Book review of Child of the Outcast (Book 2 in the Born Vampire series) by Elizabeth Dunlap
Well if that wasn’t a rollercoaster of emotions I don’t know what is. I am not often brought to tears by a book but this book did just that, more than once!
Child of the Outcast by Elizabeth Dunlap is the second book in A Born Vampire series. This stand alone book begins where the first book Knight of the Hunted ended. Elizabeth has been captured by Arthur the head of the trackers and brought back to the mansion to be tried by the Council. While waiting to be tried Elizabeth is held captive in her room for an extended period of time. This time gives Elizabeth time to deal with what has happened and to decide what her plans for the future (If she has one?) will be. This book was full of suspense and several mysteries that continued to build throughout the entire book. I couldn’t put it down. This is one of the best vampire paranormal romantic suspense books I have ever read. I believe anyone who reads this book will fall in love with the characters in this paranormal world. Child of the Outcast is a suspense filled tale of lost love.
This was a great book. Kept me hooked from the beginning and left me wanting more. I found the storyline and characters very well written. I’m looking forward to the next book. I highly recommend.

I love the characters in this story. Lisbeth is so much more than she seems and Arthur is too. Her need for Knight and Arthur is unmistakable. The story is strong and intriguing. Great read

Oh Lisbeth what have you gotten yourself into? This book pulled me straight back into the story. I had so many questions at the beginning of the book….and at the end I now have even more!!! I’m debating what I make of Arthur still. I loved where it ended but I am desperate to know what happens next…
She is ready to accept what ever they will do to her as without Knight she is not interested. She is shocked when they release her but with conditions. What is going on? Now there is also an uprising so how will it go? Follow her as she tries to find her place without Knight
