This is a gut wrenching story, vividly done. I could feel the cold, experience all the emotions of the characters; and even though you will probably guess who the bad guy is, you do not want to do it willingly!!!
The perfect winter read–an action-packed thriller by a master of her craft.
This book was my introduction to Sandra Brown (I know, I know, what rock have I been hiding under?), and what an intro it was. The twists, the hair-raising turns, and above all, Brown’s ability to make us love and doubt a hero at the same time. She kept me on tenterhooks from start to finish. This was a marvelous example of how Romance and …
This book was way better than I expected, but mainly because I didn’t know what to expect and was reading outside of my comfort zone.
So, I guess this can be considered a romantic-suspense thriller… Assuming I’m writing that correctly. I’ve read other romantic suspense, but outside of a specific series from an author I adore, I haven’t …
A sleepy, small mountain town with a lingering mystery of the disappearance of four women. An isolated cabin in the mountains with a winter storm descending. A diverse mix of characters saturated with intense emotions and sprinkled with secrets all interacting with one another in that sleepy, small (now claustrophobic) mountain town. Placed in …
What is there to say really but that this author can sweep you away in a story making you forget what is going on around you. The numbers on how many people like this author is alot so it reflects also in the reviews. Intrigue and suspense are a large part of this one. When finished this is one not soon forgotten.
I loved this book. It kept me guessing the whole time. I can’t wait to read more by Sandra Brown! Definitely a fan after reading this book!
I would read it again. It was sooooo good
Sandra Brown is one of my favorite authors and role model in my own writing career. I love most of her books, especially the ones she wrote after 1990, when she started to grow as an author and her plots became more intricate. Inspired by her, I’m working on that too. 🙂 Great writer!
Sandra Brown is definitely one of the patrons of suspense romance and, though it’s hard to choose among all her numerous books, this one is among my favorites. The atmosphere is expertly crafted, the tension that is building gradually keeps the reader permanently watchful. Besides the crime mystery that needs to be solved, there is the ever …
Sandra Brown always combines steamy romance with page-turning suspense.
Loved the basic book. Didn’t require the cursing
I read this one in 2002. I can’t remember ever reading a Sandra Brown book that I didn’t like. I recorded this one as five stars on my reading list.
Never disappointed with Sandra Brown
A page Turner from beginning to end. Keeps you guessing.
