I love this series. Ruby & Bee are awesome.
In this book they are still in Muffin & getting ready for the annual flower festival. Of course nothing goes as planned and they wind up in the middle of another investigation. Pick up a copy to see how it all plays out. I look forward to their next adventure.
Another wonderful cozy mystery in this series.
This time Ruby and Dee begin by catering the Muffin Garden Society gathering at the inn. The ladies are mean and complain about the sweets constantly until local gardener, Brent Snow, is found dead in the hedges. Ruby and Dee pursue all means necessary (and sometimes illegal) to find the killer.

Bee and Ruby are not very happy with the ‘ladies’ at the Muffin Flower Show. Rose-Marie is one snooty thing! But they are doing it for the business and hope everything goes well until they hear gunshots! Well, this changes everything now that the gardener has been shot dead!! But who would want to kill a gardener? With these ladies, it isn’t hard to imagine, they aren’t happy with anything! Can Bee and Ruby find the killer and why? Enjoy this light-hearted story. I sure did! I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book from Booksprout.
Mrs. Rickleston, the owner of the Runaway Inn, had asked Bee and Ruby to cater the Muffin Garden Society party and they were delighted! The only irritation was the obnoxious Rose Marie who insisted she would be winning the flower show competition as she had been for the past five years; and her complaints about the cookies, tea, and milk being served every time Ruby put a tray on the table.
As Ruby was removing the tea that Rose just complained about, Bee came over with a tray of cupcakes, both wondering if it was worth enduring this treatment for another day. Suddenly, what sounded like gunshots sounded, startling everyone. Seeing boots sticking out from behind a hedge, Ruby and Bee headed down toward the garden, first instructing Mrs. Rickleston to call the police. Ruby saw the victim was the gardener she had seen earlier, but he now had been shot twice in the chest. A woman’s stiletto shoe was stuck in the mud under a freshly watered tree near his body.
This would be a difficult case for the two sleuths this time. No one witnessed the actual crime, no clues were left other than the shoe, and no obvious reason to kill a local gardener. But if they can’t find the murderer, someone else could die. Can Ruby and Bee find the murderer before anything worse happens?
Another great cozy mystery from Rosie. An entertaining cozy mystery story, strong characters you can’t help but love and the right amount of suspense and humor to make it a great read. I’ve never been disappointed with one of her books and Choc Chip Murder was no exception. Highly entertaining and I definitely recommend.

Bee and Ruby are asked to cater the Muffin Garden Society party to the ladies of the Muffin Garden Society. While catering the party, Bee and Ruby are subjected to sarcasm from a particular woman making comments about the tea, milk, and cookies being served. During this party something goes terribly wrong and the gardener ends up dead. Bee and Rudy decide to investigate and find many twists and turns to discover the murderer. I enjoyed the interaction between Bee, Ruby and Detective Wilkes.
