Dare Wilde
Flicka Caine lands in my lap like a cherry bomb, fuse already lit. She might taste like spun sugar but there’s nothing sweet about the ache she causes.
Too bad that she typecasts me like all the rest. So I turn her cute arse down. That should be the end of it; turns out, it’s only the beginning.
Cherry Bomb is the first full length standalone coming-of-age romance in the Stirred Passions series, about the Sunsetters, a group of bisexual A-list actors and the women and men who love them.

Excellent Title For This Story: Apt. – 4.5 Stars
I enjoyed reading this lengthy novel, as I became engaged by the diversity in characters. There was a large ensemble cast, of whom the Main Male Character`s BFF, had a wicked sense of humor and who also was extremely protective and loyal to the main male character. The main male and the main female characters experienced an immediate attraction for one another. This was an interesting story that gave insight on the inner-workings to the business of making movies. In this tale we are witness to career sabotage, a mystery, and constrictive work expectations. The journey of the main male and main female characters was certainly fraught with angst, many extremely sensual scenes and a number of life events that added some speed bumps to their romantic journey. Excellent title that was clearly laid out at being many of the strong and beautifully summed up in the story`s conclusion.
Cherry Bomb by by Madelynne Ellis.
Twin sisters who are child stars have had enough of being owned and controlled by the Studio , they need to stretch their wings and to have the control themselves..
Felicity needs to discard her good girl image , Dare Wilde a supporting actor who known as a bad boy , but is he?
Dare is amazed that this “good girl” is pursuing him , perhaps she isn’t the innocent young woman he thought she was..
They get together , their chemistry is mind blowing .
This book is good very easy to read with a good story line that adds hotness , lust, adoration and so much more..
I read this book way back in the day when Madelynne first published it under a different penname. It was outstanding then, and it is still outstanding today. Her writing has stood the test of time and continues to be some of the sexiest, well developed stories I have had the pleasure of reading.
I know I’m going to sound biased, but I promise you, this isn’t coming from a biased place. These characters have unrivaled depth to them. They are characters you will not want to stop reading about, living lives that are relatable and real. Yes, this story/series is about actors so maybe not exactly you and me, I don’t know, but what you imagine the plight of actors to be is very well represented in this book/series.
Flicka and Dare …. *happy sigh* I mean that’s the best I can come up with for them. Dare is so beyond swoon-worthy that I don’t know what word to use! This is a coming of age story but I’m telling you it does not read like most coming of age stories I’ve ever read. Obviously that’s because of their circumstances and Madelynne made sure to represent that perfectly, not only in the story-line but also in the characters. She wrote these two with intense chemistry and their story had just the right amount of suspense to keep you glued to the story!
READ THIS SERIES! I promise you that you will not be disappointed!
For my first Madelynne Ellis book this was surprisingly good read. The plot had me turning pages without stopping. I did have some issues with the book but they were my personal views that had triggered.
Dare and Flicks relationship started a bit rocky with everything going against them. But they managed to end up together but not before stumbling over a obstacle or two.
Over all this story was funny, angsty, dirty and of course hot and steamy.
I’m glad I was introduced to this author and I’m looking forward to reading more.
