Two red-hot historical romances with the perfect mix of naughty and nice: Heloise’s meddling gets her subjected to the Earl of Blythe’s punishment, and Deana repays her debt to Lord Rockwell by giving up her body for one pleasure-filled night.

What she doesn’t intend is to be splayed across his legs and spanked!
Deprived of his intended guest, Sebastian Cadwell intends to provide the meddling Miss Merrill a much deserved set-down. But when his hand connects with her lovely derrière, he finds he wants to do more than just administer a light spanking. He wants her total submission.
Submitting to Lord Rockwell
For debt-ridden Deana Herwood, losing a hand of cards to the wealthy Lord Rockwell is bad enough. But when he proposes that she settle her loss to him by spending one night offering her body up to his pleasure, she finds herself caught in a bind. Rockwell’s appetite includes a penchant for the taboo. When she expresses her reservations, he offers an even more outrageous proposition.
Can she win the wager or will her body succumb to the wicked attentions of Lord Rockwell?

shades of grey (50) seems to be the trend in romantic novels lately. I end up skimming those scenes. but all in all a good read
Less than believable. Not much into bondage, etc.
Spicy read
Too much for me
Good
These are teasers, I get that. But the first story (spoiler alert) ends with a gift of a treasure the HE nearly dropped and destroyed in their rendezvous – does she then sell it? She lost money, lost the bet, and her ridiculous family of stupid females needs her income from card play – I was confused as to how this assignation aided cash flow? And then I was repulsed in a later story by the inattentive husband facing his wife’s presence at the Chateau – OMG! I am cuckolded! OMG! I will screw her and she will feel good that someone cared enough to RAVISH her. WHAT??
It was a bit much
Interesting story line and well-written.
There is m/m which can be turn off for some. The protagonist guy is a libertine and I usually do not like wastrels that have to go to brothels but the writing itself is good and the heroine or main female character is no wilting flower.
Open endings, no conclusion unless you keep purchasing if available. More short story like.
Not great. Really just the start of three stories. No endings to anything, just a ploy yo get you to buy the other books
Found it in poor taste.
I didn’t enjoy it. Really just a bunch of short stories not a novel. And the content was not appealing.
Did not like it.
I’m a huge fan of Em Brown. I think she has the perfect blend of naughty and nice. Her characters are honest and believable. This book is the beginning of a few of Ms. Brown’s books and not a complete novel. It gives you enough of the story to help you decide if you’re interested. I am very interested. Since the release of 50 Shades there has been an influx of light BDSM themed books hitting the market. For me, the thing that makes these stories more exciting is the Regency setting. Most, if not all, of the books in this genre are modern romances. I’ve always preferred historical, so this book was more perfect for me.
