recipes.
Good recipes.
Entertaining cozy mystery with an ending that threw me for a loop! Bonus recipes included. I made the chocolate-covered cherry delights and they were absolutely amazing!
This whole series is really fun! So many books and great character development. The books can seem a little cheesy sometimes, but they’re very enjoyable and fast reads.
Joanne keep writing those books. I have read them all and I only wish there were more.
Hannah and the characters surrounding The Cookie Jar are a fun bunch to follow. The mysteries are well plot out.
Recommend entire series. Don’t much care for the TV series.
Fun reading and good receipes
Love all Joanne Fluke books!
Very good read
another great book in the series
Poorly written and predictable
THE EARLY BOOKS IN THIS SERIES WERE FUN TO READ.
Love this series. Currently reading the prequel to the series. Great writing, easy reading books. Always fantastic recipes. These books are a great curl up, relax in your favorite chair while drinking hot chocolate in front of the fireplace kind of book. Fast reading and plenty of books in this series. The characters and town become a part of your …

Everyone loved the Dukes of Hazard Especially Roscoe P Coletrain. So when the cops in the books are dump dumps we are quick to judge.
Hannah Swenson has opened her …
The whole series is great, I also recommend the recipes. They are to die for!
Fluke is always a great easy read
Mystery
