This book was so wonderfully written that I was glued to my kindle from the very first page! The characters were so well developed that I felt like I was being drawn deeper and deeper in as the story unfolded between Serena and Chase!
A well written book with an interesting story line. The characters are strong and the story flows quickly and smoothly. I enjoyed reading this story.

This book was so good.
I loved the interaction between the characters.
The plot was great and emotional.
Nancy Stopper never fails to write realistic books with amazing plots and characters.
Serena and Chase’s second chance story was a wonderful story rich in family and relationships. I enjoyed Trusting Chase by Nancy Stopper, book three in her Harper Family series. As a teen visiting the Atlantic Ocean in New Jearsey, on a family outing, Serena Harper noticed a boy, taking her picture. As he came closer Serena got to know Edward Foster, a wandering teen with no home, who was becoming a photojournalist. After returning home Serena’s led a good life, rescuing animals who needed saving, and opening an animal shelter, finding homes for her rescues. After discovering her father cheated on her mom and then learning her high school boyfriend was cheating on her, Serena struggled with trusting men, especially those who didn’t, or wouldn’t, live in Cedar Hill; her home town. Edward “Chase” Foster was a world-renowned photojournalist, burned out from traveling to tell the stories of those struggling around the world; especially in war-torn countries. Needing an easy assignment, Chase travels to Cedar Hill to shoot pictures for a charity calendar fund raiser that happens to be for Serena’s animal shelter. He never expected to run into the girl who intrigued him ten years ago when he met her on the Atlantic City boardwalk; the girl whose image went with him around the world. Since these Serena and Chase have reconnected, they are determined to find a way to be together, explore the attraction they have always had for each other, build a life together. Serena must reconsider everything she values now that Chase is back in her life. Together they must decide if a compromise between their values and trust can be reached in order to achieve a chance at forever.
Ms. Stopper wrote a wonderful, emotional story that is not to be missed. She provided a tale rich with emotions, filled with sexual chemistry, wonderful dialogue, and endearing characters giving Serena and Chase a chance at having true love. I highly recommend Chasing Trust to other readers.

This is the third and final book in the Harper Family Series. You’ll love Chase and Serena’s story. An emotional second chance meeting for two people who’ve had no interest in settling down. Ten years since they first met on a boardwalk, they’ve never gotten the image of the other out of their brain. No spoiler here but do they overcome their fears and find comfort and the future in each other. A cute book with likable characters and an entertaining storyline. I had a hard time staying interested in this book.

I really enjoyed Serena and Chase’s story and just loved that they still remembered each other after meeting ten years previously. They meet again when he is hired to photograph the animals at her shelter will he be the man who can get her to trust again and will she be the one who convinces him to settle down. A super addition to the series.
This is one of those feel good stories that draws you in and touches your heart. The first time that Edward and Serena met she was a teenager out with her sister and he was taking pictures. They spent the day together but never forgot that time. It is ten years later and she meets a young man that was hired to take pictures for a calendar for her animal shelter. Upon meeting him he reminded her of someone could he be the boy she thought about all those years ago. Serena has had a lot of distrust when it comes to men in her life but she always thought of Edward in a positive manner. Could this be their time for a happily ever after?

There was something about this book that just really got to me. Serena and Edward (aka Chase) met briefly when Serena was a teen. He was taking her picture while she and her sister were on a pier in Atlantic City and he asked her to go on one of the rides with him. After, they shared a kiss (her first!) and she gave him her necklace to remember her by and they parted ways.
10 years later, Chase is a world reknowned photographer and on the verge of burn out, when he is hired to take photos for an animal rescue calendar. He is stunned to realize that the rescues owner is none other than Serena, the girl he never forgot. While they are both different people now, they cannot help the attraction that blossoms between them. As Serena tries to overcome her trust issues, Chase wonders if he has finally found a place he can can settle down and call home. This book was memorable for me and I was very much invested in this couples journey towards their HEA.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Nancy Stopper never fails to provide a book filled with interesting, yet flawed, characters that speak to the heart of readers.
Her trust issues have kept Serena from any kind of permanent relationship but she has found love and happiness living in her small community surrounded by her ever growing family and the wonderful creatures she cares for at her animal shelter. Ten years ago a young man she met at the pier stole a part of her heart and ruined her for any future man. No one could ever measure up to Edward. But trust issues have plagued Serena for years and kept her from developing a loving relationship with any man. When she finally has a second chance will her past keep her from trusting in herself and in the man who has held a part of heart?
Professional photojournalist Edward ‘Chase’ Foster has arrived in town to meet with the local animal shelter owner to photograph the dogs for her charity calendar. He arrives to find the sweet, innocent, girl he met ten years ago, and has never forgotten, has grown into a beautiful woman. Chase isn’t sure she recognizes him, especially since he goes by a different name in his profession. One thing is for certain; his feelings all those years ago have not changed. He knew she was too young then, but now he must figure out if they can make a relationship work when his job constantly takes him all over the world, and her heart is firmly tied to her home town.
I really enjoyed this book although I found it a bit drawn out making it lengthy at times.

Serena’s childhood relationship with her father was tenuous at best, but when she and her siblings found out he had another daughter while married to her mother it reinforced Serena’s experience that men cheat. But the really amazing premise of this book is Serena’s reunion with the boy she has idolized for the last ten years.
The storytelling draws you into this tale. The emotions Serena and Chase feel are transmitted through each word into our hearts making this sexy poignant story a captivating read.
As a teenager, Serena Harper has lived life in the shadow of her outgoing twin sister Alexis, so she is shocked when the handsome young man taking pictures of them approaches her! After spending a perfect day in Atlantic City and experiencing her first ever kiss, Serena and her family return to Pennsylvania and their dysfunctional home, the young man heading to New York. Edward Foster set the boyfriend bar very high.
Ten years later, Serena is struggling to keep her animal rescue organization afloat when someone donates funds to produce a charity calendar for the shelter. Edward ‘Chase’ Foster is a burned out, internationally acclaimed photographer sent to do the work.
When Serena hears the name Foster, she so badly wants to connect this name to the young man she met years ago but sees little resemblance to Edward. Chase immediately makes the connection to the young girl he met on the beach, whose picture he has carried with him around the world for ten years.
Dreams do come true. Some times we have to wade through a lot of ugly to reach them, and this is such a story.

If you’ve been waiting on Serena’s story, you will not be disappointed. What happens when a chance meeting 10 years in the past will be the new photographer for a charity calendar for Serena’s rescue? Both Serena and Chase have held onto that chance meeting and used it to get them through the tough times in lift. Now 10 years later, can they build upon that or are the real life things they experienced keep them from finding their forever?
This is the third story in the Harper Family series. In this series, we get a glimpse of how family dynamics (or more importantly, patents’ actions) effect all of those family members differently. Sometimes things that happen within a family leave lasting scars on each family member, it its own way. Each story touches on how their lives have been shaped by those actions.
In Serena’s case, it is the inability to trust someone while they’re away from her. Her trust issues are tested when Edward “Chase” Foster re-enters her life. He’s now a world traveling photographer and, even while she’s becoming reacquainted with him, she struggles in her own mind about whether or not she can trust him when he’s away.
The character development is wonderful. We really get to know both Serena and Chase, understanding why they are each committed so passionately to their respective causes/careers. Chase is the more likable character as Serena’s insecurity almost overshadows anything else about her. Her love of animals and commitment to her cause shines through, however.
This is an enjoyable love story, no high drama (other than Serena’s trust issues) with a lovely ending.
Another GREAT book in this series! I absolutely LOVED Chase and his connection to Serena.
Nancy Stopper has created this wonderful world of the Harper Family and it is so lovely and sexy.
Serena and Chase have met ten years before when she was a teenager and he was an young adult. Their connection was immediately and sweet. Now, she is managing an animal shelter, supporting her family and worrying about her twin sister and Chase returns as the photographer in charge of a charity calendar for her shelter.
This book is something else, it is lovely to see Serena and Chase reconnect and how strong they are together. The writing is beautiful and only brings strong feelings for this couple.
A beautiful book and worth reading.
A fragile heart can prove itself a great asset, if we don’t allow it to become an even greater weakness. Chasing Trust takes the most tarnished of hearts and shines them up real nice. Stopper dives head first into a world of broken souls and stagnant dreams to find a rainbow at the end of a dark tunnel. Chase and Serena are two halves of a whole. Chance is how they began. Can a little bit of faith and bucketful of hope, guide them to forever? A hauntingly beautiful heartache becomes an ethereal fresh start.
A good curl up and sink yourself into a book kind of read. A chance meeting in their teens and reconnecting as adults. Issues to work through for each of them to get to that hea. You get to see all the family dynamics and how actions effect the future.

I received a free copy of the novel Chasing Trust: A Harper Family romance book 3 of the 4 book series by Nancy Stopper and this review was given freely.
Complex and filled with family, dogs and poignant moments, this novel provides excerpts into the flourishing family life of the Harpers as it merger with the Bennetts, portrays the family’s concern with Alexis drinking, and contains the rocky second chance at romance story of animal shelter owner Serena with Edward aka world renowned photographer Chase. The story of them learning to love, trust, and build a relationship together is touching and a little steamy with a happy ending.
